“Peter T knows his dogs. He is the most caring, knowledgeable, compassionate guy. My Rosie loved him from the get go. Look no further for the person who takes as much care and love as Peter T. I would drive from Massachusetts to Wells ME for this guy!!!! My husbands stress level dropped when we left her with him. On a scale of 1-5, i’d give him a 5 being the best st what he does.”

“They were incredible... My dog is going through a shy phase and they couldn't have been kinder with him. They sent pics throughout the day and updates and the home and the yard were perfect for a dog to have a super fun day. These are seriously good people and we'll be using them again whenever we're in the area. The perfect family to leave your furry loved one with.”

“Bri watched my pup on relatively short notice on a holiday weekend. She was very responsive, provided lots of updates and pictures, and overall took great care of my energetic girl, and we even went home with some homemade dog treats! I definitely recommend her!”

About: I’ve been a loving parent to both cats and dogs for 25 years. I love animals and am happy to accommodate walk schedules, medications, injections, and of course, lots of playtime and scritches! My pup and I do pretty much whatever we want, whenever we want. I have a flexible work schedule and am often at home, so can accommodate desired potty break and walk times, medications, preferred activities (beach, dog park, hanging out at the house.) My pup is always ready for company and activity, but knows when it’s time to relax. I live in a private house set far back from the street, with a large, well kept (but unfenced) 1.5 acre yard. My dog, Pepper, is an extremely social, playful, but chill and well-behaved 5yr old neutered Jack Russell mix. He loves playtime with other dogs, but is respectful of the quieter styles of older dogs or dogs just needing rest. I have a comfy crate suitable for small to medium dogs (if you crate), lots of toys, and lots of time to engage with your sweetie. The area surrounding my home is safe and quiet, with many options for woodland walks. I live near dog-friendly beaches and the Saco river, so splashing is an option, too! If your dog has good recall, I can provide off-leash time in the 1.5 acre yard. I have a front porch with a protective gate to keep the sunbathers from getting out, and lots of space for indoor play time and resting as well.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I could talk. We always had a zoo in our house growing up whether it was dogs, cats, ferrets, Guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, birds. Learned a lot about responsibility by taking care of all of the animals and neighbors and friends have always trusted me to watch their animal friends as well. I have also been a volunteer at Project Wildlife and worked in dog grooming salons as well as pet sitting for family friends. I work from home full time so I am always around to make sure the animals needs are being met. My schedule is pretty flexible so I usually have time to bring the dog for a walk or car ride and snuggle with the cats during lunch time. My partner, Chris, also lives in the home and as a big animal lover is always ready to lend a hand or give a good scratch. We have an electric fence we can train any regular visitors to use so they can free roam the yard with our dog or we will just use a leash if the dog does not have good recall per the owner’s instructions. We also live right next to a lake which we can walk to with the dogs during the summer.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 13 years ,I love to work with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I personally own 3 American bully’s so have a lot of experience with large dog breeds. I can take your dog/s for walks , feed them ,do drop in visits or play with them. I have a small farm so have experience tending to rabbits, cats ,chickens, pigs, goats and chinchillas I work part time and am available weekdays / nights and weekends, i am available for overnights or early morning pick up / drop off I can come to you and take your dog/s for walks or playtime in your yard or neighborhood as well as taking them to hiking trails, parks or just out for a little socializing (depending on the dog) I have dogs that I can bring if your fur baby needs a playmate as well. I also offer daycare and boarding in my home, I don’t currently have a fence up but we are adding one in the spring. I have plenty of room for inside play for the dogs and go on multiple walks a day with them. I do have personal dogs but I can have it so they are separated if your dog doesn’t do well with others.

About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life. Currently sharing our home with our lovable rescue, Maddie. She loves everyone and wants to play all day! I love high energy and low energy dogs! I’ve recently retired from full time teaching after 37 years! My schedule has changed greatly and I’m available to be with your pooch! My dog Maddie approves! Our home is on a busy street, so we never go off leash. Our house is comfy and happy for our happy snuggly girl, Maddie.

Vanessa M.
“Of all the animal lovers I know, Vanessa has the deepest and most intuitive understanding of pets' emotions, behaviors, motivations and joys. I've seen her surprise an underfed and uncooperative piglet so completely with a bottle that it forgot it's own resistance to bottle feeding. I've seen her give insulin shots to my own cat such that he thought he was getting special treats. I've seen the care she took in comforting, restraining and protecting her own pooch though his recovery from a difficult surgery. I couldn't recommend her more highly if you want your dog to have a place it will find warm and inviting and where you can be confident that they will be understood and carefully and conscientiously attended to.”

Hallie L.

“Excellent day stay for my small dog. Great communication. Thanks”

Clayton G.

“Bruce had a blast spending the day with Clayton and Vans!”

“Trish is a wonderful family friend who I trust to watch our dogs when we go on vacation. It’s nice to have peace of mind knowing my babies are in good hands. I would recommended Trish hands down.”

Brianna S.

“Brianna provided wonderful care for Timber during his day with her! She shared so many photos and frequent updates. I would definitely use her again given the opportunity.”

Chris H.
“Chris is a great caregiver for pets. He has owned dogs all his life and truly cares about their health, well-being, and overall quality of life. He is the primary caregiver to his own family dog, walking her and taking her to the dog park every day. When caring for other people's dogs, they would get the same treatment, love, and care. I would 100% trust Chris with any of my pets.”
