Availability
I am a Cincinnati native and I relocated to Youngstown, OH to begin my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at YSU! In June, I have some availability as I have a lighter class schedule. In July and August, I will begin a clinical rotation that consists of hours around 8-4 Monday-Friday, but my weekends are completely free. My availability is always accurate!

I like to keep my eyes on the dog and go outside with them, especially if it’s beautiful weather. I love to do work or read in the same room as they are in, just to give them company and make sure nothing is wrong. If needed, I can put a leash on them as well. I am also willing to crate the dog if needed. Please let me know if your dog needs accommodations and I will assist in whatever way you need!

I like to have a list of information about the dog, such as feeding times, their personality, health conditions, sleeping schedule, number of walks per day, etc. The more detailed the better! I want to take care of the dog to the owner’s liking. Specifically for dog walking, I would like to know how well the dog gets along with other dogs and humans.
A typical day
I love to spend time outside with dogs! Whether that’s playing fetch or relaxing in the sun, I cater to what the dog needs. When taking dogs on walks, I like to find a nice walking path that has beautiful scenery or take the dog on their usual walking route. I also am a fan of taking walks in a park, as there are usually other people and dogs taking walks as well. It’s a great opportunity to socialize the dog if needed! I also enjoy playing fetch with them and giving them belly rubs obviously.

I’ve been taking care of dogs for about 12 years now, starting with my family’s golden retriever back when he was a puppy. I have now been providing care for dogs using Rover for over 2 years! I have plenty of experience caring for puppies and senior dogs, along with dogs with mobility issues. I love being able to spend time with the dogs and take care of them as my own. **I cannot sit cats due to a severe allergy. I apologize!

Cara is incredible. She took great care of our 2 girls and our home. We loved the daily pictures. I’m pretty sure she left our house cleaner than when we left! We are so thankful for everything she did and would highly recommend her!
Cara was great as usual! Our pups love having her and it gives us so much peace of mind, knowing we can have someone in our home where they are comfortable and takes such good care of them. We love getting the picture updates too!
Cara is so sweet and reliable. This was our first time using Rover so we were naturally very nervous leaving our 2 girls in the care of someone we really didn’t know. We set up a meet and greet and immediately felt comfortable with her. She stayed at our house for a long weekend and she was very good about sending us updates and pictures. We will absolutely be calling her for our future dog sitting needs. I would 100% recommend her!
