We totally trust Heather will our 2 pups. She is very dependable and our guys love her. Besides walking them she takes some time after the walk to hang out with them before put them back in their kennels. Definitely recommend her

About: Growing up my mom was a pet sitter for rover and I always enjoyed getting to go with her to take care all the cute pets. I have always had at least 2 dogs in my home so I have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs of all different ages. I also love running and going on long walks so if your dog(s) is/are getting a little chubby or just loves to get outside I would be more than happy to take them on a walk or run. I hope that I get to care for your cute dog(s)! I work part time so I do have some time in the afternoons on most weekdays. on the weekends I am pretty much completely free. I am going to college soon so in the future I may be less available on the week days. I am able to take your dog on walks or runs wherever you would like. Im a pretty active person so I can help to keep your dog active as well.

Kate was awesome and kept me up to date on everything as she took my Siberian Husky for a walk. He tends to pull on a leash and even saw some deer while Kate was walking him and she kept control and had a nice walk with him. I will be using Kate plenty of times for walks in the future. You should to!

Dennis has done a great job winning the trust of my dogs. They are not used to strangers and he was so patient to build a good relationship. It is such a relief to be away and know they are getting a good walk in. I’m very grateful to have found Dennis on Rover.

About: I have been in the animal field since I was 16, completing a veterinary assistant program during high school. During Covid, I helped my aunt foster 3 rescue beagles as well as caring for her other two dogs. Since then, I have worked at multiple doggy daycare and boarding facilities and have pets of my own! I work 6am to 6pm every Tuesday-Friday so ideally, I’d need flexibility on drop-in visits for those days, but I have open availability on the weekends + Monday I am currently only providing drop-in visits which means your pet/s will stay in the comfort and safety of their own home. I always do meet n greets where the pet will be staying.

About: Dogs and cats have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, since I was a very young kid. I have also grown up around fish, birds, gerbils, and Guinea pigs. I worked in a vet clinic for several years during high school and college, so giving medications orally or injection is no problem. I also bottle raised 3 kittens when I was 11 years old and another one when I was working at the vet until it was old enough to be adopted! I currently have two dogs of my own, and a rambunctious kitten. I do have a full time job so my availability is mostly limited to my days off on the weekends. I could be available occasionally during the week later in the evenings ( around 6pm-9pm) , and additional days through out the year when I have vacation scheduled and no plans. Fridays, Saturday’s , and Sunday’s I’m fairly flexible and free. I will care for your pets and home as if they were my own. Dogs will be supervised even if they are in a fenced yard. I encourage and appreciate detailed instructions on all of your pets needs.

About: Hi! I’m a retired student-athlete finishing my master’s at OU. I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love spending time outdoors. I’d be so excited to care for your pets as if they were my own! I have experience with dogs of all ages — from tiny 8-week-old pups to sweet senior dogs. I’m active and love going on walks, whether it’s with my roommate’s dog, my best friend’s dog, or hopefully yours next! I’m an early riser who loves starting the day with some fresh air and a good walk! I’m available most mornings until about noon, and again after 5 p.m. Wednesdays are wide open for me, so I’m available all day. On weekends, I’m free early in the morning through noon, and then again from 5 p.m. into the evening. I’d love to spend that time hanging out with your pup! I love spending quality time with animals, whether that means playing fetch outside, going for walks, or relaxing on the couch together. I truly just enjoy being around dogs and making them feel happy and loved. I’m also very punctual and responsible when it comes to feeding schedules, walks, and bathroom breaks, you can count on me to care for your pet like they’re my own.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Waldron. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Waldron.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Waldron. On Rover:

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
