She showed up exactly on time, but most importantly, she was great with our dogs, who fell in love with her right off the bat. We were staying at a pet-friendly resort in Walla Walla and needed someone to walk our dogs but also just hang out with them in our room while we went out to dinner or wine tasting, as the hotel required that dogs not be left alone. Sophia came out once or twice per day during our long weekend stay, and it couldn't have gone more perfectly. She is very considerate of my home and belongings, follows the house rules and cleans up before she leaves. My pets adore her! However, she is no pushover and doesn't let them take advantage of her or misbehave. When I return, my pets act as if I never left, and that's what really matters to me. I can tell they have been well cared for. I also had an instance when I lost power for a long period of time while I was away from home. Maddie stayed calm and clear headed, and carried on just the same as always, reporting updates to me and saving my freezer food. So, I would say she's good in an emergency as well. There is no one I would rather have watch my pets. She's the best!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 11 including house siting and dog watching. I have plenty of experience with both big and little dogs. I also have experience caring other less common pets such as lizards, fish, rabbits, hamsters, Horses, chickens and ducks. I am currently a college student as Walla Walla community college pursuing an associates degree with an emphasis in biology. I also play on the soccer team for the college. I am doing many of my classes online and will have time to provide careful and loving care to pets. I have a cat at my home who is good with big dogs but struggles with small loud dogs. I have spent a lot of time walking dogs using leashes and am very comfortable using either a collar or a harness. I also understand that many dogs are not comfortable with new people, I will do my absolute best to make sure your dog feels safe and comfortable with my services.

“Myra has a way with dogs that may be compared to the Dog Whisper. Dogs respond to her in a positive way. Myra has taken problem dogs and turned them around in less than 2 weeks. I have a black lab puppy that needs lot of attention and discipline. Myra was able to provide the additional exercise while applying some very effective training techniques. The only problem is my dog likes her better then me:) I would recommend her services to anyone who cares deeply about their pet.”
