“Merri Anne was wonderful with Nola. We knew when we tried to give her Nola’s bed and she asked if it was ok for Nola to sleep with her that Nola would be in good hands. We would use her again. -Elizabeth”

“Poor David! And poor Ziggy! Our pup got sick over the weekend. (Not the fault of the family; he only ate what we sent.) We were kept informed how he was doing and were able to head home a little early. It's a holiday or we'd be at the vet right now. P.S. Thirty percent is the maximum Rover tip even for above and beyond service!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12, it started with my sister's dog and I've slowly expanded to neighbors and friends loving pets! Im good with knowing their body language so I know how to react appropriately. Im used to long walks with dogs. I make sure the dog is happy. Im a part time photographer so I'm almost always home! I do school online so I won't be gone during the day. I have time for 2-3 walks a day, lots of play time. I have a fenced yard to let them out if it's an emergency or if they just want to run. I take dogs on 2-3 walks a day depending on what the dog wants. I let dogs sleep with me in my bed, I love cuddling on the couch as well. I love playing tug of war. If the dog gets messy while at my house I will give them a bath. If brushing is part of their routine I will gladly do that! I love playing with pets! They will have all my attention unless they want to be left alone.

“Nicole did an amazing job looking after our 2.5-year-old dog during our two-week vacation. He had an abundance of space to run around, plenty of playtime with Nicole's well-mannered dogs, and his daily routine was not impacted in the slightest. I highly recommend Nicole's services and we will definitely book with her again for any future dog sitting needs!”

“Looks like things went great. Our pups were happy and tired out after their stay. Loved the big fenced yard area for the dogs to get out to run and play together.”

“Fantastic experience! Carol and Brian were very accommodating of a short notice request. I felt very comfortable leaving bobbin with them. They sent lots of photo updates and bobbin had a lot of fun playing while he was with them. I picked up a very happy and tired dog. Thanks!”

“Our dog, Theo, had a great time with Nicole and her family! They have a great, big property with tons of room to run. She was very accommodating to our fluctuating schedule. Most of all, Theo was a tired, happy dog when we picked him up from daycare which is all we ask for.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, and even fish! I send regular photo updates, can bathe your pets, walk them, clean your yard, and provide reliable overnight care. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether you need short term or long term help, I’m here to make things easier for you and your furry friends! I am currently working full-time from 3–11 PM at Providence and in the Air Force National Guard, but I can still easily accommodate morning and evening drop in visits, walks, or house sitting checks. My schedule actually aligns perfectly with typical pet routines: I handle early AM visits before my shift starts and late PM/evening ones right after I get off work. I’m very flexible on weekends and off days, and I always prioritize reliable, on time care for your pets! I care for pets in their own home where they feel most safe and comfortable. I follow all instructions carefully, keep their environment clean, and make sure they get love, play, and attention. I always respect your space and treat it like my own, ensuring your pet feels secure while you’re away.
About: For over a decade now, I have cared for animals across the range- farm animals, cats, and dogs. All of my pets receive loads of attention and love, no matter the age. Currently I am a college student and an athlete, so my schedule has flexibility for pet care and house sitting during the summer. Aside from a few specific dates, I am available throughout the day and week for whatever services you need. In a clients home I can follow the pet’s normal schedule for walking and feeding, including administering medications. For house sitting, my schedule allows flexibility to visit often and look after plants and pets.
About: Greetings! My name is Tifany, and I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. I’m an experienced sitter, and somehow find myself often accepting interesting duties for unique pets. I’ve given injections, medicines, and even haircuts to animals. I do my very best to love on your fur-babies the way that you want them to be loved, even the hard-to-love ones. I am reliable, trustworthy (because I fear God), and accommodating. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little ones, and you, as happy as can be! If boarding your pet is your preference, you should know that I do have a smaller apartment; two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and bathroom, but small. I’ve found that some people want a little more space for their really big, multiple dogs. That’s okay, you should just be aware. But I’m also near a large college campus and it works well for walking your dogs with a lot of open space and plenty of plush, green grass. I also prefer to meet at a public space before meeting at my home — I’ve found that accepting a job must go both ways for your safety and for mine. If we decide that I should stay at your house while looking after your pets, you should know that I live as if you have cameras in every room, (except the bathroom, of course), because to me, God is with me and sees all anyway. It’s important to me that you know that this is my point of view in caring for your pets and home when you are away — with the most respect possible. There’s enough evil in the world, we don’t need any more, and I refuse to contribute to it. You should also be aware that I have a resident cat. Depending on whether or not your pet is amenable to this or not, I have the luxury of taking my resident cat to my adult daughter’s house for her to care for if your pup would prefer. So, I’m pretty flexible in this regard. In any case, I am a big fan of the Rover app and have had many wonderful experiences through this platform, boarding and housesitting pets, and I advocate for several other pet sitters on the app whom I personally know. I haven’t heard of any bad experiences from these friends yet. I hope you find the right fit for yours and your pets needs, and I’ll hope to make your acquaintance soon. Blessings to you and yours! 🙌🏼🐶🥰 I have one part-time job — I work in ministry 28 hours a week giving Bible studies to clients, mostly in-home, but the hours are flexible and able to be moved around if needed. This means that pet care is an easy integration in my schedule because I’m able to come home often to let pets out throughout the day. I want to be clear, however, as I’ve had this issue in the past, if you expect me to be home 24/7 with your pet, I cannot accommodate that request. I’m home more often then most, yes, but not continuously all day, every day. I have a decent backyard to walk pups in, and love to take dogs on walks in the evening, even in the cold, which I actually prefer over hot. I will say that I cannot handle overnight stays in a client’s home without A/C in warm weather.
“Jennifer has been an incredible help to me as I’m navigating the challenge of a very large and very untrained rescue St. Bernard. She has been patient and consistent and in a few short weeks her drop ins have gone from seeing Cujo to Beethoven. I am thrilled with the breakthrough she’s made gaining the trust of my poor formerly abused pup and am so confident in being able to get some semblance of my life back knowing that she’s in great hands with Jennifer! :)”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life. Soon enough I started getting pet sitting gigs from friends and family. From elderly dogs to 5 week old kittens I love and cherish every moment with them making sure they get all my love and attention. I’m currently waiting to hear back from jobs so I have all the time in the world currently. So if you need a pet sitter I’m available! I have two skittish cats in my home so I sadly cannot take care of pets in my home. When it comes to clients animals I make sure they are comfortable with me and give them the attention they want. I available for long walks and lot of play time outside.
About: Carol is the professional dog trainer specializing in Reactive Aggressive Dogs. She made it her mission to find the solution for her dog, and as a result, she now has an extensive "toolbox" of training techniques. The main tools are love and treats but sometimes discipline and/or consequences are needed. Dogs love to please, and she loves to help on that path to happiness. Carol is the owner of a 56,000-member dog Facebook group. Carol & Brian both work from home and have years of experience with pets. They want you and your pet to feel like a stay with them is like a family camp where they can play in the big grassy yard, wrestle in the house and lounge on the couch or cool floor. They are very capable dog walkers and caregivers. They provide regular photo updates, and you can inquire at any time. Clients love that they offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times. Since we are self-employed and work from home, we set our own schedule. We take numerous breaks from our work to give belly rubs, throw balls, take walks, teach tricks, treat and feed, and provide numerous photos, among other things. You can inquire at any time. We can provide great flexibility with drop-off and pick-up times. We have almost a half-acre of mostly flat, open grass lawn that is fenced with 6-foot pickets. Inside, the layout of our home allows us to provide 3 spacious, separate areas to keep the dogs separated when needed. Our cat is now an outdoor cat most of the time.
About: I love caring for pets of all kinds. Not to mention dog (and cat!) cuddles are one of my favorite things in the world. I currently have two adorable kitties 😸 I have a part time job cleaning houses with a lot of time flexibility and will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I'm very active and am excited to run around the city and parks with your dogs, or go on a chill walk if thats more the pace. If there's a particular place they love to go please let me know! I'm happy to offer a further reduced rate for extended and weekly walk or drop in bookings so feel free to message if that's something you need. I believe in a loving and clear relationship with dogs; holding consistent boundaries with lots of praise and love for good behavior. As pack animals, loving discipline helps dogs feel secure about their place in the pack and clear in what behavior is desired. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon! I have a very open and flexible schedule which means your pets will get lots of time, attention and love from me. Plenty of time for walks and play. I am happy to do whatever is needed to help keep your pets safe and well cared for, and put your mind at ease. Just ask!
About: I have always had a passion for animals. Family and friends depend on me to take care of their animals when they go out of town on vacation or business. I able to adjust my schedule accordingly to your animals needs and care due to my work schedule being flexibility during the weekdays and weekends. I provide all animals their needs and care including providing food, fresh water, and taking dogs for walk. Most important giving animals love and care.
“Shae had a great time with Andreanna. She was great about handling a very intense herding breed and Shae came back relaxed and cheerful! She was also great about adapting to a busy and challenging neighborhood environment. Would 100% book with her again.”

About: I’m very familiar with different dogs, good with sensitive tummies and higher-energy leveled dogs, learned from a German shepherd. Good at giving meds and watching food portions and keeping a crazy puppy focused on the task at hand. I know how to be attentive, adaptable and firm, depending on your fur baby’s needs. I am currently a college student, so I can put time for your fur babies between classes, whether it be feeding or walks, and I am super flexible depending on your needs. I can be where you need me to be and give your animal its deserved time. While I do not do pet boarding, as I stay in dorms, I like to communicate with the owner beforehand to know what’s to expect and I also keep the house clean, so you don’t come back to hair or anything all over the carpet. I give walks all in neighborhoods and love to go to parks for dogs and let them run in fenced areas.

“I really appreciate her always being on time! My dog loves going on walks and being social, especially on the days when we are so busy with kid activities. She's our precious dog and I'm so happy I have Kari!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was young. As well as many farm animals. I just separated from the military and kind of wanting to do something that makes me happy for a while. Which is getting to love on all the fur babies. I can give medicine as I have been treating my pup now for a few years. I can also take them for walks if wanted. My roommate does have two smaller dogs that get along with others. Pretty free schedule can accommodate last minute bookings. As far as the weekly routine if I’m booked I will be with your pups as long as you’d want me there to entertain them. My roommate has two small dogs. They get along with other dogs but mostly just lay around. Would love to discuss house rules before hand, such as are they allowed on the furniture, what are feeding times, do they get crated at night? I would also like to do a meet and greet before as well, that way they have met me and im not just a new person to them while their people are gone.
About: I have been surrounded by pets of all ages and sizes for as long as I can remember. I have experience taking care of family, neighbor’s, and friend’s pets, ranging from small frenchies to full-grown Berneses. My family has owned larger, more energetic dogs since I was young, giving me experience with hyper and reactive pets as well. I absolutely love all pets and I can’t wait to meet and care for yours! I am currently back home from college for summer break, giving me plenty of time to care for your furry friends. My hours and days are extremely flexible! The health and safety of your pet is my top priority. I am careful about tending to the needs and different preferences of each pet and I give every pet my full attention. I take the responsibility of caring for your pet very seriously.
About: I've been a dedicated dog owner for the past six years and grew up surrounded by a variety of pets. My experience includes caring for puppies, large breeds, reactive dogs, and administering medications when needed. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and my belief that dogs thrive when they have consistency, structure, and positive interactions. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and comfort level, and I take the time to build trust with each one. Dogs have always held a special place in my life because of their loyalty, unconditional love, and pure spirit. My goal is to provide safe, dependable walks that keep your dog happy, exercised, and mentally engaged while giving you peace of mind. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. I currently offer dog walking appointments starting on the hour between 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM, with 30-minute or 60-minute walk options available. Reliability and punctuality are important to me, and I work to maintain a consistent schedule that dogs can depend on. Safety is always my top priority. When caring for dogs in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully, maintain secure leash handling, and pay close attention to each dog's behavior, comfort level, and surroundings. I understand the importance of routines and obedience, and I strive to reinforce positive habits during every walk. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, large, or reactive, I provide patient, attentive care to help them feel safe, comfortable, and confident.
About: With a lifelong love for animals that’s evolved from caring for barn animals to pampering my three young, spoiled cats today. Your pets well-being and happiness will always be my top priority. I’m currently a full-time student with a hybrid schedule so most things I can do from home or my laptop. This give me more flexibility throughout the week. I can be available periodically through the day, mornings and afternoon work the best. However I can do overnight care. I prefer clients home if possible. I would do in-home but currently live in an apartment with limited space and three cats and very little backyard.

About: After moving to Walla Walla, I have cared for my friends’ dogs and cats giving me the fun opportunity of years of experience with pets of different personalities and needs. I also have two amazing dogs of my own, including one who requires special care. This has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how important it is to follow each pet’s individual routine. I treat every pet like family and want them to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I work full-time, but I have some flexibility with my work schedule and can adjust my hours when needed. I’m available for pet care in the evenings, on weekends, and can work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s needs. I understand how important it is for pets to have consistency, attention, and care while their owners are away. With my son raising his own family and my daughter off to college, this gives me a lot of free time before, during lunch, and after work to give cuddles. I will care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, where they are already familiar with their surroundings and routines. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your pets. I will follow your instructions carefully, keep your pets safe and comfortable, and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and love while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are doing well.
