About: I've always had a love for animals and have been trusted by family, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances for years to help take care of their babies while they are away. I have past experience working in vet clinics and animal shelters, which has led to general knowledge of animal behavior, as well as experience in medication administration. My schedule is primarily wide open to pet and house sitting, with the occasional weekend away. This allows me to be both flexible and available for your needs. I understand the trust put on me as a caretaker and act with the utmost care and respect towards the homes and animals of others.

About: I was a dog owner for 13 amazing years. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my best friend about seven years ago. Since then, I have found great comfort in caring for others' pets to the best of my ability. I believe in allowing dogs to spend as much time outside as possible through long walks and play sessions in the yard. I also believe that a dog needs mental stimulation in order to be happy, so, if you'd like, I can work with your dog on basic obedience skills and even try and teach them a trick or two! But most importantly, I know dogs need love. Obviously I can't replace you, but I can give them lots of affection until you get home. I make a point to take a walk every day, usually around lunch or right after work (my worst day ends at 4pm) and I'd love to bring your friend along with me! I love being able to spend lots of quality time with your pets when you're away, with lots of cuddles and play time, and maybe a few treats!

About: For as long as I can remember, I have had dogs and cats around me, most of them pets. But I cared and loved for each and every one of them. My biggest heartbreak was when my dog-soulmate passed. He was my best friend, and I needed to fill the hole. So I started dog walking, something that I have been doing for almost a year and a half now. It has been one of the best things I've ever done(: I get to care for and play with all sorts of puppies, while also getting to relax and enjoy my own time as well (because caring for dogs is more fun than work). And I love the feeling of excitement I receive from dogs when they see me (: I am a part-time student and a stay at home mom, so I am home quite a bit to be able to care for animals. In my home, we just treat your fur babies like one of our own. We give them lots of attention, play time, walk time, etc. I also incorporate your schedules with ours (ie feeding, etc). If there are any special requests, I fulfill those needs. When I go to a clients home, I respect everything around me and be as gentle and careful as to make sure that the fur babies are comfortable with me in their home.

About: For the past 12 years I've worked as a full time dog walker and pet sitter. Before that I worked as a Vet Assistant for which I went to school for. I was trained on handling pets in stressful situations, prepping and assisting in surgeries, administering medications and injections. I'm available for dog walking and pet sitting Monday through Sunday. I have very open availability and can work with the owners to figure out a schedule that works best for them. I service all of Albuquerque. I do not provide services for Placitas, East Mountains or Rio Rancho, I can provide pet sitting in my home. I can do pet sitting in your home and can go by as often as needed for as long as needed. I do not take my clients dogs to dog parks. I also never allow them off leash nor do I use retractable leashes. I can provide my own leash if necessary.

About: I have been caring for animal since my childhood and have several of my own. I am a veterinary assistant and am comfortable with animals of all ages and sizes, as well as with responsibilities such as administering medication, walks, special diets, etc. I work and go to school part time. I have the most freedom on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, but can also periodically check on your pet on the other days of the week. I can do overnights as well. I will work with your pets needs whether that is specific feeding times, a walking schedule, or other routines that you and your pet typically do.

About: I've owned and taken care of pets my entire life. Family and friends have relied on me to watch their furkids for many years. I'm semi-retired and have the time and love to look after your pets. I have experience taking care of horses and chickens as well. I am semi-retired and have plenty of time to walk, play with and love on your pets. I love just hanging out and snuggling, or going for long walks. Our yard is completely fenced in, and there are great trails from our house for walking and exploring. We have two small dogs, two cats and two kids under eight. I live with three dogs (two small and one large), two cats, and one bearded dragon. I also have two older children. My house has specific areas for the dogs, and they are crated when I am not home. The cats are free to roam. I have a large fenced backyard with rocks and fake grass. Additionally, I have two extra crates - one for a medium/large dog and one for a small dog. All dogs must be crate-trained and cat-friendly..

About: I started pet sitting for friends and family 6 years ago. Loved being around animals, and began working at a dog boarding facility. I am detail oriented and was placed in charge of the feeding and medication for all the dogs boarding over night. I have handled pets with seizure medication to anxiety medication. I have experience with extremely fearful, anxious, and overly excited pups. I have cared for all breeds, ages, and am comfortable with any size dog. During the time I worked their I also handled doggy daycare and am comfortable watching and reading dog body language when it comes to the interaction of other dogs and people. I worked there for 2 years, and saw many pets that were not a good fit for the boarding environment. I left that business in order to give more devotion to the owners who are looking for attentive personalized pet care. I am a full time college student at unm, but my classes are only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I do work part-time but not on the days I have school. I want open communication, I send daily photos with an update on how they are doing. I can accommodate any special instructions such as a daily brushing or even teeth brushing, as long as the pet is comfortable with me doing it. Pets like sticking to a routine and I want to keep that routine going the best I can while you are gone.
