“Fawn is great with my 9 week old puppy. She recently raised a puppy of her own so knew what I was going though in terms of chewing etc. She was always quick to respond, on time and sent updates of what they were up to even though they she baby sat for a short period of time. Fawn brought her kids with as well (after asking of course) - which was wonderful because my puppy needs the socialization and they tired her out! Fawn is kind, gentle and very respective of your wishes and your home. She has been with my puppy every day this week so far and we are loving it!”

About: Hello I’m Joy. I live in Coralville in 965 Flats Apartments where I work remote for the University of Iowa. I have been passionate about pets my whole life! My family always had pets; dogs, cats, birds, etc while I was growing up. I am very outgoing, I love taking my dog Rosy to the parks and on walks. I want to see more happy more happy tails in the neighborhood! I’m looking forward to meeting your pup, and getting them out for much needed exercise or just some nice couch cuddles and scratches! I work remote from the University of Iowa, so I’m at your pets beck and call! Just my chihuahua mix, Rosy and I will take at least 2 walks a day. I am flexible to what your pet needs; lots of walks to lap time cuddles! My apartment has a fenced dog park area, as well as plenty of sidewalk paths for walks in every direction. I have crates if your pet finds kenneling comfortable, or many sizes of dog beds in most every corner.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, as well as a few hamsters, goldfish, Guinea pigs, and a rabbit. About: Growing up, I was always finding stray cats to care for, and after much pleading we finally got our first dog Dixie, who is now at a ripe age of 14 years old. In college, I frequently dog sat for my friend’s dog and this has continued even now! I also was fortunate to adopt two lovely kitties. Although I love dogs, I have enjoyed training my cats since it has proven to be more difficult than training a dog. I have always been an animal lover, and I believe spending quality time with your pet is important. I am excited to meet your furry animals! I am currently working from home, and my schedule is very flexible. I am planning to start medical school in the fall, and I am hoping to continue to pet sit once I begin! I currently babysit my nephew (not a pet haha) once a week as well. I live in a 2 bedroom spacious condo for my cats and they love the natural lighting. I think with cats, making use of vertical space is really important in maintaining their well-being. I also believe scheduled play-time can improve their moods so I play with them every single night for at least an hour. :)

About: Hi, my name is Christian! I’m a medical student at the University of Iowa and recently moved to the area from New Mexico. Back home I’m a dad to two playful Akitas and a plethora of other farm animals who instilled in me a love for furry friends at a young age, and here in Iowa I live with a cute Cane Corso mix and two furry kitties. I previously worked as a Vet Tech at an animal hospital for about two years and gained a ton of experiences with animals of all ages, breeds, conditions and demeanors. I’m very active and well versed in interacting with dogs and cats alike, and will even take your dog on runs with me if you’d like! I’m currently going to school full time but have a fairly flexible schedule due to the nature of online and hybrid classes. During week days, I’m available for walks, runs, daily care and periodic check-ins with your animals. During the weekend I have more availability and can work with you to accommodate your needs. I can easily work with you to accommodate your needs depending on your home, fur baby, and personal preferences. I am comfortable taking your animal out for walks, play time outside, or crating inside if you prefer.

About: I've had family dogs my entire life and was very hands-on with training and care since I was around 10. I got my own two cats in 2020 and really fell in love with how quirky they can be. I work full-time but can do visits before, after, or possibly during lunch breaks. I am available all day most weekends and am willing to work with your schedule! I have two indoor cats that never wander outside, but I am willing to conform to whatever you and your cat are used to and most comfortable with!

About: I’ve had pets my entire life! I grew up with 3 dogs and 3 cats. As an adult, I have my own baby girl, Iris. My cat is definitely my baby so I will take care of yours like they are my own. I’m a full time student! I have plenty of time between classes or if you need an overnight stay! Fur babies are a great distraction from school! I always walk dogs on a leash, and I make sure both cats and dogs have clean water and plenty of food! If necessary, I will make sure cats have clean litter boxes.
