About: I am a reliable and compassionate pet sitter with experience in caring for dogs, cats, and other pets. I can provide in-home pet sitting services, overnight stays, including feeding and walking. My pets and I have a daily routine, and I'm always at home. Every day, we like taking walks, and they may play in my backyard. I'll always make sure your pet is content and feels safe. I reside in a gated community with a sidewalk behind my house, and I have a fenced yard.
“Highly recommend! First time using a dog sitter and Shayna was perfect for my dog. Communication was great and I received updates/photos of my dog throughout the day. Shayna made me feel at ease knowing my dog would be in great care. I would request Shayna again for future doggy day care. Thank you Shayna!”

“Mike was an incredible sitter. My little guy, Walter, took to him because he was so friendly. He gave me updates throughout the day and made sure my dog was walked, fed, and well loved. Would recommend and work with Mike again!”

“Kind, patient, helpful, friendly, professional… Those are just some of the words I would use to describe Holly and Robert. I’m very thankful for their help with my standard poodle.”

“Kevin is an excellent dog watcher! I had to work long hours for over two weeks, and he was extremely flexible with my hours and taking care of my dog. She got plenty of exercise, reliable feeding, etc. I began to refer to Kevin as "Better Daddy" because Astrid was always super excited as we arrived at his house, and she definitely loves being around him! I would use Kevin again without any hesitation, and recommend others do the same.”

About: I have 2 dogs (4 yo husky, 2yo black lab) and a cat (3yo tortie) and like to refer to my house as the Zoo. The more the merrier. Its okay if your dog doesnt do great with cats, the cat stays upstairs and has her own space. I work from home for my day-job as a software engineer, which I mainly started doing because my dogs do not do well when home alone for too long! As more people are being sent back to in-person work I thought I could help some people out who need pet sitting during the day. In addition if you are traveling and need a place for the pup(s) I promise they will have more fun here than at a boarding institution. I have a walled-in yard that my husky hasn't escaped from so it must be solid. Everyone can have as much or as little outdoor time as they want, I monitor constantly to make sure everyone is having a good time. My pets are very friendly, anytime I have another pet over they are very eager to play and interact with them.
“Peter took great care of my high energy black lab Birdie. Birdie and Peter's dog Mia hit it off right from the get go. Would not hesitate to leave Birdie with Peter anytime. Planning her next visit now.”

“Oh how grateful we are to Jody's excellent and sensitive care and support! Our pup had started to have so much anxiety and we were feeling desperate about what to do! Jody is sweet, attentive and caring. You know you've found the right person when your dog runs up to greet her and is so happy to be with her. Jody is the one!”

“Cecilia and family were very kind and understanding of Buffalo’s insecurity being left behind. Her dogs were very kind with my dog and had no issues. She kept in contact with me and sent me pictures that reassured me that Buffalo was comfortable and safe.”

“Kimberly was very patient with Rio, who was very intimidated by her beautiful, big Ridgebacks. Kimberly seemed very willing to let them get acquainted slowly, but Rio was shy and needs more experience with other dogs. Kimberly followed all my instructions for feeding and treats. She has a big yard and a large shaded patio for the dogs. They are able to also go into a big enclosed garage- like space to get out of the heat or cold.”

“Jamie was very friendly and communicated with me during the stay. She has young kids in the home for playtime with my small dog along with a friendly poodle of her own.”

“FANTASTIC!!! If you're looking for a professional, friendly, educated alpha, you need to book through Esperita! She is very quick and responsive to messages. She picks my pup up for me, and sends me a picture msg of my dog, letting me know they made it to her place! She also sends updates with pictures! (LOVE IT!!!) I could tell my hyper GSD had a blast at her place because she's always so tired afterwards! Thanks again Rita for being sooo awesome and caring <3”
“Amazing amazing amazing ! Very amazing communication and stormy absolutely loves her and her daughter ! The space is amazing for pets and love how many updates she gave”

“As I drove up Diane's driveway on the second day of doggie daycare, my dog began barking enthusiastically and wagging her tail. My dog's review is the one that counts and she lets me know in a thousand different ways that she is so happy with Diane. In fact, when I go to pick up my dog from Diane's house, she always wants to spend a more time there. When it comes to finding the best sitter, I've already done the work for you. After attending many meet and greets, I can say with certainty that Diane is the best in Albuquerque. Diane has a great environment for the dogs. She has a large, grassy area outside and lots of shade. She lets the dogs come inside and has crates set up for rest time. When my dog is with Diane, she is learning and good habits are being reinforced. I also feel like Diane loves my dog and is glad that my dog is with her. I get pictures during every stay!”

“Jason is great! My pups love going to his house for daycare. They are older and its always hard to find a place where they are comfortable like they are at home, but they are always excited whenever I drop them off!”

“Sandy and Appa loved their stay with Aijah! Meeting Millie and Leah was also such a treat! I'm sure my pups felt like they were at a pet resort in her home! Especially with all the love, attention and cuddles they received. I was worried a lot of sitters on here didn't take puppies under 6 months but that wasn't an issue at all for Aijah! She helped us keep our crate training consistent and even helped teach Sandy some new tricks! We hope to visit again!”

“Melissa was really easy to communicate with, checked in with me throughout the day with photos and info on how they were doing. Felt very safe with them in her care.”

Northeast Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jody was amazing with our new rescue, Teddy. She was very communicative and worked with us on all of Teddy's quirks like separation anxiety and leash reactivity. Teddy definitely had a fun day full of fun and adventure! We super appreciate Jody working with us on such late notice and for being so kind!

Kevin was able to take my pups last second on a holiday weekend, really saving us in a pickle! He was pretty good about communicating, and as flexible as he could be juggling work and personal schedule to accommodate us. His backyard has a tall wall but a short (waist-high) gate that was no match for my husky. I failed to communicate food issues with Kevin and he handled the situation professionally and with compassion. Both dogs loved him and his family and besides the gate we wouldn't hesitate to book again.
