“Dennis was so sweet to our two dogs, Jack & Hazel for drop in visits! He even brought one of his grand daughters over to help give them pets and love :) Reasonable rate & great in - app communication. Will book in the future.”

“Mackenzie was so great with Ohlee. She was so patient and understanding with her needs as an older less friendly dog. She considered every tip I gave her making Ohlee the most comfortable she could possibly be while providing the best care. Mackenzie was also quick to think up solutions to ensure Ohlee was able to live her best life while I was away. We will definitely be using Mackenzie in the future, she is the absolute best.”

“Heather was great with drop in care for our pups. Even got them out for a walk which was great! Prompt communication and great meet and greet. High recommend, will book with her again for our next trip”

“Angela is wonderful! She loves on our cat and our cat loves right back at her. The fact that our cat responds so positively just tells me Angela is an attentive care giver. This was a repeat booking.”

“She was so fantastic. I felt comfortable the entire 5 days away. I knew they were in good hands judging from all the pictures I received from every visit. I'll certainly hire her again the next time I'm away! Handled my two Dalmatians with ease & grace! Koodos!! THANK YOU ANDREA!”

“Part of me wants to keep Megean a secret because she is so fantastic, I don't want to share. However, after having her take care of our furry little kids many, many times, I can say that you really do not need to consider anyone else if you want the best. I say that with zero hesitation and a huge amount of appreciation to her and her husband for the peace of mind they give us when we are out of town. Megean...you guys are amazing.”

“My cat and I love Lexie! I am already planning to schedule her again! She's kind and thoughtful, sends great notes, really cares about the animals and does whatever is needed. Great judgement!”

About: I’ve grown up with animals since I was five and have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I’ve helped raise three puppies, so I’m comfortable with training basics, routines, and high-energy care, as well as providing gentle, attentive care for older dogs. I truly love animals and treat every pet like my own. I play volleyball at The university of Central Missouri - down in Warrensburg I have lots of free time to help take care of your babies! Whenever I’m home from break, in KC, I have loads of free time and would love to take care of your pets! I have experience with crating animals, grooming, feeding medicines, etc. I love to walk dogs and get exercise with them! I am comfortable spending the night at others homes and bringing dogs to my house if needed! I do have three dogs and one cat right now!

“Casey was great I’ll use her again. The only complaint I have is the Rover app is not user friendly to me. It had me keep going back to do insurance and so many places for each day and hr of the day to specify everything. I’m glad for the service Rover supplies and we need but they need to simplify in this day and age things should be easy not hard going forward. Life is hard enough”

“Anabeth was a very good cat sitter for my Molly, sending pictures daily of her playing and very sure to tell me when she had a concern for her! I would recommend her and definitely will be using her in the future when I need to go out of town!”

“Marlee is fantastic! She went above and beyond in taking care of our husky, Murphy, and our two guinea pigs. She was extremely communicative, and it's clear she loved on our pets as if they were her own. We would love to have Marlee take care of our pets again, and I am definitely recommending her to my friends.”

“Thank you Carolyn for taking such wonderful care of Gracie during my surgery. The loving kindness and attentive care that you gave her kept her so happy and secure while we were away. You are absolutely the best! Thank you for what you do for our precious fur babies,!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Waldron. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
