About: I have had cats and dogs around since I was a child. I have been boarding for almost 2 years, and walking/doing check-ins for nearly 8 years. I started out doing walks to help fill my want for pets. But now that I have two of my own, I realized this is something I really love doing and it is always a joy to meet other peoples' fur babies. In my home, I do have one other dog who LOVES to play and gets along with every animal and human he meets. I have a scaredy cat, and a handful of kiddos who I have taught animal etiquette to since they were all babies. We have cared for the smallest dogs to the largest. We have had older dogs, puppies, dogs recovering from surgery, and females in heat (although not at the moment until our puppy is fixed). We love your babies like they are our own, and love to be able to take them with us if we ever go on any adventures while they are here (of course, with permission!) I am a stay at home mom, so I am home the majority of the day to care for any animals in my home. My kids are AMAZING with animals, as I have taught lots of animal etiquette over the years caring for animals -- and now that we have our own fur babies too. In my home, we just treat your fur babies like one of our own. We give them lots of attention, play time, walk time, etc. I also incorporate your schedules with ours (ie feeding, etc). If there are any special requests, I fulfill those needs. When I go to a clients home, I respect everything around me and be as gentle and careful as to make sure that the fur babies are comfortable with me in their home.

About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets has always been one of the greatest joys in my life. From dogs and cats to horses, birds, fish, and even ferrets, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my days with so many wonderful animals over the years. Each one has taught me something new about love, patience, and companionship, and I carry that experience with me into every pet I care for. Right now, I share my home with a lively crew—a sweet senior Husky hybrid who’s 15 years old, a playful 7-month-old Cattle Dog, two affectionate cats (one a sprightly senior of 14 years), and a handful of fish who bring calm and beauty to my space. I understand the patience and special attention seniors need, as well as the energy and safe guidance puppies and kittens require as they grow. I love spending time outdoors with pets, going on walks, playing their favorite games, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or prefers quiet snuggles and gentle care, I’ll treat them like one of my own. When your furry (or feathered, or finned!) family members are with me, you can feel confident that they’ll be cared for with warmth, patience, and lots of love. I’m available bright and early in the mornings all the way through the evening for drop-in visits, walks, and check-ins. My regular availability is from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day of the week, weekends included. I understand that every pet and family has different routines, so I’m happy to be flexible and work around the times that suit you best. I’m also available most weekends for house sitting, giving you peace of mind that your pets (and home) are well cared for while you’re away. If there’s ever a time I won’t be available, I’ll always update my schedule in advance so you’ll never be left guessing. My goal is to make things as smooth and stress-free as possible for both you and your pets! I am able to travel throughout the county and city, and I’m comfortable caring for pets in a wide variety of environments, including apartments, houses, farm properties, sidewalks, parks, and outdoor settings. No matter the location, I make it a priority to ensure pets feel secure and cared for in their familiar surroundings. I follow all owner instructions carefully, whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines, or special accommodations. Maintaining consistency is important, and I will make sure your pets’ routines are carried out to your exact standards. While house sitting, I provide ongoing attention and companionship throughout the day, and during walks or check-ins, your pets will always have my full, undivided focus. I ensure that pets have access to fresh water, proper meals, and any other care items they may need. I am also fully comfortable working in all types of weather and terrain, so your pets’ care will never be disrupted by outside conditions.
