Our cat, is normally mad when I leave even for work and will hide in response but when we arrived home, he happily greeted us. Even funnier, as we settled in for the night, our dog came out lookong for him, and we know exactly where he sat because he went to that spot, sniffed around and settled there as if he was waiting for him to come back. It was very sweet and we were touched and comforted by that display (our dog normally sticks to my son when he's home). We will absolutely ask him to sit again when the need arises.
