“Zoe is incredible!!! She bonded with my dogs in quick order and did a spectacular job of caring for them and loving on them while I was on vacation. I highly recommend her. She is thoughtful, compassionate, and thorough, and even cleaned up everything before she left, leaving me with a very clean comfortable home to return to. She is a gem!!”

“This was my first booking with Rover and if Tonia is an example of the quality and compassionate pet sitters....we will be back! Tonia was prompt, kind, attentive and a life-saver (last minute scheduling request). We couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you Tonia and Rover! From Tucker's mom & dad.”

“Noa did a phenomenal job taking care of my boys. She made sure they were good, sent plenty of pictures and videos and even stayed longer sometimes to make sure they weren’t by themselves too long. Would definitely recommend and use again! They were in great hands”

“Imani did a great job house-sitting and watching my cat, Penny! She provided updates everyday and was quick to respond to messages! She left the place spotless and Penny loved her! I would definitely recommend her and will be reaching out to her again in the future!”

“Rowan was absolutely fantastic for house sitting my 2 dogs and 4 cat mad house. Felt 100% secure in the care she provided. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of care.”

“Megan and Lee are awesome! It was so lovely getting to do a meet and greet before we left on our trip. They took wonderful care of the pets and I really enjoyed getting photos of the happy animals while we were away.”

About: I've had at least two dogs my entire life. I've cared for puppies through adult dogs. I have even cared for some with special needs. When your dog stays with me, you also get my whole family to care for them. I'm a stay at home mom and I have plenty of time to care for your baby. I can be with your dog at all times. I have a fenced in yard and three dogs who would love to play and snuggle. I will also walk your dog if you'd like.
About: I had a Jack Russel Chihuahua for 14 wonderful years. I've also had Aussies, cats and kittens, parakeets, cockatiels, hamsters, and rabbits over the years. I know the struggle that comes with taking the best care of your pet while you work and vacation. My dog didn't board well, so I really appreciated all my Rover sitters! I am looking to offer the kind of care you'd want for your own pet. I am hoping to help just like the other Rover sitters have helped me with my lovely crazy dog in the past. Every pet has it's quirks! Just another retired dog mom looking out for the other pet parents out in the world! I work from home with a pretty open schedule. The only time I'm really gone is Saturday for a few hours. I can take a lot of breaks and spend some time with your pet. I am comfortable with most situations and animal personalities. I have had anxious pets so I understand that sometimes steps need to be taken to be respected by the pets. I can take care of feeding, playing, short walks
About: Hi, my name is Kylie! I’m a patient, kind, and attentive dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes. I treat every dog like family, ensuring safety, fun, and love every day. I’m reliable, responsible, and ready to make your pup happy and comfortable while you’re away. I’m available weekdays (Monday–Thursday) for dog sitting, walks, and playtime. My schedule on weekends varies because I work at different stores, but I’m happy to accommodate special requests or fill-ins whenever possible. I love caring for dogs and enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while fitting pet care seamlessly into my week. Although I don’t have pets of my own, I love caring for dogs like they’re part of my family. I supervise them at all times, follow their routines, and create a safe, clean, and loving environment so they feel happy and secure while you’re away.

“Leslie was very helpful! she was able to make last minute plans for us with adjustments to our timing too. she provided daily updates and she definitely cared for our cat who had had a very minor surgery right before a family trip. Highly recommend! Thanks!”

“We couldn’t recommend Debbie enough!!!! She was (miraculously) available fairly last minute for our trip and from the word go, she was top notch! Our home and puppy Philomena were so well cared for while we were away. Debbie sent us plenty (but not too many) of snapshots and occasional videos of Phil living her best life while we were away. Thank you Debbie for being Phil’s new friend and we can’t wait to have you back again!. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, ‘no notes’ as the saying goes. 🥰.”

“Julie kept us well informed about how Cooper was doing. He had nice long walks and play time in the yard with Julie. These are things we are unable to do with him so he loved it. Definitely would use Julie again.”

“Great communication. Went above and beyond with cleaning muddy paw prints off the floor due to the rain. Followed all directions and asked questions if he was unsure of something. Highly recommend for your pets needs!”

“Shannon is the absolute GREATEST! She’s professional, communicative and took amazing care of our animals. She’s not our first Rover but I'm hoping she’ll be our last! I am so relieved we found her and will always be our go to for when we need our pets looked after. 11/10. Thank you Shannon!”

When your dog stays with me, they won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m able to provide plenty of companionship, potty breaks, playtime, walks, cuddles, and attention throughout the day, while still allowing them to relax and feel comfortable in a home environment. For pets I care for in your home, I can work around their normal routine and provide the individualized care they’re accustomed to. Whether your pet needs regular walks, medication, playtime, extra potty breaks, or simply someone nearby for companionship, my flexible schedule allows me to be there for them. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and well cared for—whether they’re staying in their own home or enjoying a stay at mine.❤️ 🐾 Caring for Your Pets in My Home or Yours Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, my priority is always their safety, comfort, and happiness. When I’m caring for your pets in your home, I’m also happy to help with the little things that give you extra peace of mind, including bringing in your mail, watering plants, taking out the garbage, and keeping your home looking lived-in. Most importantly, your pets will receive plenty of companionship, affection, playtime, and attention. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your pets are being cared for with the same love and attention I would want for my own. ❤️

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - West Chester Woods
John was great taking care of our dog, cat, and house while we were away. He was super responsive, sent lots of pictures and updates, and made us very comfortable. He also had a lot of patience dealing with our challenging senior dog who is very wary of strangers. He put in work to make her feel comfortable and begin to relax. Will be booking again for sure.

Zoe was fantastic! This was the first time we have used Rover and on short notice, we requested Zoe pet sit overnight for multiple nights. She was very responsive to messages/texts from the start, sent many pictures documenting our dog's daily activity and kept the house tidy. She was very thoughtful and sweet. We would definitely use her services again! Highly recommend!

I really appreciated the ability to book her at a late notice. Although I was not able to meet her in person, I came home to happy healthy puppies. Pictures would have been nice but I won't doc her for that - handling two energetic puppies is enough and if she experienced what I experience, they do not sit still for pictures.

Teresa did an amazing job with my pups. She sent pictures of them and kept their schedule perfectly. They got plenty of love and were very content when we got home. My one dog has cushings disease and needs meds twice a day and it was no problem for her. I will definitely rebook with her again.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred West Chester Woods walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in West Chester Woods maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in West Chester Woods choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
