About: As a lifelong pet enthusiast, I've been caring for cats and dogs since childhood. I have 4 of my own furry friends now (3 cats and a dog), one of which is chronically ill so I have experience with sick pets. I also have valuable experience watching over friends' beloved pets for extended periods at a time. I am currently working part-time and create my own schedule so I have a lot of availability both during the week and on the weekends My dog is 75 pounds so I have experience handling large dogs (such as walking or can crate your dog if needed). “Constance has watched our boys before but this time was different. We were in the process of moving when I was told to go on a trip for work. We had emptied our apartment but didn’t want to put our cats in an unfamiliar environment (a new house) and then leave them. So the cats stayed in the apartment and Constance came to check on them. One of our cats became so stressed out by the change to his home that he was a completely different animal. Constance sent me constant updates and (because she works with our vet) she saw the signs of distress and assisted us in getting him anxiety medication until we could get home. Invaluable connection to have if you’re leaving your cats for any period of time. She knows cats and is very helpful in easing my mind when we’re away.”

About: I love the dedication and unconditional love that dogs provide their human companions. I will admit that personally I have cats, and they just don't do that all the time :) I have dog-sat for friends over several years providing feedings, walks, and playtime to Malteses to German Shepards. I love getting to know each dog and treating them as if they were my own, which means they are usually going to be pretty pampered. If your dog needs specialized care, I would be willing to learn. I don't really know what specialized care entails for a dog, but feel free to message me and we can discuss. I am a high school teacher so my availability is afternoon/evenings and weekends during the school year but wide open once it is the summertime. My cats are not used to dogs, so caring for dogs in my home would mean they would be spending time outside. However taking care of dogs in their home allows them to be comfortable, have rub my belly sessions (if that's what they like), and take walks in the area that they are most comfortable.

Honestly, I think he forgot we existed for a bit 😄 He played his heart out, explored, and looked SO genuinely happy in every single picture. You could just tell he felt safe, loved, and totally at home—which is everything we could ask for. Thank you for treating our boy like your own and giving him a day full of tail wags and joy.
