About: I have worked as a pet boarder and sitter on Rover for about a year. Having previously worked as a certified nursing assistant, I have experience as a caregiver, and one of my greatest passions is caring for pets. Dogs and cats are members of a family, and it is so important to care for them as you would any other family member. I have several years of experience boarding dogs for their owners when they have been on vacation, and have also cared for my own animals throughout my whole life. I also have experience as an animal transporter for West Hancock canine rescue, in which I would work with a team to take dogs and cats from high kill shelters to foster homes or rescues. I also have a wonderful dog I rescued, Ollie, who is friendly and likes to play with other dogs at times. I’m working part-time so have time to play with pups! And our family loves animals, so it’s a great fit for us to pet sit, and we like providing a home environment for owners who need to travel. About: I am a retired high school educator, artist, outdoor enthusiast, and animal lover. I am a five-star walker and a very reliable and compassionate caregiver for your pet. I often feel we are kindred spirits and I am totally intrigued by their individual personalities. About: I have always grown up with dogs and I was a dog mom for the past 15 years before having to say good bye to my long-haired daschund. I am not ready to take on another dog full-time, but I would love to care for other's dogs on my days off. I know how stressful it can be entrusting your furbaby to a stranger. Some skill that I have are I am a problem solver, I have good leadership, i’m a fun person to be around and I have a good attitude. I did lots of extracurriculars in school and I think I get those qualities from being so involved and getting to know different people. I think caring for pets will bring me closer with different animals and give me a good skill to have in the future. I do dream to have pets of my own when I am older. I always make sure that they are well fed, hydrated, and happy. I am also a pretty clean person so I keep cleanliness in mind as I do my job.
