She also a great house sitter, she stayed in our house when she watched out dogs which was really nice, she left our house cleaner than we left it. About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. I love dogs and cats but am open to other animals as well! I will treat your fur babies like my own and give them so much love and attention! I am currently living at school, but at home I have three large dogs that I walk and take care of! They are two newfoundlands and a Bernese Mountain Dog. I feel comfortable and confident handling dogs of any size! I am currently a full-time student at Whitman College looking for ways to make some money on the side! I don’t have too busy of a schedule this Semester so I should be able to accept most requests. I live with other students who are all animal lovers as well and would be happy to look after your fur baby in my home or yours!

“Maddie is such a good pet sitter! She settles in and devotes her time and attention to the pets - I have a dog and 2 cats. She is very considerate of my home and belongings, follows the house rules and cleans up before she leaves. My pets adore her! However, she is no pushover and doesn't let them take advantage of her or misbehave. When I return, my pets act as if I never left, and that's what really matters to me. I can tell they have been well cared for. I also had an instance when I lost power for a long period of time while I was away from home. Maddie stayed calm and clear headed, and carried on just the same as always, reporting updates to me and saving my freezer food. So, I would say she's good in an emergency as well. There is no one I would rather have watch my pets. She's the best!”

About: I’ve been working with dogs and cats my entire life, including having two little cavalier king charles spaniels at home in the Bay Area. I am active and always out and about and I love dogs more than anything, so I’m always happy to bring one with me wherever I go!! I am a full time student but I never have more than two classes in a day. I live with many housemates including my girlfriend who is a fellow Rover member! There will never be a time during the day where your pet is alone. Like I said, there will always be someone with your pet if I am out of the house, but that will never last longer that an hour or two. If i’m not in class i will bring your pet with me wherever I go, and make sure that they are well exercised, fed, and loved!!

“Marikka watched our 3-year-old cat (Pumba) and 3-year-old Greyhound (Josie) while we were out of town this past long weekend. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would! Marikka met with my boyfriend and I at our home a few weeks before we left and we were instantly drawn to her warmth and kindness. Both pets came up to her immediately and our cat even let her hold him (which he rarely lets us do!) Josie is a rescue with a very timid and nervous personality. She doesn't always warm up to strangers but this was not the case with Marikka! Josie brought her toys over to her and seemed so at ease in her presence. While we were away, Marikka sent frequent updates and pictures of both pets which made being away feel so much easier. She also took Josie to doggy day care to play one day, watered plants and dealt with recycling/trash pick-up. When we returned home, our house was spotless (probably cleaner than we'd left it!) and she had even washed our sheets and put them back on the bed. What could be better after a long trip? If you are looking for someone sweet, reliable and professional, Marikka is your girl. We are already in the process of booking her for a next few getaways! Marikka- thank you again.”

About: Hello! I have cared for my own cats and dogs since I was around 13. I currently have 2 cats and I live in an apartment so I can't board at my place but I would love to come help you out in your own home! I have been doing some dog sitting/dog walking for a five year old pit bull five days a week for the last few months. During those daily visits I fed her lunch, play with her/take her on a walk, and take her out to go potty. I can play with your cats as well, change cat litter, give snuggles, and make sure they don't get lonely overnight if needed! I currently work part-time, my job is open Thursday-Sunday and I work 1-2 of those days a week. I would still have time to stop by on those days or even spend the night. I dog walk Wednesday-Sunday around noon. I can do just about anything needed as long as it's at your home. I would prefer not to pick up dog poo but I totally can if it's necessary. I would love to keep your furry family members company while you're away!

“Maeve is a great pet sitter. She looked after my dog, Nellie, for a week and a half this summer while I was out of town. She took her on hikes and to the river and would send us updates on how Nellie was doing during our time away. Maeve also stayed at our house while looking after Nellie, leaving it in excellent condition. I would highly recommend Maeve as a pet sitter and dog walker. She is super attentive and caring towards the animals and considerate to the owner, always keeping us in the loop.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs around, before my parents got a dog, I was always with my uncles dogs. I have several years of experience dog and cat sitting, as well as dog walking. I’m currently in school, but my class schedule is such that I have plenty of free time Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, as well as on weekends. I live in a house with 6 wonderful housemates for your pet to play with and plenty of walkability. I have a car to go on adventures and am close to a variety of places to walk and play.
