About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life. My mom is a biologist so she taught me from a very young age how every living thing has a soul and a place in this world. She would pick up mice and spiders that got into our home with her hands and take them outside (instead of killing them). Needless to say, I am very comfortable around animals. I’ve had dogs and cats as pets my whole life and I consider myself pretty good with them, even when meeting stray cats or other people’s dogs in the street; I am very patient with them and always let them feel confident with me before I pet them. I have never house-sat for dogs before but I have taken care of roommate’s and friend’s dogs while they are at work or out of town, feeding them, and taking them for walks, etc. I have house-sat for my mom’s cat before (at the end of 2021, actually, for her birthday) which you can read about in my testimonials. Full-disclosure – I’m currently looking for a part-time job so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a car so I can drive over to you, just let me know what your daily and weekly needs are so we can figure out a schedule :) I’m currently not allowed to have any fur babies at my apartment so I will give your pups all the attention and play-time they want. Like I said above, I’ll let them get comfortable with me at their own pace but, of course, take care of their basic needs like food, water, and walks. Just let me know how they do with other dogs on the street and with other humans – if they’re shy, really energetic, etc.

About: I was raised on a small farm, where caring for animals was part of daily life. Horses, goats, sheep, cows, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, reptiles, even the occasional rescue raccoon. That foundation grew into a passion, and eventually, a career. I’ve spent the past six years working as a veterinary technician with both large and small animals, and I recently earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from LSU! At the heart of it all, I know what it feels like to love an animal like family. My late Aussie, Tayt, taught me that. Pets aren’t just pets—they can become your world. Under my care, they’ll be treated with the same love, attention, and respect I give my own! As a recent graduate from LSU with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science, I bring both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to the care of your pets. I’m currently dedicating the next few months to growing my business on Rover while working from home and planning the next chapter of my career in animal care. This means I have the flexibility and availability to be fully present for your pets—providing attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate care throughout the day. For those special needs and senior pets, I can give oral meds, subcutaneous fluids, IV and IM injections, apply topical treatments, and be extra mindful on monitoring their health. About: I’ve always been an advocate for all animals in receiving love and care when needed. I feel like there’s a synergic effect with pets. Not only are we helping them but they’re helping us have a better day. My favorite thing to do with pets is staying active such as walks or to just play with them. I am able to fit per care in the afternoons or early in the morning. I work remotely so I am able to be free between consults to have some time to hang out with some pets. I have my roommates cat with me napping all day during my consults :) I would be making sure the per is receiving enough nutritional intake the owner suggests and helping them feel comfortable with paying attention to them and offering the best pets and rubs they deserve. I love to just be there for them when needed.

About: I have been around a variety of animals including reptiles my entire life. I worked as a veterinary technician for a year. I am trained to react quickly and have a decent amount of medical training. I am also experienced with handling senior animals including those with special needs. I have handled animals that are paralyzed, post operative, and medication dependent. I have no other job at the moment. This gives me constant availability. I have my own transportation as well as the ability to create my own schedule. I do constantly supervise my animals. I am easily able to redirect an animal before any problems can arise. I have fast reflexes from my time as a veterinary technician.

About: I grew up in a home filled with animals! Dogs and cats of varying health, kittens on the bottle- you name it, we had it. My mother worked at an animal hospital and ran a non-profit rescue my entire childhood, where I volunteered and assisted for years to come. I've got two beautiful fur babies at home that are my whole heart, so I know how difficult it can be to trust others with your pets. Because of this, I am also familiar with giving medications and ointments for your pets. I am a careful, attentive pet owner, and I will bring that same care to your home. I'm currently working part time as an afterschool teacher, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the care they need throughout the day and in the late evenings. My fur babies are spoiled rotten in our two story townhome, each with their own space to run and play. We also have a fenced in yard for your pet to run and play.

My mom has had a long haired chihuahua for 16 years. I have walked him and cared for him periodically over the years. I know that fur babies are part of the family. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for years. For myself but as well as for family members and friends. My yard is great for high-energy dogs but I can also accommodate senior dogs that just need love, slow walks, indoor play and relaxation. I’m a elopement/wedding planner! I make calls and hold meetings all from the comfort of my home. So I am able to tend to pups all day, as well go on walks often. They will be in safe conditions as I have a fenced-in yard and live in a beautiful park that is convenient for quick strolls. My home has a spare bedroom/office to which I dedicate to each pet guest that stays with me. Where they can have their bed, crate, toys, and other items to help them feel comfortable.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life. I used to be heavily involved in a local rescue with fostering. My two dogs love other dogs I am a local realtor and work from home mostly so I have time to give care and fun to your fur baby. My house has a big backyard for everyone to play in. We go on neighborhood walks or even explore City Park Having dogs of my own I don’t have anything that they can get into to get hurt or eat. I don’t leave toys out all of the time because my little dog loves to destroy everything.

About: I am very attentive and sensitive to the dogs needs. My schedule is also flexible right now. I can also handle all sizes of dogs. I’m working from home so I can make my schedule flexible and can cater to the needs of the pet owners. Only time period I cannot dog walk is on the weekends. As a dogwalker, I have leashes and harnesses that can fit many dogs. I also know how to fit pretty much any harness to a dog. I also have trained with multiple dogs to walk them.
