About: I've had dogs as cherished family members since I was a small child, fostering a lifelong passion for their well-being. Our own very social dog, Marley, loves having furry companions, making our home a truly welcoming and fun environment. I'm fortunate to have a spacious, securely fenced, and private backyard perfect for safe play and relaxation. Your dog will receive experienced, loving, and attentive care here from me and Marley. I work from home, your dog will enjoy nearly constant companionship and supervision throughout the day. Our schedules are flexible, allowing for frequent potty breaks, regular walks around the neighborhood or local park, and plenty of playtime. Marley, our very dog-friendly pup, loves nothing more than having a new friend to play with, ensuring a happy and interactive environment. Your dog will truly become a part of our daily routine, receiving consistent attention and care. Providing compassionate, reliable, and personalized care is my top priority, ensuring your pet is happy, safe, and comfortable, whether they are in my home or I am caring for them in yours. Here's how I approach pet care: Caring for Your Pet in My Home (Dog Boarding/Daycare): Constant Companionship: With both my wife and I working from home, your dog will enjoy nearly constant supervision, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. They'll never feel lonely. Integrated Routine: Your dog will become a part of our daily rhythm, which includes regular potty breaks, walks tailored to their energy level, and dedicated playtime. Safe & Fun Environment: Marley, our friendly and welcoming dog, loves having canine companions and ensures plenty of social interaction. Our spacious, securely fenced, and private backyard offers ample room for safe play and exploration. Personalized Attention: All feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, and medication needs are meticulously followed. We provide cozy spots for rest and ensure they get the specific attention they need.

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals since I was a young kid and have had a dog virtually my entire life, sometimes a few dogs at once and many cats too. I have been a fish, dog, and cat parent for about thirty years or more of my adult life and ongoing. Recently completed a twelve-week obedience training course with our German Shepherd. Plenty of work to do. We also have done pet sitting for friends, as they have also done for us over the many years. We have cared for many a senior dog or cat, as they have been ours. We have always had and cared for animals through their entire life cycle. Before Rover dog care and dog walking of other peoples pets, aside from friends pets was not something we had done as a business, but taking care of animals, especially dogs is an activity I have been doing my entire life, every day. We walk our own dog a couple of times daily. I have owned and cared for many dogs. I currently own a two year old White German Shepherd, which is very socialized. He is a silly one. I have some experience in training, in as much as myself and my GSD went through twelve weeks of obedience classes through PetSmart to help get him setup for success. My primary business is in IT. I work from home almost every day. I have an independent IT consulting company, working for myself since 2003, to date. A very flexible schedule. However, the business has been slow and I am looking for something to supplement my income. Another IT job would likely be treated as a conflict, and I already do that work anyway. This type of gig seems perfect, flexible schedule and doing something I have always wanted to do. Right now, I have the time. We will discuss shifts; I may be good to help during a variety of times. I love dogs, all animals really. We are very willing to sit for some dogs in our own home or stop in to check on, walk and feed them, etc. I have a neighbor that does the same thing as a “side hustle” (for Rover) and they love it. When I am out walking my dog, I often run into them walking their dog tenants that they are sitting while owners are away. I have lived in the Southbay since 1988 and love it here. I live in a two-story house on the edge of old Torrance and Harbor City. I look forward to our future contact and making some new furry friends. Thanks so much for your consideration. I have a fenced yard and one dog, a white German Shepherd that is still enjoying late stage puppy hood :-) at two years old. Loves his toys, well socialized and really loves playing with other dogs. He is good company for another dog and someday soon we may be getting another, so he always has a friend. Right now we have just one. We also have one Maine Coon cat (16yr), that generally stays out of site around new dogs. Our one cat has been living with dogs most of his life. We will create separation of animals if it is necessary. If you provide it and it is needed, we will crate your dog, otherwise we are happy to let them always be part of the home while staying with us. The home is safe and secure with plenty of space inside and outside. We are in an enclosed subdivision with safe residential streets for walks. We have dedicated space where our dog and cat eat separately, we can also set up feeding so your pet can eat alone if necessary. We can adjust access to food, so nobody (including our dog) has any issues. Dog walking is done regularly for our GSD and we are happy to take your pet along to explore the neighborhood.

“We loved Cindy to watch our pup. She set up a meet and greet so we could see if she was a good fit and we immediately felt comfortable. We felt that our pup would be safe and loved while she was hanging out with Cindy. Loved her setup, lots of secure outdoor space, and clean interior. Daisy came home worn out and happy. She seemed excited to go back the next day and Cindy even got our stubborn girl to go on a walk. Loved that I could ask for updates and was periodically sent photos and videos. Felt very good about leaving Daisy with Cindy. 100% will be bringing Daisy back!”

“Muffy had a great day with Lizy and Chris and their two sweet dogs. We have never left her in a home with other dogs as she is very shy but this was a wonderful opportunity for her to socialize and get more confidence. Thank you for the amazing pictures and regular updates. Would highly recommend them.”

“My dogs, including a 4 month old puppy, had a great time with Samara. She sent several updates, photos and kept me informed. We will def be in touch for next time. Thank you!”

“We had a great experience with Akemi and Amy. They were so warm and shared adorable pics of our toy poodle doing walks, napping and playing. I felt my dog was very safe and happy in their care. We will definitely be returning soon”

About: I grew up with two pugs and a Maltese, so I’ve experienced it all—from sleepless puppy nights and potty training to wild zoomies and eventually the slower pace of senior care. I’ve learned how to read dog body language, keep pups on a schedule, and give them the love and patience they need at every stage of life. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I miss having that companionship and would love nothing more than to spoil your pup with attention, snuggles, and care. Since I work from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day- whether that’s potty breaks, walks, playtime, or just being there for companionship. I love having a furry friend around to break up the workday and keep things joyful and active. Caring for pets doesn’t feel like a chore, it’s something I genuinely look forward to. I care for pets the same way I would want someone to care for mine- with lots of love, patience, and attention to their routine. Whether I'm watching your pup in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick closely to their feeding, potty, and walk schedules, and I always make time for play, cuddles, and any special needs they may have. I'm also happy to send photo updates so you can see how they're doing while you're away!

“Chieko was an amazing sitter!! She took really good care of my dog, Sunny. She went to take Sunny for a long walk and fed him snacks+food. I felt safe leaving my dog with Chieko.”

“Sorin and Sozen were amazing with my two English bulldogs! The boys had a blast, got baths, and went on walks all day. Could not have had a better experience. Your little fur baby will be in amazing hands!”

About: I have taken care of puppies up to senior dogs for 8 years! Family and friends trust me to watch over their fur babies because I love and treat them as they were my own! I pay attention to detail and you can trust your fur baby will be taken care of very well! I work from home so I am home basically all day every day. I take breaks to take my own pup out, so I have time to take your pup out or do a drop in visit as well. I live in an apartment and my door is always closed at all times. If I do have to open the door for any reason I make sure the pups are no where near the door or I can make they are crated if needed.

About: I have pet and home-sit for twenty years. I have references upon request. All of my sittings are referrals of other pet sittings. I pet-sit for ten years full-time and another ten years part-time. I have administered chemo meds for dogs and insulin for cats. I welcome dogs into my home, or I can come to your home. For cats, I can always come to your home. I am currently enrolled in online school and a stay-at-home mom. Both of my children attend school, and I drop them off and pick them up from their schools. If your pet stays at my home, it is welcome to sleep or lounge on my couches. I have a backyard where they can play ball or just run around. Our neighborhood is great for walking dogs. I am near Hickory Park. I have a dog door they can use to go in and out as they please. If you prefer me to visit your house, I can also water plants, collect mail, and check property.

I cannot recommend Jinae enough! She took incredible care of Tucker while I was away—truly going above and beyond. I received regular updates, photos, and little notes that gave me complete peace of mind. Tucker clearly felt comfortable and loved, and forgot all about us. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring, Jinae is the one. Will absolutely book again!

Kimberly was amazing. Our dog Mochi had a great time and came home happy from a day that can only be described as doggy summer camp. The other dogs with Mochi were sweet and a perfect match for him. Kimberly was caring, attentive, and super responsive to all of our questions. She sent pictures throughout the day to let us know how he was doing. We highly recommend her and will use her again.

Trisha is the best! Turtle always has the best time with her. She always has activities for him, takes him on lots of walks, sends lots of pictures and has the sweetest feedback everytime. We are so happy to have her watch Turtle. We can tell how happy Turtle is with her and her family.

Reliable and Attentive Care: I was grateful to have someone reliable to watch William Bear and Christopher Evan while we were away. Communication was clear and consistent, and I appreciated getting updates and photos during their stay. I could tell our dogs were well cared for—they came home calm, happy, and clearly well looked after. That peace of mind is what matters most to us. Thanks again for keeping our boys safe and comfortable!

Delaney took such great care of my little Chewie, and sent pictures while I was away for the day. She was friendly, responsive and Chewie seemed so happy when I came to get him. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again. Thanks again Delaney!

Lauren's calm, kind energy was exactly what our tiny old Chihuahua needed. She sent a photo right away of him enjoying the view at her home and she and she gave him all the care and attention he needed for the whole long day. I was amazed at how well and how quickly she got him to relax and be comfortable with her. We're definitely going to request Lauren again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our precious senior!
