Before caring for a pet, I like to know their feeding schedule, personality, favorite activities, exercise needs, medications, allergies, fears/triggers, bathroom routine, and any special instructions from the owner. It is also helpful to know how they interact with other animals and people, what comforts them, and anything that helps them feel more at home.
A typical day
My typical day with pets includes keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. I start with feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, and some playtime or exercise. Throughout the day, I make sure they get attention, enrichment, and plenty of affection while keeping an eye on their behavior and comfort. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away. I like to tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. This can include walks, playing with their favorite toys, practicing basic commands, enrichment games, cuddling, brushing, or simply spending quality time together. For cats, I enjoy interactive play, window time, and keeping them mentally stimulated. For dogs, I enjoy walks, outdoor play, and activities that keep them happy and engaged.

Faris was fantastic! From the moment we met him, it was obvious he genuinely loves animals, and that gave us a lot of confidence leaving Buddy and Sansa in his care. He stayed in constant communication throughout the entire stay, sent updates, asked thoughtful questions when needed, and made it clear he wanted to do everything the right way. His attention to detail and genuine care for our dogs really stood out. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My daughter and i went on a toadtrip to CA to visit potential colleges for about 10 days. I contacted a lot of people on Rover somewhat last minute. Faris was the first to respond! And I am so happy and appreciative that I chose him! He is the absolute best! He's so kind and friendly and professional and funny and totally loves my 2 husky brothers. He's making home-made dog food due to my pups sensitive digestion. He walks them daily if not twice a day when its not too hot. He's house sitting as well and stays with my guys most of the time. He's very aware of protecting them from the heat. He's a great communicator. He listened to me about the dog training Ive dome so he could keep it up while Im away. He sends messages daily with walking pics and others. He often tells me how much he loves my Huskies! I am overjoyed that I found him!! I know without a doubt that my Pups are having the time of their lives! Thank you Faris!!!
