About: I have experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, and even fish! I send regular photo updates, can bathe your pets, walk them, clean your yard, and provide reliable overnight care. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether you need short term or long term help, I’m here to make things easier for you and your furry friends! I am currently working full-time from 3–11 PM at Providence and in the Air Force National Guard, but I can still easily accommodate morning and evening drop in visits, walks, or house sitting checks. My schedule actually aligns perfectly with typical pet routines: I handle early AM visits before my shift starts and late PM/evening ones right after I get off work. I’m very flexible on weekends and off days, and I always prioritize reliable, on time care for your pets! I care for pets in their own home where they feel most safe and comfortable. I follow all instructions carefully, keep their environment clean, and make sure they get love, play, and attention. I always respect your space and treat it like my own, ensuring your pet feels secure while you’re away.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12, it started with my sister's dog and I've slowly expanded to neighbors and friends loving pets! Im good with knowing their body language so I know how to react appropriately. Im used to long walks with dogs. I make sure the dog is happy. Im a part time photographer so I'm almost always home! I do school online so I won't be gone during the day. I have time for 2-3 walks a day, lots of play time. I have a fenced yard to let them out if it's an emergency or if they just want to run. I take dogs on 2-3 walks a day depending on what the dog wants. I let dogs sleep with me in my bed, I love cuddling on the couch as well. I love playing tug of war. If the dog gets messy while at my house I will give them a bath. If brushing is part of their routine I will gladly do that! I love playing with pets! They will have all my attention unless they want to be left alone.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life. Soon enough I started getting pet sitting gigs from friends and family. From elderly dogs to 5 week old kittens I love and cherish every moment with them making sure they get all my love and attention. I’m currently waiting to hear back from jobs so I have all the time in the world currently. So if you need a pet sitter I’m available! I have two skittish cats in my home so I sadly cannot take care of pets in my home. When it comes to clients animals I make sure they are comfortable with me and give them the attention they want. I available for long walks and lot of play time outside.

Jennifer has been an incredible help to me as I’m navigating the challenge of a very large and very untrained rescue St. Bernard. She has been patient and consistent and in a few short weeks her drop ins have gone from seeing Cujo to Beethoven. I am thrilled with the breakthrough she’s made gaining the trust of my poor formerly abused pup and am so confident in being able to get some semblance of my life back knowing that she’s in great hands with Jennifer! :)

About: I’m extremely well versed in medications, anxious animals, special needs, and overall regular pet care. I’ve owned many animals who were well loved and lived well over 12 years. I work part time with shifts not over 6 hrs. I’m working on a full time job, but for now that’s not important to my schedule. I am not able to house animals at my own place. My cats are spoiled and very territorial when another animal enters their space unfortunately.

About: I provide dependable, attentive pet care with a focus on making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. What sets me apart is my commitment to treating every pet as an individual. I take the time to learn their routines, personalities, preferences, and any special needs so they receive the same level of care they're accustomed to at home. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, from small companion dogs to large and giant breeds. I am also experienced with puppies who require consistent training, structure, and patience, as well as senior pets who may need extra attention, mobility support, specialized care, and a gentler pace. I understand that every stage of a pet's life comes with unique needs, and I tailor my care accordingly. I am comfortable administering medications and have experience handling complex medication schedules and specialized care routines. Whether your pet requires oral medications, topical treatments, injections, supplements, or multiple medications on a strict schedule, I am committed to following instructions carefully and ensuring their health and comfort remain a top priority. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, which is why I prioritize clear communication and reliability. You'll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, healthy, and well cared for. Whether your pet loves long walks, active playtime, quiet companionship, or extra patience and attention, I adapt my care to meet their unique needs. My goal is not only to care for your pet but to build a relationship where they feel excited and comfortable every time they see me. I take pride in being punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented, ensuring feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, and household instructions are followed carefully. Your pet's safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities, and I strive to provide the same level of love, attention, and care that you would give them yourself. I have full-time availability that can be uniquely tailored to the needs of your pets while also offering overnight-in home assistance if needed. When caring for pets in their own home, my priority is creating a safe, calm, and stress-free experience by maintaining the routines and environment they already know and trust. I understand that pets feel most secure when their daily schedule remains consistent, so I carefully follow feeding instructions, exercise routines, medication schedules, and any special care requirements provided by the owner. I take the time to build trust with each pet by moving at their pace, using positive interactions, and respecting their individual personality and comfort level. Whether a pet is energetic and social or shy and cautious, I provide patient, attentive care that helps them feel secure while their family is away. Safety is always my top priority. I ensure doors, gates, and outdoor areas are secure, monitor pets closely during walks and playtime, and keep their living space clean and hazard-free. I also maintain open communication with owners through regular updates and photos, providing peace of mind that their pet is happy, healthy, and receiving excellent care. By caring for pets in the comfort of their own home, I help reduce anxiety, preserve familiar routines, and create a trusting environment where pets can feel relaxed, safe, and well-loved until their family returns.

About: I have my very own 6 year old Springer Spaniel who I adopted at 2, who is sometimes fear reactive. This means I have experience managing reactivity and redirecting, while putting in lots of hours training and building confidence! I love giving my dog long sniff walks and time to be a dog! I also have experience walking two dogs at once. I am currently on break from school before starting my job, so I have plenty of time during the week as well as on weekends to help take care of your pets! I can watch your pet in the comfort of your own home, and take them on long walks to explore the neighborhood! I currently offer drop in visits and walks.

About: I have had animals my whole life and grew up on a farm. I’ve house sat and pet sat for family friends since I was a little girl. I love all animals and giving them the proper support each one needs. I have a job at a coffee shop I only work some weekends at for a few hours. I’m open to work around your pets schedule. About: I love caring for pets of all kinds. Not to mention dog (and cat!) cuddles are one of my favorite things in the world. I currently have two adorable kitties 😸 I have a part time job cleaning houses with a lot of time flexibility and will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I'm very active and am excited to run around the city and parks with your dogs, or go on a chill walk if thats more the pace. If there's a particular place they love to go please let me know! I'm happy to offer a further reduced rate for extended and weekly walk or drop in bookings so feel free to message if that's something you need. I believe in a loving and clear relationship with dogs; holding consistent boundaries with lots of praise and love for good behavior. As pack animals, loving discipline helps dogs feel secure about their place in the pack and clear in what behavior is desired. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon! I have a very open and flexible schedule which means your pets will get lots of time, attention and love from me. Plenty of time for walks and play. I am happy to do whatever is needed to help keep your pets safe and well cared for, and put your mind at ease. Just ask!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
