It goes without saying that we were nervous leaving a perfect stranger at our house with the cats, after 4 years of not leaving the house for even a single night, but having Larry over put our minds at ease. Larry has a very mellow and quiet personality, so even the skittish cat started to accept having a stranger in the house by the third day. Having someone you don't know come to stay at your house and take care of your pets will always be stressful, but I can honestly say that Larry is 100 % trustworthy when it comes to taking care of both the pets and the house. We already booked him for our next trip away and plan to use him as long as he is available.”

About: I’m twenty years old and have been taking care of my cat ever since I was ten. When my sister who is ten years older than me moved out she got two dogs and a cat, who I would care for regularly while she went out. The past two years I have been nannying for a family with two kids and four dogs, I would sometimes care for the dogs, walk them and feed them multiple times a day if the family needed to leave somewhere. I recently moved away from the area that was close to them so I am now looking for a new source of income as it is pretty difficult to find families to nanny for. “Our nervous little puppy Thor really enjoyed his time with Susan. It sounds like it took a day for him to warm up to Susan and the other dogs, since he can sometimes be fearful, but the next day he was running up the driveway, excited to return. He'd come home so tired from playing with the other dogs. Susan seems to have a few dogs there every day, which ended up being great socialization for Thor. She has a big backyard for them to play in, and a patio area inside for them to spend time when it's too hot out. She treated Thor well, and we look forward to having him stay with her again soon.”

I especially liked the fact that she has a meet and greet before the stay and gave me great hints on what to bring from home to make it easier for my doggie kid. You can really enjoy your vacation when your kid is at Candy's home. ”
“We were visiting Las Vegas and needed last‑minute care for our two elderly dogs, and Diane truly went above and beyond. Not only did she welcome both of our girls on short notice, she cared for them for four days during a week of extreme heat — something they wouldn’t have tolerated safely. This was our first time using Rover, and Diane made the entire experience feel easy and reassuring. She was wonderfully communicative from start to finish, sending updates and photos throughout their stay. One of our girls, Sherry, had an upset stomach, and Diane was so attentive and comforting, letting us know she was keeping a close eye on her. Her kindness allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our trip, knowing our dogs were in safe, loving hands. We are incredibly grateful for her care and hope to use her babysitting services again. Diane is truly a gem, and we can’t thank her enough.”

“Such a wonderful experience with Jenna! I felt so at ease leaving my dogs with her for over a week because she is super communicative, responsible, and clearly loves dogs. She has a lovely property with lots of outdoor space for the dogs and often works from home so the dogs receive plenty of attention. I know we found a great dog sitter because my dogs often need a day or two to rest and decompress after staying with someone else and I noticed they seemed immediately settled and content when they came home. Highly recommend!”
“This was the third time leaving Frankie at Ori’s, this time for a whole week boarding whilst we were out of town. We were at ease knowing Frankie was somewhere he is now comfortable, and Ori kept us updated the whole week with photos. He’s always been intimidated by larger dogs, but as the week progressed he made lots of new friends, so it was great for his socialisation also. Will definitely bring him back for future boarding/day care!”

“Our first time using Rover, and our first time using Sienna, we left our dog with her overnight. Sienna and her boyfriend are both great. They're animal lovers and dog whisperers. Our dog looked happy and relaxed and made buddies with the other large dog that was there. They both enjoyed playing in the very large and pet friendly yard, which has lots of room to run, and has lots of shade and sunny areas too. We decided we would definitely be back the next time we needed a sitter for Sam.”
