About: My family is big on rescuing animals, so as long as I can remember I’ve always been surrounded by all types of animals! Officially I have been caring for dogs since I was 8, this was around when I rescued my first dog, Buddy, a Brussels Griffon. My mother owns a lot of property where she has four dogs, goats, a pig, and many cats. I watch the house and care for the animals while she’s away. More frequently, I care for my Fathers dog, a blue short haired pit-bull named Shadow, as well as my ferret I have had for 5 years, Karma. I am also comfortable with light grooming (brushing), bathing, cleaning up messes, and assistance with medication to help you and your furry friend! I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to cater to your companions. My work schedule is usually more full during holidays like Christmas and Valentine’s day, but I am very flexible and will always work to help benefit you and your pets! I can perform and educate myself on any practices desired for your pets comfort. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to dog sit in my home.

About: i have been watching dogs since i was 16 friends, family, and church family members have relied and trusted in me to watch their pets. I work part-time, so I’m mostly free during the day and most evenings. I’m just unavailable Sunday until 8 PM, Thursday nights 7–9, and Monday/Friday evenings. Provided the owner approves, I introduce myself, learn about the breed and its story, snap a few pics, and send a text introducing the pet to my mom, son, sister, and niece—like it’s breaking news. About: Hello! My name is Alyssa it’s such a pleasure to meet you! ☺️ I came to rover because I wanted to try something new and hopefully meet new friends and help their animals! I am a nurse and I also love waitressing on the side. My time has recently opened up which is why I’m trying this place out! I’ve raised cats my entire life and I’ve been raising German Shepherds for the last 2-3 years. I’m experienced with caring for sick animals as my first German Shepherd was special needs and so my 10 year old cat named Nico. I’m comfortable giving medication and I know many tricks to administering it to those who like to spit it out haha! I’m experienced handling working breed dogs and love training them! I’ve also been told many times I’m a cat whisperer and seem to win over even the most introverted cats 🤣 Having the ability to care for others and animals is my biggest accomplishment and blessing! I look forward to hopefully meet with you soon!! My schedule has been recently freed up so I’ve been prioritizing training my dog and doing self care! Scheduling is currently very flexible for me and I’ll update here when things change! As you may have guessed my life is pretty crazy busy 🤣🤣 but I do thrive off of the busy schedule and love being productive with my time! When it comes to my shepherd and cats, a consistent routine is always something I always create around my schedule! Routine is very important for pets and they can be stressed without it! Feeding, nap, play, and bedtime I always strive to keep consistent within a reasonable time frame. This is also what i strive for when caring for someone else’s pets as a primary way to keep stress to a minimum for them. When it comes to working breed dogs like mine, I like to allow around two hours daily of walking, training, and play to fulfill their psychological and physical needs. When I am caring for another person’s animal, I also love to help out in other ways such as basic chores around the house during down time! Cleaning is very therapeutic for me and I always love to help out when able to! However I do respect any and all boundaries on whatever you’re comfortable or not comfortable with!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and all different kinds of pets ever since I was a little girl. My whole life I grew up with animals. I even ride horses. I’ve owned dogs my whole life and help out other people in times of needs. I am looking to be a professional vet so I am very much so an animal person! I currently work a part time online job so my availability is always opened. I ride horses only a few times a week but times are very flexible. About: I got my first dog when I was 5 and have had one ever since. I began petsitting when I was 12 years old watching pets on my block, so I currently have 20 years experience. I also volunteered for a year at an animal shelter while I was away at school walking and spending time with the dogs and socializing the cats. I love animals and currently own two dogs (husky and pit), two cats and three ferrets. I also still ensure I spend time with my family cat back at my parents. My dog pulls on a leash so if your dog pulls I am used to it. For me its not just walking your dog or feeding your pets its also spending time with them. 1 year of volunteering at the RISPCA in Rhode Island in 2010 Currently working as a teacher but I am available before work, after 4 and anytime on the weekends. I follow school schedule so off for holidays and summers. I do on occasion have to bring my daughter/son with me to visits based on if I can’t get someone to watch them. I make sure each visit is complete with a Rover Card making you aware of what we did during my visit. I make sure to include at least one photo.

About: I know how to take care of small dogs from <10lb to 80 lb to adult dogs. I know how to deal with anxious dogs that need more attention. I’m currently in school but I will have plenty of time to play with your dog after school hours. I’m available 3-9 on weekdays and 8-9 on weekends I will make sure all needs of the dog are met before I leave and make sure to give them everything they need while I’m there.

About: I've been taking care of my 2 year old puppy ever since she was super little, since then I am now taking care of my new kitten! Many rely and trust me since I have training of baby and senior animals! I have pet sit for more than 5 years now. I'm currently enrolled in college and over summer break I am available May - Early August. During my break, I work part-time and try my hardest to update my calendar everyday! I have a fenced backyard and a crate provided in my home. I have plenty of toys for any kind of dog/cat. I love to take my dog/clients on walks! About: I have previously worked at a dog daycare and have a 5 year old bernedoodle of my own that I am the primary care taker of. I have experience with puppy’s to older dogs as well as cats. About: I have been a veterinary assistant for over a year and I am currently in school to become a certified nurse/technician. I adore every pet that comes through the doors, and they all seem to warm up pretty quickly to me. I pet sit for family and friends time to time. I am on summer vacation from classes currently until the end of August. I do work Monday-Friday, 6 hour shift except Wednesday (10 hour shift ugh). I also work at least 1 Saturday a month.
