“We had a great first experience with Catherine, she was such a pleasant person to work with. Extremely reliable and provided updates and photos with every visit - she really put us at ease. My MIL’s senior dogs loved her! Will definitely book again in the future, and I would trust her with my own dogs as well.”

“This is my second time booking with Amanda for my two kitties and I’m so glad I did! She’s super detailed with the report cards and took the cutest pictures. Will definitely be booking again as I always know my girls are on good hands with Amanda”

“Donnie was so wonderful with our little kitty cat. I really appreciate that he was able to help him with his injections and spend a little time with him after his breakfast. He is very friendly and knows just how to calm your pet and make them feel loved. Thank you so much!”

“Shardae was very professional and is a trusting person. We booked her for drop in visits. She did a meet and greet so that our dog could get familiar with her. She followed all the instructions that we gave her. She took our dog on a walk when she came over and feed her. She also gave her one on one time to ensure that she is loved while we were way. I will rebook her anytime we are away. I will 100% recommend her to sit for your fur baby.”

About: Hi, I'm Chloe, I am currently offering daycare, hiking, walks, day training, boarding this summer in efforts to raise money for my nonprofit called Beach Dog Rescue! I am a certified dog trainer, the founder of Beach Dog Rescue and a lifelong animal advocate with over a decade of hands-on experience in dog rescue, fostering and behavior. I am currently home full time so your dog will be with me the entire time. I have a dog friendly husky and a dog friendly Maltese/poodle mix. I have experience training and fostering dogs with reactivity, fearful dogs, leash pulling, separation anxiety etc. I make my own schedule and run my dog rescue from my phone so I am able to be with your pet their entire stay. I offer a loving, fun, safe, daycare experience for social dogs who thrive in a peaceful home environment. The daycare is a home directly across the street from a park in South Torrance, called Beach Dog Adventures. I keep my daycare very small so we can focus on mental and physical enrichment, play time, decompression, exercise, and rest. What is included? Proper socialization and play with dog friendly dogs Daily park walk Water play Daily mental enrichment (snuffle mats. puzzle toys, lick mats etc) Calming music and scent therapy Lots of love and cuddles Daily photos Access to hike/beach add-ons if desired For boarding I only take one dog at time and they will be with me at my apartment in Rancho Palos Verdes their entire stay. Ask me about day training. I offer obedience day training while they are at daycare!

“I can’t say enough great things about Kai!!! This is my first experience using Rover as I did not want to put my boys in a kennel while I was away for a few days. Since my pups are a bit senior I wanted them to be in the comfort of their own home. Kai saw my boys twice a day, was consistent and timely and great at communicating with me how everything was going every time he saw them. I was a little nervous initially with allowing someone in my home while I was out of town, but Kai is completely trustworthy and made sure to lock everything up in between his visits. I HIGHLY recommend Kai for taking care of your pet(s) when you have to be away from them :)”

About: Having recently quit competitive sports after being a runner for 5 years, I have looked towards walking as my form of exercise and I've come to find it very therapeutic. I love walking, and I love animals, so why not combine both? My dog Spooner gets at least one long walk with me every day since I've been home from college. My summer break gives me very open availability with the flexibility to accommodate your and your pet's needs. I am currently home for the summer until August and have completely open availability. I am flexible and can accommodate your schedule and your needs. Having a dog of my own, I understand that situations can come up in an instant and it can be hard to find the time to give your pet a good walk. I am more than happy to accept same day appointments for dog walks depending on my availability. I have a fenced in backyard with lots of space for pets to run around. My dog Spooner is fed twice a day and taken on one long walk a day. He gets plenty of play time, pets, and attention throughout the day as well.

“This was the second time my boy had a pet-sitting appt. with Sami, and it was excellent. He was still very unsure of being left alone, and decided to hide when he saw my luggage come out, But when Sami visited with him, his bond was even stronger - he was ready to play hard, and accept many pets, brushes, and treats. He was a very happy guy during his visits with Sami, and now comes to the door looking for her. Sami also takes a lot of care with his food and water, which he appreciates much!”

“Jessica did an hour drop in on our two dogs. She was prompt and provided us with lots of photos. She made sure to provide them enrichment, time to potty, and filled up their water bowl before she left. We would definitely hire Jessica again!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. My love for them started early and has only grown stronger over the years. I was lucky enough to grow up with two amazing dogs: Max, my loyal and energetic German Shepherd, and Cody, my playful malti-poo. Through them, I learned not only how to care for dogs but also how to understand their unique personalities and needs. They taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and above all, love. Over the past three years, I’ve turned that lifelong passion into experience by dog sitting and walking for family friends and neighbors. Whether it’s a short walk around the block or a jog around the park, I always treat every dog like they’re my own with affection, proper attention, and cared for with responsibility and respect. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, from tiny terriers to large labs and everything in between. I’m confident in handling energetic puppies, shy rescues, and senior dogs who just need a little extra care. My malti poo is 15 years old so I know a thing or two about senior dogs. I take pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and communicative with pet owners. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I always strive to provide peace of mind for you while giving your pet the love, exercise, and care they deserve. Currently, I’m on summer break and living at home, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I'm free almost every day, so I can easily fit pet care into my daily routine. Whether it's early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or evening playtime, I have the time and availability to be fully committed to caring for pets. My open schedule allows me to be reliable, responsive, and consistent making sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they need. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up, I helped take care of my German Shepherd, Max, who was very energetic and needed regular exercise. This experience taught me how to handle larger, active dogs and how important consistency and patience are in pet care. Now, I care for my 15-year-old malti-poo, Cody, who requires a gentler, more attentive approach. With Cody, I’ve learned how to support an older dog’s needs like giving medication, keeping a calm environment, and being mindful of physical limitations. I make sure he’s comfortable, clean, and always gets love and attention throughout the day. Whether I’m in my own home or a client’s, I bring the same level of care, responsibility, and affection. I follow any instructions provided closely, keep the pet’s space clean and safe, and make sure they feel secure and loved. I treat every pet like family and always aim to create a calm, happy environment where they feel cared for and at ease.

“Cristeen is very punctual and let my 3 cats on the screen porch each day which is what keeps them happy. She sends lots of photos and keeps cat food from collecting on the floor around food dishes with our mini vaccuum. She's a great communicator and very reliable.”

Weekdays are my most flexible, however I can work around weekend mornings and late nights as well! I currently work full time as an RDA (Dental Assistant), but have two kids in college. I love to walk @ 4 miles a few times a week and would love to spend time exercising the gentle furry souls! I’d make sure they get enough love and attention, make sure they were comfortable in their environment and at ease, also that they have enough food and water, playtime in the backyard and walks.

“Elizabeth was a life saver and did both a house sitting and drop-in visit for our 2 pups over 2 days. Pixel is still a puppy and a little higher maintenance with bathroom breaks, so having her there to let him out and give them some attention allowed us to relax while we had plans with family in town. She even did a pre-visit to meet them and go through instructions which was very helpful. Highly recommended and will definitely book again!!”
