“Oshie was very responsive and willing to accept our reservation at the last minute. She was very flexible with our schedule as we came to town for a last minute vacation. Jaxx enjoyed his stay with her, and he felt very comfortable and at ease with her!”

“Etta was amazing! This way our first time using the app and doing a dog sitter. Etta immediately gave us a huge sense of security and reassurance that our fur baby would be in good hands the moment we met her. Being that it was a first time our dog was nervous and braked at her dogs and the neighbors; which was very unlike her. Etta was so patient, calm and kind helping both our dog and us through the process. She sent us multiple texts and photo updates throughout the day which also made my girls smile knowing Bali was in good hands. Upon our return Etta provided homemade dog artwork for the girls (made especially for them from Bali). It was such a wonderful gift to remember the day and Etta! I would highly recommend her to anyone especially a new comer like us. Thank you Etta for everything and providing a safe loving landing place for our Bali while we explored the city! Wishing you the very best!! 🤍🤍 Sara”

“My puppy had a great time with Emily and her pets! They were all so sweet and everyday my puppy tried to drag me to the door in her excitement to see Emily and her fur babies!”

“Michael was amazing!! He helped make our trip so much better! He accommodated our needs and helped us in every way. Thank you Michael!! I highly recommend him!!”

“Michelle was so kind and just amazing! We were driving down to New Orleans for the day and wanted to leave our pup somewhere safe and not drag him around the city with us all over. We're really glad we found Michelle because our pup Lucky had the besr time! She sent regular picture updates of him having so much fun! When we came to pick him up in the evening he wasn't jumping up and down like he usually does when he's happy to see us, just wagged his tail, so he didn't even miss us!”

About: Hi, I’m Julia 👋🏻 a lifelong dog lover and current dog mom of two. I actually met my husband by asking him nine years ago, “what’s your dog’s name?” I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes, plus those with special needs (behavior, medication, etc.) and hope I can meet and help your family when needed🤍 If you're new to Rover, get $20 off your first booking through this link: https://www.rover.com/sit/juliab91086 I'm new to Rover, but have always centered my scheduled around my dogs for as long as I've had them (since 2016 with my current babies and since I was seven with my childhood dog) 😊 I work from home and prioritize the dogs eating, going outside, exercising, resting, and everything else! I have a very large fenced yard suitable for everything from sniff breaks to playing fetch. I have a nine-year-old Black Lab and a four-year-old small Blue Heeler who get along with all of their furry friends and love making new ones. I let the dogs on the furniture but can also set up a calm and secluded space (small and/or large crate included in care) if needed.

“She was sooooo amazing. We were only driving through New Orleans on our way to FL. We wanted to stop and visit a museum. It was so nice to have our dog well cared for while we spent the day touring. Highly recommend.”

“Ivette was so accommodating and took the most wonderful care of our dog. He is somewhat anxious and very energetic and she kept him happy and stimulated the whole time while sending us adorable photos and updates. We can’t thank her enough!”

“Katherine and family were wonderfully welcoming and supportive to my sensitive dog, Lily, and I could tell Lily felt very comfortable there and had fun. Lily is looking forward to her next play date with Katherine and her sweet dogs.”

“Danica and Louis were so easy to work with and accommodated a last minute schedule change with no issues. Danica was very warm and welcoming and sent pictures and videos throughout the day.”

About: Hi, I’m Britt — a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet sitter. I had my sweet pup Abbie for 10 wonderful years, and since her recent passing, I’ve deeply missed having a dog around. I’m not quite ready to adopt again just yet, but I’d love to share my home and heart with your pup in the meantime. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless friends’ dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. I work remotely (as does my partner), so your dog will have constant company, attention, and care. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a spacious yard that’s fully enclosed with double-secured fencing — perfect for safe play and lounging in the sun. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs and understand the extra patience and TLC they may need. Whether your pup is energetic or a couch cuddler, they’ll be treated like family here. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet — I’d love to hear about your dog and how I can help! Right now, I’m freelancing remotely through November — my main job runs from November to June, so I currently have a super flexible schedule and work from home full-time. That means your pup will rarely be left alone and can expect lots of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I’m available for daytime care, overnights, or longer stays depending on your needs! I’m currently in a pet-free home, so your dog will get all the attention without the stress of sharing space with other animals. I live in a cozy New Orleans shotgun-style house that’s easy to section off depending on your dog’s needs — whether they like their own space or prefer to be close by. We also have a double-secured fenced yard that’s great for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. While this profile is just for me, my partner is also home full-time and a calm, animal-loving presence. He’s especially patient with dogs who may be shy or nervous around men. I’m happy to accommodate crate training, medication, or any specific routines to help your pup feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me.

“Cozette was very sweet and caring with Lucy. She took her on a few walks and made sure she was comfortable while we went sightseeing for the day. Got back to me quickly through text every time. Thanks, Cozette!”

About: Dogs have been at the heart of my life for over 20 years. I’ve shared my home with a full pack of beloved pups—from spirited beagles to gentle seniors—and cared for friends’ and neighbors’ dogs of all ages and temperaments. I understand the joy (and the responsibility) of keeping a dog happy, healthy, and loved while their people are away I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 20 years of experience caring for pups of all ages, from playful youngsters to gentle seniors. I work from home, so visiting dogs get constant love, walks, and snuggles in a calm, dog‑friendly environment. And … I have the flexibility to come to your dog, if staying at home is more comfortable for your pup! I follow your rules for consistency for the dog. My home has a fenced yard and I’m happy to visit parks or go on walks.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I love them and take my care of them. I enjoy walking them because they allow me to get exercise for myself and the dog. I’ve raised dogs from 9 weeks old to taking care of a dog 16 years old. Both of my sons also enjoy being around them as well, as they are always treated as part of the family. Pet care fits in my day at multiple points. Including feeding at the breakfast and dinner then usually at least a 30 minute walk. Then sitting outside with my dog Roger while he relaxes in the sun. I do anything that makes my dogs more comfortable and happy. That ranges from getting special bone treats that increase my dogs breath to going on 1 hour walks. As I have hybrid work I’m usually home so I let my dog out whenever he needs to go out.

About: My partner and I adopted our chihuahua mix Mango over a year ago now, and she loves nothing more than her daily hour walk to City Park in the morning. I had my pup Daisy for 17 years and although she's passed now, she loved hiking and walking around the neighborhood. I also lived with my best friend for a few years in college and co-parented her dog from the moment she came home from the shelter. I have taught both dogs basic training such as sit, stay, lay down, heel, paw and cuddle! I work from home and am happy to bring your dog with us or take them out later in the day! Happy to dogsit at my house in Navarre (couple blocks from City Park) also! I have a long fenced yard perfect for throwing the ball or just chasing around. My pup is fully kennel trained and I’m happy to kennel yours or they can chill on the couch when we’re out of the house! In terms of walks I always steer clear of other dogs on walks just in case of reactivity, and love City Park trails for the availability of water and shade!

“Wonderful!!! Strawberry had so much fun, she couldn't wait to go to see poppy everyday. Jessica accommodated my late shifts at the hospital! She was so sweet and understanding with strawberry who is still a puppy. I will definitely take her to Jessica's every time I'm in New Orleans.”

“My first time using Rover and I picked the perfect person. I’ve had my dog for 9 years and always been too nervous to let anyone besides family babysit lol. This was a pleasant experience and I genuinely appreciate how simple Rachelle made it. Thanks so much Rachelle ♥️”
