“I thought Maellen was terrific. A few days before our cruise, Lili, our corgi had to be fitted with "the cone of shame" for a skin condition. I contacted Maellen to see if this would create a problem and offered to find another sitter but Maellen said it would be fine. She treated the skin condition twice a day took excellent care of Lili for the 7 day cruise. Lili obviously had a great time and was in excellent condition. About: I have had cats and dogs around since I was a child. I have been boarding for almost 2 years, and walking/doing check-ins for nearly 8 years. I started out doing walks to help fill my want for pets. But now that I have two of my own, I realized this is something I really love doing and it is always a joy to meet other peoples' fur babies. In my home, I do have one other dog who LOVES to play and gets along with every animal and human he meets. I have a scaredy cat, and a handful of kiddos who I have taught animal etiquette to since they were all babies. We have cared for the smallest dogs to the largest. We have had older dogs, puppies, dogs recovering from surgery, and females in heat (although not at the moment until our puppy is fixed). We love your babies like they are our own, and love to be able to take them with us if we ever go on any adventures while they are here (of course, with permission!) I am a stay at home mom, so I am home the majority of the day to care for any animals in my home. My kids are AMAZING with animals, as I have taught lots of animal etiquette over the years caring for animals -- and now that we have our own fur babies too. In my home, we just treat your fur babies like one of our own. We give them lots of attention, play time, walk time, etc. I also incorporate your schedules with ours (ie feeding, etc). If there are any special requests, I fulfill those needs. When I go to a clients home, I respect everything around me and be as gentle and careful as to make sure that the fur babies are comfortable with me in their home.

About: I have taken care of many rescues and have housed many dogs and cats. I have always been the go to when it comes to watching people’s pets! I also enjoy long walks to the park! I am currently on break from school, and I only work part time in my day job! I am free in the mornings and at nights to assist with animal care! I can stay all day on the weekends and come see them for an early morning walk and be back by 4pm for another walk and some cuddles! I have three senior dogs! They all have arthritis and are very old so I’m not able to take them out for long walks, but I do push them in a wagon so they can get fresh air! About: I’ve dog sat for most of my life, I have a love for all dogs and deeply believe dogs are family and should be treated and cared for as such I currently work full time on the weekends so I am usually off on weekdays and would love some company cuddling on the couch or walks I have a fenced yard and almost a half acre to run around.
