About: I have worked in zoos, wildlife rehabs, and shelters for over 5 years. I am well-versed in operant conditioning training and provided medication to many species including dogs, cats, and birds. My schedule is very flexible, so I can drop by to care for your pet in your home anytime that fits your schedule! I am not available for boarding pets at my home at this time. I am unavailable for long term stays, e.g. longer than two weeks. I always take into account the owner's preferences for their pet. I will adapt to the way you want your pet to be cared for. With my background in the zoo field, working inside specific parameters is how animals get the best care in the way they are used to.

About: For as long as I can remember, I have had dogs and cats around me, most of them pets. But I cared and loved for each and every one of them. My biggest heartbreak was when my dog-soulmate passed. He was my best friend, and I needed to fill the hole. So I started dog walking, something that I have been doing for almost a year and a half now. It has been one of the best things I've ever done(: I get to care for and play with all sorts of puppies, while also getting to relax and enjoy my own time as well (because caring for dogs is more fun than work). And I love the feeling of excitement I receive from dogs when they see me (: I am a part-time student and a stay at home mom, so I am home quite a bit to be able to care for animals. In my home, we just treat your fur babies like one of our own. We give them lots of attention, play time, walk time, etc. I also incorporate your schedules with ours (ie feeding, etc). If there are any special requests, I do my best to fulfill those. When I go to clients home, I try to respect everything around me and be as gentle and careful as to make sure that the fur babies are comfortable with me in their home.

About: For the past 12 years I've worked as a full time dog walker and pet sitter. Before that I worked as a Vet Assistant for which I went to school for. I was trained on handling pets in stressful situations, prepping and assisting in surgeries, administering medications and injections. I'm available for dog walking and pet sitting Monday through Sunday. I have very open availability and can work with the owners to figure out a schedule that works best for them. I service all of Albuquerque. I do not provide services for Placitas, East Mountains or Rio Rancho, I can provide pet sitting in my home. I can do pet sitting in your home and can go by as often as needed for as long as needed. I do not take my clients dogs to dog parks. I also never allow them off leash nor do I use retractable leashes. I can provide my own leash if necessary.
