About: I've worked for a dog walking company, wrangled ferrets, and outsmarted wily cats. With nearly a decade of pet sitting experience I'm ready for just about anything your furry friend can throw at me. I'm adept at problem solving and can meet your pet where they need me to be. I have experience administering medication and coaxing the anxious and stubborn out of their shells. I am free most days in the morning and the afternoon if you need a walker quickly. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to work with clients to meet their needs. I will follow any instructions clients give for how much freedom they want their pets to have. I usually like to keep them in sight or in an enclosed area like a fenced in yard when not out on a walk. I like playing and keeping them entertained or sitting quietly together if they're tired. It mostly depends on the energy levels and temperament of each individual.

About: I am a firm believer that our pets are our family, and each individual pet deserves individual care, respect and love! I am meticulous with details and ensure that a beloved pet’s routine is kept as consistent as possible under my care. I’ve owned cats since I was 8yrs old, and also had hermit crabs, Leopard geckos, and tarantulas. My family never had space for a dog, so I walked and played with my neighbors dogs while growing up. Once I reached my 20s, I’ve volunteered for years at no-kill shelters back in TN, trained on how to clean, socialize and care for dogs. I have just moved to Northern Illinois and wasn’t able to transfer my job up here. So I want to make my job caring for your family! I am available Saturday - Wednesday. I am very detail oriented and respect every pet owner’s instructions and wishes to the letter. Pets deserve consistency with their established routines! She made sure that they got plenty of time to play and eat treats and provided clear communication to us. I would like to note that I would have appreciated if she wiped the paws of the pups after coming from outside due to the odor. When we came home after the weekend there was a noticeable stench from this. Other than that great job Sydney. Thank you very much.”

I can walk your dog in the morning and play with them until I leave for work. After work we can play and enjoy what new outside adventures have in store! She gave us a courtesy call the day before to confirm what time we needed her to arrive and what time we expected her to stay with the dogs the folllowing day. Our dogs have seperate medical prescription needs which I provided. She took the extra measure to recap their needs via text after she arrived at our home. She sent me updates and pictures during her stay which put me at ease. She was very conscientious and showed how much she cared for the wellbeing of my dogs. We were very pleased with her service. About: First of all, I absolutely love dogs. I love all animals, really! I have experience with dogs having grown up with one. While I only have a cat at home, I find myself always checking out dog videos online and I frequently jump at the opportunity to dog sit for friends and family. I am more than willing to help in any way I can. I will play with your dogs and make sure they are walked and taken care of. I do work a full time job from 8am-5pm M-F but I would be happy to help with anything outside of these hours.
