About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix named Maverick. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. As a medical student, I’m used to staying organized, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to routines and behavior. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise, extra patience, medication, or just a comfortable place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. “Erica was awesome! She came every day as scheduled, on time and cared for my two cats. She reached out about one of my cats receiving a supplement that we forgot to cover and she took care of him. She also reached out the day of travel to let me know that if something happened and flights were delayed that she would be happy to help out. A couple of the pictures I received were of close ups which told me that one of my cats was very happy to see her and enjoyed her company. My other cat is a giant "scardy cat" and hides from everyone she doesn't know and even she started being somewhere that Erica could get a quick picture of her. I work from home, so I'm home the majority of the time. That means your animals always get the attention they need, plus always another animal for companionship. I do have crates or have room for crates for sleeping or if they need alone time.

If I am booked on a specific day during your booking, I will let you know ahead of time so you can approve or deny the amount of hours I will be gone for that day (which can be anywhere from a 1-hour session to a full 10-hour wedding). I have experience as a dog owner, but have also spent many of my years dog and cat sitting for my friends and family. I raised and trained my parents puppy, a Bichon Frise Shih Tzu mix who needed lots of care to control his barking and playful nature, now 6 years old and so loving. I’m experience with a range of ages and needs, including puppies and elder animals with special care needs. I love dogs, as you can tell, and have all the time in the world to watch and play with them! I prefer dogs and cats have been handled and are used to being cared for, with no history of lashing out or biting. Whether you need me to cuddle, feed, brush, walk, or play with your pup, I'm your gal. Note: while I take a combo of meds for my dander allergy and have a high tolerance, I ask that any animals/homes with animals with high shedding be appropriately groomed and cleaned before sitting. I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. About: I am a responsible college student athlete who is very active and loves to be around pets. I have grown up with 1-3 pets in the house my whole life, and I have learned to take care of them to the best of my abilities. I have gotten used to doing the many duties involved with taking care of a pet, including picking up waste. My summer is busy enough to create a schedule to keep me organized, but I have more than enough free time to take care of your pet(s)!
