“Kai has been walking our two dogs for about six months now and she is fantastic. Has taken the time to get to know each of them and their own quirks. They are excited to see her at the door and always come back in great moods. Kai is always prompt and insures our dogs are well cared for.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 11 including house siting and dog watching. I have plenty of experience with both big and little dogs. I also have experience caring other less common pets such as lizards, fish, rabbits, hamsters, Horses, chickens and ducks. I am currently a college student as Walla Walla community college pursuing an associates degree with an emphasis in biology. I also play on the soccer team for the college. I am doing many of my classes online and will have time to provide careful and loving care to pets. I have a cat at my home who is good with big dogs but struggles with small loud dogs. I have spent a lot of time walking dogs using leashes and am very comfortable using either a collar or a harness. I also understand that many dogs are not comfortable with new people, I will do my absolute best to make sure your dog feels safe and comfortable with my services.

7. Mango D.
“My dog was happy, and I'm happy. My dog had to be home alone for 13 hours a day for a week. She would have been so lonely and destroyed the house. It was such a relief to know she was going to get some love mid day. After a week of Mango walking my dog; I noticed she had better leash manners. Which was a huge bonus.”

About: Animals have played a huge role in my life since I was a little girl. I was the kid proving the saying "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" wrong. I dreamt of being a veterinarian and was always bringing home stray kittens. Helping animals has always been in my blood, which beings me to my next topic. Rescue. I have been in the rescue world for about 8 years now. I began fostering for a shelter then opened my own rescue for about 5 years when I lived in Spokane. Unfortunately when I moved I didnt have the resources to continue. I have all kinds of experience from puppies and potty training to seniors that need special care/ medications, and I can even befriend those spicy little ones. Animals are my deepest passion in life, I hope I get to meet yours! I am currently a stay at home mother so your pets are my first priority. I am able to give lots of one on one time to your pet, walking, fetch, cuddles. I am Currently free seven days a week. I have a fully fenced backyard that is Aproxamitly 5ft tall. Since safety is my number one priority your pet will not mingle with other clients pets- but I have a few who love to play, and we will crate for their protection at night. We require pets to be up to date on vaccines and recommend them being a chipped as well.

“Terrific! Doja immediately loved Nicholas and he was responsive, professional and friendly.”
12. Emma I.
“Hello, I have know Emma for years. She's what I call an animal whisperer. She has that rare quality to communicate with any animal she meets; she loves them and they love her, it's just that simple. When she visits me, she sleeps in the guest room, and my dog and cat abandon me while she is here. They are maniacal about following her around and waiting for a scratch on their belly, a snuggle or a hug. She spoils pets beyond belief. For example, her cat, has a handmade house, scratching perch, filtered water bubbler, and toys galore... you get the idea. Pet-loving runs in her genes. I am told her favorite Auntie is in veterinary medicine. Since Emma was very young, she always wanted to have the same career as her aunt did. As life would have it, she is currently a dental assistant and a part-time college student. Emma is absolutely trustworthy and responsible. I would not hesitate for one minute to leave any one of my pets with her for any length of time. They'd be in loving hands while I was gone. If my animals are any indication, the only problem you will have is that your fuzzy friends will probably not want her to leave or if they stay with Emma, there are likely to hide when you come to pick them up! Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information about Emma and her sense of integrity and hard work. Simply put, she's the best! Cynthia Schultz, Retired college professor”

About: I have been taking care of my family and friends dogs’ for the past couple years (including my own). I never heard of River till i talked to my friend and she convinced me to try it out! I love walking dogs, and providing whatever care they need! If you have any questions let me know! I am a college student and i can easily fit pet care throughout my whole week. One thing to consider is that i don’t have an apartment or house to let the animals stay at but i am more than happy to make home visits in the day or throughout the night, walk them or whatever care they need while you are gone. When i care for pets in my clients home i do all of the following, make sure they take potty breaks when i arrive and when i leave, fill up fresh water and feed them their food, make sure they get playtime outside by tossing the ball for them, or taking them on a walk, and every couple visits making sure they stay clean my brushing them or giving them a bath (for the dogs). If there is any other needs for each pet, just let me know and i am happy to adjust!
