About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12, it started with my sister's dog and I've slowly expanded to neighbors and friends loving pets! Im good with knowing their body language so I know how to react appropriately. Im used to long walks with dogs. I make sure the dog is happy. Im a part time photographer so I'm almost always home! I do school online so I won't be gone during the day. I have time for 2-3 walks a day, lots of play time. I have a fenced yard to let them out if it's an emergency or if they just want to run. I take dogs on 2-3 walks a day depending on what the dog wants. I let dogs sleep with me in my bed, I love cuddling on the couch as well. I love playing tug of war. If the dog gets messy while at my house I will give them a bath. If brushing is part of their routine I will gladly do that! I love playing with pets! They will have all my attention unless they want to be left alone.
About: I have experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, and even fish! I send regular photo updates, can bathe your pets, walk them, clean your yard, and provide reliable overnight care. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether you need short term or long term help, I’m here to make things easier for you and your furry friends! I am currently working full-time from 3–11 PM at Providence and in the Air Force National Guard, but I can still easily accommodate morning and evening drop in visits, walks, or house sitting checks. My schedule actually aligns perfectly with typical pet routines: I handle early AM visits before my shift starts and late PM/evening ones right after I get off work. I’m very flexible on weekends and off days, and I always prioritize reliable, on time care for your pets! I care for pets in their own home where they feel most safe and comfortable. I follow all instructions carefully, keep their environment clean, and make sure they get love, play, and attention. I always respect your space and treat it like my own, ensuring your pet feels secure while you’re away.
About: For over a decade now, I have cared for animals across the range- farm animals, cats, and dogs. All of my pets receive loads of attention and love, no matter the age. Currently I am a college student and an athlete, so my schedule has flexibility for pet care and house sitting during the summer. Aside from a few specific dates, I am available throughout the day and week for whatever services you need. In a clients home I can follow the pet’s normal schedule for walking and feeding, including administering medications. For house sitting, my schedule allows flexibility to visit often and look after plants and pets.
“Jennifer has been an incredible help to me as I’m navigating the challenge of a very large and very untrained rescue St. Bernard. She has been patient and consistent and in a few short weeks her drop ins have gone from seeing Cujo to Beethoven. I am thrilled with the breakthrough she’s made gaining the trust of my poor formerly abused pup and am so confident in being able to get some semblance of my life back knowing that she’s in great hands with Jennifer! :)”

About: Greetings! My name is Tifany, and I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. I’m an experienced sitter, and somehow find myself often accepting interesting duties for unique pets. I’ve given injections, medicines, and even haircuts to animals. I do my very best to love on your fur-babies the way that you want them to be loved, even the hard-to-love ones. I am reliable, trustworthy (because I fear God), and accommodating. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little ones, and you, as happy as can be! If boarding your pet is your preference, you should know that I do have a smaller apartment; two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and bathroom, but small. I’ve found that some people want a little more space for their really big, multiple dogs. That’s okay, you should just be aware. But I’m also near a large college campus and it works well for walking your dogs with a lot of open space and plenty of plush, green grass. I also prefer to meet at a public space before meeting at my home — I’ve found that accepting a job must go both ways for your safety and for mine. If we decide that I should stay at your house while looking after your pets, you should know that I live as if you have cameras in every room, (except the bathroom, of course), because to me, God is with me and sees all anyway. It’s important to me that you know that this is my point of view in caring for your pets and home when you are away — with the most respect possible. There’s enough evil in the world, we don’t need any more, and I refuse to contribute to it. You should also be aware that I have a resident cat. Depending on whether or not your pet is amenable to this or not, I have the luxury of taking my resident cat to my adult daughter’s house for her to care for if your pup would prefer. So, I’m pretty flexible in this regard. In any case, I am a big fan of the Rover app and have had many wonderful experiences through this platform, boarding and housesitting pets, and I advocate for several other pet sitters on the app whom I personally know. I haven’t heard of any bad experiences from these friends yet. I hope you find the right fit for yours and your pets needs, and I’ll hope to make your acquaintance soon. Blessings to you and yours! 🙌🏼🐶🥰 I have one part-time job — I work in ministry 28 hours a week giving Bible studies to clients, mostly in-home, but the hours are flexible and able to be moved around if needed. This means that pet care is an easy integration in my schedule because I’m able to come home often to let pets out throughout the day. I want to be clear, however, as I’ve had this issue in the past, if you expect me to be home 24/7 with your pet, I cannot accommodate that request. I’m home more often then most, yes, but not continuously all day, every day. I have a decent backyard to walk pups in, and love to take dogs on walks in the evening, even in the cold, which I actually prefer over hot. I will say that I cannot handle overnight stays in a client’s home without A/C in warm weather.
About: I love my little doggie and I’ll love on yours like they’re mine! I can snuggle with your dog if that’s their thing, or take them on walks around my neighborhood! I have some experience with special needs as my first rescue doggie was one-eyed and then had to have his remaining eye removed due to glaucoma and cataracts. I have experience doing eye drops and pet meds, as well as accommodating dogs with limited vision. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos as I know I love those updates when I’m away. Dogs are family and I’ll take great care of yours! Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. I’m currently working part time, so I will have flexibility in caring for your dog and can talk with you to learn more about your dog’s typical schedule. I have a backyard that works well for small dogs and I am happy to do walks if that’s what your dog needs! I do have two kids who are great and very gentle with our special needs dog.
About: Carol is the professional dog trainer specializing in Reactive Aggressive Dogs. She made it her mission to find the solution for her dog, and as a result, she now has an extensive "toolbox" of training techniques. The main tools are love and treats but sometimes discipline and/or consequences are needed. Dogs love to please, and she loves to help on that path to happiness. Carol is the owner of a 56,000-member dog Facebook group. Carol & Brian both work from home and have years of experience with pets. They want you and your pet to feel like a stay with them is like a family camp where they can play in the big grassy yard, wrestle in the house and lounge on the couch or cool floor. They are very capable dog walkers and caregivers. They provide regular photo updates, and you can inquire at any time. Clients love that they offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times. Since we are self-employed and work from home, we set our own schedule. We take numerous breaks from our work to give belly rubs, throw balls, take walks, teach tricks, treat and feed, and provide numerous photos, among other things. You can inquire at any time. We can provide great flexibility with drop-off and pick-up times. We have almost a half-acre of mostly flat, open grass lawn that is fenced with 6-foot pickets. Inside, the layout of our home allows us to provide 3 spacious, separate areas to keep the dogs separated when needed. Our cat is now an outdoor cat most of the time.
About: I have always had a passion for animals. Family and friends depend on me to take care of their animals when they go out of town on vacation or business. I able to adjust my schedule accordingly to your animals needs and care due to my work schedule being flexibility during the weekdays and weekends. I provide all animals their needs and care including providing food, fresh water, and taking dogs for walk. Most important giving animals love and care.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life. Soon enough I started getting pet sitting gigs from friends and family. From elderly dogs to 5 week old kittens I love and cherish every moment with them making sure they get all my love and attention. I’m currently waiting to hear back from jobs so I have all the time in the world currently. So if you need a pet sitter I’m available! I have two skittish cats in my home so I sadly cannot take care of pets in my home. When it comes to clients animals I make sure they are comfortable with me and give them the attention they want. I available for long walks and lot of play time outside.

About: I’m very familiar with different dogs, good with sensitive tummies and higher-energy leveled dogs, learned from a German shepherd. Good at giving meds and watching food portions and keeping a crazy puppy focused on the task at hand. I know how to be attentive, adaptable and firm, depending on your fur baby’s needs. I am currently a college student, so I can put time for your fur babies between classes, whether it be feeding or walks, and I am super flexible depending on your needs. I can be where you need me to be and give your animal its deserved time. While I do not do pet boarding, as I stay in dorms, I like to communicate with the owner beforehand to know what’s to expect and I also keep the house clean, so you don’t come back to hair or anything all over the carpet. I give walks all in neighborhoods and love to go to parks for dogs and let them run in fenced areas.
About: I love caring for pets of all kinds. Not to mention dog (and cat!) cuddles are one of my favorite things in the world. I currently have two adorable kitties 😸 I have a part time job cleaning houses with a lot of time flexibility and will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I'm very active and am excited to run around the city and parks with your dogs, or go on a chill walk if thats more the pace. If there's a particular place they love to go please let me know! I'm happy to offer a further reduced rate for extended and weekly walk or drop in bookings so feel free to message if that's something you need. I believe in a loving and clear relationship with dogs; holding consistent boundaries with lots of praise and love for good behavior. As pack animals, loving discipline helps dogs feel secure about their place in the pack and clear in what behavior is desired. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon! I have a very open and flexible schedule which means your pets will get lots of time, attention and love from me. Plenty of time for walks and play. I am happy to do whatever is needed to help keep your pets safe and well cared for, and put your mind at ease. Just ask!
About: I am very tentative to health needs because that is what I have a background in for my education. I have a bachelors in biology and am looking to go into health care eventually. I know the importance of attentiveness towards critical care and alertness to when situations might be looking off. I pride myself in my organization, independence, and competence to complete most any task put my way even when it requires learning how to do it for the first time. I usually can be found studying throughout the day. I work a small gym job in the mornings for an hour, coach on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 till 8PM and then I work longer nights on Fridays and Saturdays at a restaurant (typically starting at 5PM and finishing around 10PM). I typically stay at people's houses or drop-in (depending on your need). In my 6 years of experience, I have house-sat/pet-sat/walked for over 17 different families, some, more than once and/or on a regular basis.
About: I have been pet sitting, and dog walking for many years. I use to house sit as well, but with two little ones I decided to stay to my home and go for quick visits to peoples homes. I take pride in caring for each animal I have in my home, and other people homes. They get spoiled rotten just like my own animals. I myself have three dogs of all different sizes, and a few rabbits as well for showing and my daughter for 4H. I have experience with all sorts of animals, Dogs, cats, poultry, rabbits, goats, pigs, and other smaller farm animals. I currently do not have a job so I am open to love on and care for your animals needs.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was young. As well as many farm animals. I just separated from the military and kind of wanting to do something that makes me happy for a while. Which is getting to love on all the fur babies. I can give medicine as I have been treating my pup now for a few years. I can also take them for walks if wanted. My roommate does have two smaller dogs that get along with others. Pretty free schedule can accommodate last minute bookings. As far as the weekly routine if I’m booked I will be with your pups as long as you’d want me there to entertain them. My roommate has two small dogs. They get along with other dogs but mostly just lay around. Would love to discuss house rules before hand, such as are they allowed on the furniture, what are feeding times, do they get crated at night? I would also like to do a meet and greet before as well, that way they have met me and im not just a new person to them while their people are gone.
“I really appreciate her always being on time! My dog loves going on walks and being social, especially on the days when we are so busy with kid activities. She's our precious dog and I'm so happy I have Kari!”

About: Since I was in elementary school I’ve taken care of my neighbors and family pets! I have been known to be loved by every animal I’ve had or been around! Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
