“We were really lucky to have Monique look after our pup. She’s highly professional, friendly, reliable. Best of all, our pup loved her and we will definitely book Monique again in the future as well as recommend her to all of our friends.”

“Leah is beyond amazing and all my fur babies loved her! She always kept in communication throughout the visits and sent me pictures and videos which made me feel so much better about leaving my babies in such good hands! Thank you Leah !!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including playful puppies, senior dogs, and those who may be anxious or need extra patience. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding routines, basic training reinforcement, and providing calm, attentive care. I focus on creating a safe, loving environment and treat every dog like my own while keeping owners updated and confident in their pet’s care. Pet care fits well into my daily routine. I have classes at UNM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and work only a couple hours on Wednesdays and Fridays, which allows me to plan my availability responsibly and provide attentive, reliable care. I’m organized, communicative, and make sure each pet’s needs are met without feeling rushed. I care for pets by following their usual routines as closely as possible, whether in my home or a client’s home. This includes feeding on schedule, regular walks or playtime, administering basic medications if needed, and providing a calm, safe environment. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort—especially puppies, senior dogs, or anxious pets—and adjust my care accordingly. I also keep spaces clean and send regular updates so owners feel informed and at ease.
“Rachel is prompt and easy to talk to. She pays attention and was really great with our dogs, who are a handful to walk. We will be booking her for pet sitting this month for sure.”

About: I have had cats and dogs around since I was a child. I have been boarding for almost 2 years, and walking/doing check-ins for nearly 8 years. I started out doing walks to help fill my want for pets. But now that I have two of my own, I realized this is something I really love doing and it is always a joy to meet other peoples' fur babies. In my home, I do have one other dog who LOVES to play and gets along with every animal and human he meets. I have a scaredy cat, and a handful of kiddos who I have taught animal etiquette to since they were all babies. We have cared for the smallest dogs to the largest. We have had older dogs, puppies, dogs recovering from surgery, and females in heat (although not at the moment until our puppy is fixed). We love your babies like they are our own, and love to be able to take them with us if we ever go on any adventures while they are here (of course, with permission!) I am a stay at home mom, so I am home the majority of the day to care for any animals in my home. My kids are AMAZING with animals, as I have taught lots of animal etiquette over the years caring for animals -- and now that we have our own fur babies too. In my home, we just treat your fur babies like one of our own. We give them lots of attention, play time, walk time, etc. I also incorporate your schedules with ours (ie feeding, etc). If there are any special requests, I fulfill those needs. When I go to a clients home, I respect everything around me and be as gentle and careful as to make sure that the fur babies are comfortable with me in their home.
“Pogo loved Jennifer. She is so kind and caring and dependable. Pogo is full of life and can be a handful at the door, excited to see Jennifer, and she was able to handle settling him down and getting his harness and leash on easily. He looked forward to her coming to walk him twice a day. I would highly recommend Jennifer to anyone needing someone to assist with dog walking.”

“We’ve been working with Ben for a lot of walks and one several day long pet sit. He’s been awesome. Such cute walk photos, timely, and communicates really well. We’re lucky to have him getting our dogs a little extra love”

About: Hello! I’m Lexi and I am a licensed veterinary technician and a Medaille College graduate from Buffalo, NY. I moved to new mexico to pursue a new job that involves working with a multitude of different animals. I have 6+ years of petsitting alone, along with the testimonials and references as proof🥰. I currently have three furbabies which are two cats and a dog. They are all from the rescue shelter and are living their best lives being spoiled. As you can tell, I am an animal lover and so I can’t wait to meet yours!🩷🐾 I have a full time job being a licensed veterinary technician. My schedule is usually 6:30 to 3 pm Monday through Friday but can vary. 🤷🏻♀️ My fur babies aren’t pet friendly. I prefer to stay the clients house so their animals will be stress free and be provided with the best care.
About: I have been caring for animals since my childhood and have several of my own. I am a veterinary assistant and am comfortable with animals of all ages and sizes, as well as with responsibilities such as administering medication, walks, special diets, etc. I work and go to school part time. I have the most freedom on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, but can also periodically check on your pet on the other days of the week. I can do overnights as well. I will work with your pets needs whether that is specific feeding times, a walking schedule, or other routines that you and your pet typically do.
About: I go by Seven, I was born on a farm, I’ve worked with animals of the farm variety and of course, cats, dogs, and many more sense I was young. Volunteered at animal shelter, vets office, and farm animal facilities. I’m currently a UNM student so all my babies are at home but I plan to have my ESA Rosy join me soon, so I don’t see animals often outside of meeting fellow students pets. I have spent most of my years growing up with and around animals and have a lot of love and experience with them! I have classes T/Th 1-5pm and Fri-8am-noon, but other than that I’m free for any kind of help! I make sure to ask what rules or regulations have to be followed for both pet, home, and routine. I never wanna stress a pet out or an owner so I love to send photos and updates the whole time I’m there as well as make sure everyone is comfortable and happy with the job and care I give.
About: From loving my own corgi, to working at a doggy daycare and training sled dogs in Alaska, I have diverse experiences with animals and I’d love to share my love with your pets too! I work part time with a fairly flexible schedule so I’d love to fill my extra time with taking care of animals and more long walks!! I take my own dog on 2-3 walks per day and she would love to join your pets if they’re friendly! I am happy to accommodate any special needs for your pets.
About: I am a friend to all dogs and cats! I have had pets all my life and love taking care of fur babies. I work from home and am always available for a drop in, daycare, and especially a home for the holidays. I have a friendly small dog and aloof cat in my home . My home has a fenced in yard with plenty of grass for potty breaks. I am also experienced with giving medicine in case your little one has any conditions which require said service. Whether it's going for a long walk around the neighborhood or taking a trip to the dog park, I promise your pets will be happy and safe with me! I work from home as I mentioned so I am available for all of my services anytime. I take my work phone with me so if I need to stop by during business hours, it is perfectly fine! I care for every animal by giving them love and attention. I am the kind of person who enjoys spending time with animals so whether they’re in my home or I go to your home I always enjoy spending quality time with them and making sure they know they are safe and well cared for.

“Kristle did an awesome job checking on and walking both my dogs together. Both of them are strong and my younger dog can be a challenge. She communicates well and sent me pictures. She went above and beyond what I asked. I will certainly be asking her to walk my dogs in the future! ”

Greater Gardner dog parents share their Rover experiences
Greg is a natural dog whisperer. I was reluctant when I first started using Rover, but I knew that I didn’t want to board my dogs every time I left town. My goal was to find a dog walker with the aspirations of finding a house sitter who could stay with our dogs when we travel. Let’s face it, it’s a total stranger and these are my babies and one of my babies is very particular about strangers. That baby happens to be a 200 pound English Mastiff so it’s hard to find people that want to walk him but also that he trusts. Well, it worked! Greg started walking our Mastiff three times a week prior to housesitting and our dog (s) fell in love with him. It was an easy transition. The housesitting was also a success. 🌈 I’m not going to lie, I gulped at first when I saw how much it would cost for the housesitting. However, when I looked at the cost to board 4️⃣ dogs, have them groomed, pay for the extra playtime bc lets face it, they are in a cage and then multiply it by four-I justified it and put faith in the Universe that it would work out. Greg took care of them as if they were his own. He walked each of them twice a day and played with them. We were able to leave the dogs in their environment, with their routine, their food, I could go on and on. Why Greg is so great: ⏰for starters he’s punctual — always on time. 📱 I love that you can see where they walk and he always takes pictures of the dogs while they’re on their walk and sends them to me. 🐕🐶The dogs love him. I’m going to regret weiting this review bc now he is going to be booked liked crazy, but he deserves the shout out!
