I work full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week and my other 4 days I love having something to do whether that is going on walks, popping in to make sure dogs have everything they need and having potty breaks. During drop ins or walks I like to follow the owners instructions carefully so that each pet can maintain their normal routines and reduce stress. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.

Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or visiting them in their home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for. My home has a fenced-in yard, giving dogs a safe space to enjoy some outdoor time and play. I’m also happy to follow each pet’s individual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any special instructions. About: Hi! I’m Rachel! I’ve been a dog person my entire life and have been watching dogs since I was 11. I have two dogs of my own, Wesley and Wally, and dogs truly are my best friends. 🥹🐾 I know how important it is to find someone you completely trust with your pup, so I’ll treat yours just like my own, with lots of love, patience, attention, cuddles, and playtime. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities and needs, including giving medications, following specific routines, and providing extra support when needed. Dogs are already a big part of my everyday routine, so caring for another pup fits right in! I love having a dog around to keep me company while I work, and I’m able to give them plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. We have a spacious, fully fenced-in yard where the pups can safely run around and get some energy out, plus my two friendly dogs, Wesley and Wally, who love having a friend around! I’m also happy to accommodate whatever makes your pup feel most comfortable. If they’re crate trained and prefer their crate, we can absolutely do that. We even have a spare bedroom that can be their own little space if they’d rather have some quiet time away from the other dogs. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and at home here.
