“We were very happy to have Renae watch our pup and love on him. We really relaxed on our vacation knowing that Buddy was in good hands. We will definitely have Renae watch our Buddy in the future.”

“Nathan was very responsive to our questions and sent us pics of our dog enjoying his stay and getting lots of exercise. We had some friends drop our dog off and we heard that he was greeted warmly and given lots of attention on arrival. Exactly the sort of welcome you hope for when you trust your pet to someone else's care.”

“This was our dog’s second stay with Merri Anne and she is the BEST. Rosie always seems to have a great time and comes back happy and clean. She went the extra mile to accommodate us when we missed a flight. Thank you Merri Anne!!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12, it started with my sister's dog and I've slowly expanded to neighbors and friends loving pets! Im good with knowing their body language so I know how to react appropriately. Im used to long walks with dogs. I make sure the dog is happy. Im a part time photographer so I'm almost always home! I do school online so I won't be gone during the day. I have time for 2-3 walks a day, lots of play time. I have a fenced yard to let them out if it's an emergency or if they just want to run. I take dogs on 2-3 walks a day depending on what the dog wants. I let dogs sleep with me in my bed, I love cuddling on the couch as well. I love playing tug of war. If the dog gets messy while at my house I will give them a bath. If brushing is part of their routine I will gladly do that! I love playing with pets! They will have all my attention unless they want to be left alone.
“Amanda was amazing! We booked with her for a short trip to Yakima and felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with her. Her pups were great, and we loved getting an update during the weekend.”

“Amazing property for the dogs to run. Nicole and Travis are extremely kind and caring for the dogs. My dog barely wanted to come home. I'll be using them for boarding and daycare in the future.”

“Poor David! And poor Ziggy! Our pup got sick over the weekend. (Not the fault of the family; he only ate what we sent.) We were kept informed how he was doing and were able to head home a little early. It's a holiday or we'd be at the vet right now. P.S. Thirty percent is the maximum Rover tip even for above and beyond service!”

“Carol and Brian are such dog lovers, their house is definitely organized for dogs. I wasn’t worried about our dog at all with them and even with the hot weather we had. I received many picture and video updates of our furbaby and she had so much fun!!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.”

“Unbelievably reliable and kind. Honestly we don’t want to share Tifany, which will happen when the community finds out how awesome she is, but she definitely deserves a fantastic review!”

About: I love my little doggie and I’ll love on yours like they’re mine! I can snuggle with your dog if that’s their thing, or take them on walks around my neighborhood! I have some experience with special needs as my first rescue doggie was one-eyed and then had to have his remaining eye removed due to glaucoma and cataracts. I have experience doing eye drops and pet meds, as well as accommodating dogs with limited vision. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos as I know I love those updates when I’m away. Dogs are family and I’ll take great care of yours! Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. I’m currently working part time, so I will have flexibility in caring for your dog and can talk with you to learn more about your dog’s typical schedule. I have a backyard that works well for small dogs and I am happy to do walks if that’s what your dog needs! I do have two kids who are great and very gentle with our special needs dog.
“We are so grateful we found Shanna. We had never used a sitter before and had planned to travel for the holidays. Shanna was very responsive with all of my questions and put us at ease. Our dog Rocky loved Shanna and her dog Wini. We got updates and photos over the course of the stay. We will definitely contact Shanna in the future.”

“Andrew and Katie were AWESOME to work with! Very compassionate and dedicated to allowing Mabel the best stay ever. Mabel was so comfortable with both of them right at the beginning, which is unusual for our timid/anxious Newfy. Great communication, sent pictures often, asked appropriate questions. We HIGHLY recommend them and would not hesitate to have Mabel stay there again.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I absolutely love animals especially dogs. I’ve trained all my personal dogs with basic commands. Let’s talk I’m currently retired and spend all day at home in the house and in my yard. My dogs go outside every hour for potty and play every hour unless I’m gone. I take my girls out first thing in the morning I walk out behind garage near orchard to let them go potty. They eat and then play and go back outside with me only as I don’t have fenced yard and want to be sure they go out back. They are placed in crate when I am not home for their safety and typically sleep there during the night or in bed with me. They go outside every hour to potty and run.

Amanda and her family are amazing! We used her with our previous dog as well, so we already knew Nash would be in great hands. Nash absolutely loved staying at her house and getting to spend time with her family and dogs. Amanda sent pictures, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We’re so thankful to have someone we trust to care for our dog and would definitely use her again!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
