“Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. We appreciate her loving them like her own and will definitely use her services again if in the area with the pups! About: I’ve gained experience the last few years in taking care of our German Shepherd, Luna and sweet kitty, Cookie! I always dog sit for friends when they’re out of town and I’ve learned how to give pills to dogs. One of my friend’s dogs has allergy problems and has to take pills for it, so she had to teach me how to do that. I love playing fetch and taking dogs on walks! I also wouldn’t mind giving your dog a bath (or taking him/her to the pet store to bathe them there!). Feel free to message me with any questions you might have! About: Dogs have been part of our life forever, and now we share our adventures with our playful 2.5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog! We’re pros at beach zoomies, exploring trails at John’s Island County Park, and playing with our friends at the dog park. Your furry friend will be treated like part of the pack—playtime, snuggles, and endless tail wags guaranteed! Your dog(s) can have their own separate comfortable suite in our home or can mingle and play as much as they'd like with our pup, whichever you/they prefer! Conveniently located on your way to Kiawah/Seabrook Island, we are here to make your time away from home comfortable and convenient! We have a unique living situation where we live above the bicycle shop we own so one of us will be “home” most of the days. Our schedules aren’t consistent but if we aren’t “home” running the shop, we won’t be away from home for longer than 3 hours at a time. In our home, pets are treated like family, and every day is a new adventure! The mornings always kick off with fetch in our yard. While we’re in the process of building a fence, our yard is tucked away off the road, next to a quiet driveway leading to a storage facility—plenty of space to play safely! Our dog (and yours, if you’re comfortable) then heads to work at the bicycle shop, where she’s the official greeter and mood booster, soaking up love from coworkers (furry ones and human ones) and guests. Midday breaks are all about chasing tennis balls and soaking in extra snuggles. After work, the real fun begins! We head to John’s Island County Park’s dog park or Beachwalker Park for epic sunset zoomies on the beach. Your pup will enjoy endless playtime, love, and adventure with us—it’s a tail-wagging good time every single day! Your dog(s) can join in on all the fun with the other pups and people or can be kept separate while still being comfortable, getting lots of play, and all the love they need!

About: I am a teacher who LOVES animals, especially dogs. They will be treated like my own and will be in a safe and very comfortable environment. I tend to spoil them a bit. My home is very clean, non-smoking, and your dogs will have free reign of the house as long as they are completely house trained/potty trained. If not (puppies), I love to help train them and they could either stay in a comfortable crate while I am away or at work or in an enclosed play pen if they are larger than my crate. I have 2 pugs, Bentley & Bruiser. Bruiser is 9, and Bentley is 2. Both are sweet and love other dogs. Feel free to contact me with any questions! I’m a teacher and about to be off for the summer, so my schedule is pretty flexible for drop ins or walks. I’d be willing to have one more (well-behaved, house broken, and friendly) medium or small sized dog stay in my home for overnight visits. I have a very clean, smoke-free home, where my pets have free reign of the entire house, even while I am out. If your dog is well trained, they would be free to roam, sleep on the couch, etc. My neighborhood is perfect for long walks and I usually take my pups on about a mile long walk every day.

About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals, and nothing makes me happier! I work with horses professionally, and have also raised, fostered, and trained puppies and kittens. We love big dogs, small dogs, many dogs, any dog! I’ve taken dogs on roadtrips across the country, on horseback rides, on boats and kayaks, and countless adventures! My partner and I suddenly find ourselves without a dog of our own, so we would love to welcome yours into our home. We have a safe, comfortable, child-free, single story house with a doggie door onto a screened in porch and a fenced in yard. We live on a cul-de-sac with awesome neighbors and several wonderful pups, so if your dog is social they can make many friends! And if they’re not, our backyard is fenced and private. We’re more than happy to have them on our couches and beds (as long as that’s allowed at home) and we also have a crate if that’s where they feel safe! We are comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, or anything in between, and I have basic veterinary skills that allow me to administer oral medications as well as intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as needed. My partner works from home, and I am currently between seasonal jobs, so our lives are well suited to revolve around pets! We have a doggie door that leads to our fenced in yard, so dogs can take themselves out as they like, and cats can access the screened in porch. I also love taking walks through our neighborhood, which has safe streets as well as wooded trails and access to several creeks if anyone wants to swim! The cul-de-sac is also perfect for throwing a ball or frisbee, if your dog is into that kind of thing. We spend most evenings at home snuggled up on the couch, which has plenty of room for four legged guests (: Our home is safe and child-free, and (unfortunately) does not currently have any resident pets. We live on a cul-de-sac set far back in our neighborhood and have access to several wooded trails and marsh creeks. We have a dog door that leads to a screened in porch and a fenced in yard, which we have trained dozens of dogs to use over the years. I love taking walks, playing, and curling up on the floor or sofa for snuggles. I am also well trained in the art of giving mindless and continuous scratches. I’ve worked with many types of animals with all kinds of preferences, and I’m always happy to meet them where they’re at!

I really wanted someone we can trust to ensure my 16 year old shitzu is calm and comfortable while we’re away … he’s developed separation anxiety on top of having dementia and is half blind and deaf now and can work himself up into a tizzy when we’re away from the house for more than an hour! About: I worked at Oradell Animal Hospital for over 2 years in the Emergency Room, taking care of the most critical patients in the ICU, along with simple tasks like walking them, feeding them, etc. I recently graduated from college and am officially a New Jersey liscensed Veterinary Technician, along with all of the prior hospital experience! About: Hi, I’m Kiana. I’m energetic, fun, and creative. I love animals and would like to paint them while I’m watching them. I’m a watercolor and acrylic artist and poet. I recently lost a beloved dog of 15 years in our home and life feels a lot emptier without a pet to play with and go on walks. I would be thrilled to meet your pet and give it the love and attention it deserves. During your pet’s stay with me or an overnight visit in your own home, you can expect that I will play with your pets with their favorite toys after taking them out on a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood. You can expect at least 3-4 walks, and photo updates from me. When they seem adequately tired, I’ll take out my watercolor paints and do my best to capture them while they are still. You have the option of purchasing anything you like later. Otherwise, it was still time spent having fun. I look forward to meeting your furry companions. I was new to the process and didn't have any idea of what was going on and I wasn't very keen on the idea of having to leave him with a stranger. The neighborhood was very nice, her home was clean and organized, she had a fenced in yard, twin boys which I am sure my dog loved to be around, and the a sweet weiner dog. My dog has specific feeding and meds, which she accommodated. I didn't want him to be alone when I was gone and picking Kristin was perfect.”

About: I grew up with 2 dogs in the house and got my fur baby 11 years ago. I’ve been taking care of my own and helping other for over 10 years. Love being outside and letting our four legged family members get their much needed play time! Stay at home mom with a flexible schedule to help with walks/potty breaks during the day. Available most weekends to help sit and possible weekdays depending on how long of a stay is needed. I have an 11 year old Shepard mix who loves the company of another fur friend. I also have a medium size dog crate if needed.
