Hello! I come to Rover with over 40 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve spent my entire life around animals, and for over 30 years (beginning as a volunteer at age 14 with my local wildlife museum), I’ve worked hands-on with animals in a variety of settings. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love and feel deeply connected to. Every pet has their own personality, routines, and little quirks, and taking the time to understand what makes each one feel safe, comfortable, and happy is what makes me an exceptional pet sitter. Whether it’s keeping up with your furry family member's familiar routines (such as going for walks, play, and mealtimes) or simply offering calm companionship in whatever form that takes, I cater to each pet individually so they feel as at ease as possible while you’re away. My background in nursing makes me comfortable administering most medications—including pills, injections, and specialized treatments—with confidence and ease. I always follow your care instructions and often take pictures or videos at our meet-and-greet to refer back to later as well. (I can also do more than one meet-and-greet if necessary for an additional cost based on time and driving distance.) In addition to practical care, I bring a grounded, gentle presence and am certified in animal Reiki, which can be especially comforting for anxious or high-energy pets. I also treat your home with the same respect and care I give your pet so that you can return to a calm, tidy space and a happy companion. I currently have a very flexible schedule that can be adapted to a variety of needs, including caring for birds, rodents, reptiles, and more, ensuring I can meet your pet's unique needs.
