“She took great care of my kitties, super attentive and wrote detailed descriptions for each visit. I loved seeing the photos and funny descriptions. If I need to book another flight soon, I will for sure ask Mackenzie again! Thank you so much!!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for quite sometime and even have experience with giving dogs pills as well. I’m willing to not only stay and house sit but ensure the animals have a good time. I work part time and have a lot of gaps in my day for side jobs. I live an active lifestyle so there’s no such thing as too many walks or too much playing! I make sure water is full all the time and food arrives on time with no fuss. I can easily pick up after any animals ensuring a clean lawn as well as a clean home. No pet goes unloved!
“Marianne was absolutely delightful at our meet and greet, and the gang 🐾 loved her from the start! The pics each visit felt very personal, and I knew my babies were in good hands!”

“Megean and her husband loved and took great care of both our cats! We looked forward to the twice daily updates and photos they provided. Our “shy”/not-always-friendly cat Charlie warmed up to them instantly= they are great with cats!!”

“Heather was wonderful to our kitty while we were on vacation! She sent thoughtful updates with lots of photos daily and took extra care to make our temperamental kitty feel comfortable. We’ll be using her in the future!”

“Heather was great with drop in care for our pups. Even got them out for a walk which was great! Prompt communication and great meet and greet. High recommend, will book with her again for our next trip”

About: I grew up on a farm, so I’ve always had animals/pets in my life. I’ve owned everything from small dogs to big dogs and cats. I’m a teacher so all pet care will have to be in the evening after school. I typically will finish the school day at 3:30. I own two cats and provide them with safe home environment with plenty of enrichment. I will make sure that your pet is well taken care of and they’ll have a fun time too.
“Jenna was absolutely incredible! Super friendly, sent lots of photos, always made sure their food was full and their litter was clean. Gave constant updates which was deep appreciated as someone who is an anxious cat mom!”

About: Growing up I do not remember a moment that my family did not have an animal in our household. I used to always want to spend my time with animals and always had that option. My mom was just as obsessed with animals as I was. There was a point in time that we had two cats and five dogs in the household. I love the connection that people can build with animals and the care that there is for each other. With all of these animals in our house, I got pretty accustomed to washing, feeding, walking, playing, etc with them. My stepdad bought a Rottweiler puppy when I was a teenager, so I was able to watch how he trained the dog and the phases they go through as puppies. Although, I do not own an animal of my own at the moment, I always enjoyed the times when my life had an animal in it. I would greatly enjoy to help others contribute to taking care of their animals with the extra time I have. I currently work part-time as a server with a flexible, open schedule. I would love to spend my free time giving love to all animals. I have a schedule that would allow me to be available to give care to your animals with walks, attention, feeding, and much more! Currently, I live in an apartment complex that does allow pets, but do not have any of my own at the moment. I have dog sat my family's animals for over the past few years, dealing with multiple dogs at once, cats, senior dogs. I would love to expand beyond my family's animals.
“Emily was great with our dogs! One of our dogs is epileptic and takes multiple medications a day so we wanted to make sure we have someone who has experience in administering the meds. Emily took photos of our pups every time she checked in. They both looked happy every time! My husband said that when he got home from work both dogs ignored him and were looking around for Emily lol. We will definitely book Emily again!”

“Rebecca is first class! She’s the only sitter my anti-social kitty warmed up to, ever. She took excellent care of my boy, which made me very happy and able to enjoy my vacation. I have had other sitters, but Rebecca is definitely the best!”

“Shelby is amazing and went above and beyond for our old kitty! She made extra time to make sure she got her meds even when our cat was putting up a protest and took the time to play and hang with her. She even watered our plants without us asking! Highly recommend and will definitely ask Shelby to sit again!”

“Olivia went above and beyond for our two pets, even making an extra visit a couple of times to make sure they were okay. I highly recommend her. She treats your pets like her own.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
