About: I've taken care of my family dog for 6 years, and I also was entrusted with my friends and family's dogs since I was 9. Currently, I am doing volunteer work and shadowing physicians as I am home for the summer from college. I am available majority of the week and weekends. I make sure to let our animals have their separate spaces for when they are in need of a rest. They also have fulltime access to food and water, and I have a fenced in yard with enough room to run around. In a client's home I will make sure your pet has food, water, and a clean place to go to the bathroom. I will ensure they are mentally stimulated with plenty of play time and cuddle time.
“Maureen took care of my cat while I was out of town! I received plenty of cute pictures and a thorough note about her visit each day. She was very communicative and accommodating. She gave me peace of mind about my cat while I was away! I would highly recommend Maureen!”

“Toryn was so reliable and communicative. She was on time and communicated when she was even a few mins behind schedule which was much appreciated! She took great care of our dogs and cat and sent lots of pictures and updates”

“Ann was great taking care of my two fur babies. More than just needing to be let out to go to the bathroom, they need love and affection when I am gone and she delivered. She arrived on time and cuddled with them so they felt like they weren't missing anything. I was quite happy with her services!”

“Edina is a top notch sitter. We have 3 high demand puppers and she does nit hesitate to jump right in to take care of the daily tasks of their needs. I will hughly recommend Edina to everyone who needs a sitter for fur babies.”

“We worked with Julie requesting walks, play, and meals for nearly 6 months until we recently moved and she was an absolute Godsend. She cared for my puppy (from age 2-7 months) while we were working like he was her own and I can't put into words the peace of mind she afforded me. She sends photos of your pet with each visit, was extremely accommodating of our chaotic schedules, and is so, so thoughtful. We will never find another like her!”

“Oli has done more than was asked oli was so great with my babies.oli has gone above and beyond. I would have her watch my pet anytime.i will definitely be coming back to oli and you should also..oli truly has the love and passion for pets.”

“I liked Chloe the minute I met her. She came over for a pre visit to meet my cats and learn about their routine. Ava and Tucker warmed up to her right away and I knew they would be in good hands. Chloe arrived on schedule for four mornings and five evenings to feed, play with and attend the litter box. When I arrived home from my trip, the house was in order, and everything looked as I left it. I’ll definitely request Chloe again. 🏠😸👍🏻👍🏻”

“Constance did a great job with my senior cat. She’s on multiple medications and supplements. She had no problem giving her pills which is a huge relief. My girl got lots of extra love and pets while I was gone.”

“Taylor did a fabulous job with my fur babies! She stopped in for 30 minutes to let them out, spent quality time playing with them, and even tried to hand feed them to make sure they felt loved and cared for while we were away. She took great pictures and videos of her interactions with them, which gave me so much peace of mind. You can truly tell she has a heart for animals and treats them like her own. I highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive to care for their pets!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Chester Woods. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
