About: I’m 25 years old, I’m currently in the Air Force on my third year. I have 2 cats and 1 puppy and I love them so much. I am a very outdoorsy person, so I love to go on walks and adventures outside. I figured a pet sitter would be an excellent job for me to have while I have free time outside of work. I’ve been around many pets and been taking care of them since I was a little kid. I am so excited to see all the pets I get to work with. I am currently a part-time server. I usually work nights all week excluding mondays and Tuesdays. I am almost always free in the mornings, but am willing to taking time off for specific days 2 weeks in advance. I have a fenced home with an English bulldog to keep your baby in furry company. I have a beautiful deck where your doggies can sun bath in peace. I will always be close by to watch your pets just to keep an extra close eye on them if needed while outside.

About: Hi, my name is Sam. I am in the Albuquerque area and would be happy to help you with your pets. I have tons of experience with animals including volunteering for cat adoption days with PACA, rehoming abandoned animals, petsitting special needs animals, fostering, agility and show dog training, and behavioral training with dogs. I also have a passion for my fish hobby :) due to this app being a little odd with keeping a lot of our pay lets discuss on our own time a good solid plan ahead with your furry friend that way everyone is happy :) I am available in the afternoons up to the early evenings. However, I can make an exception for some early morning check-ins or walks. Just feel free to ask first! Because I work from home, I am more flexible when it comes to extended periods of pet-sitting as long as I have a quiet place to work. Whatever instructions and guidance I am given I am happy to respect and adhere to those rules when it comes to being in someone else's space or if they are coming to my house. In my own home, it is calm, quiet, with a gated area in the back patio with a garden. The animals are free to move about in the house. I do not have a backyard per se but the back patio is a decent size and secure for dogs to do their business and relax for a bit. I do not have animals of my own at the moment.

About: Since a kid I've been surrounded by dogs. I was taught young how to care for and interact with them. While I don't have any sort of specialized skills when it comes to pet care I do have plenty of experience. The majority of my adult life has been spent in the military and security industry. About: I have loves dogs for as long as I can remember. I have three dogs of my own, and have a lot of experience of dog breeding and taking care of their puppies who have all gone to nice homes. I love the animals with all my heart is my dream to become a vet ever, since I was little. I also have a bird who is living a long nice life, taking care of her has shown me how to stick to a schedule and to watch out for any hidden details, since birds hide their sickness well, because of that it has also helped me identify if anything is wrong with my dogs. We have Paisley (9), Olly or Oliver (6), and Pepper (3). They are all extremely kind and do great with other dogs. They are Cavalier, King Charles spaniels. Paisley has had 3 litters and Pepper 2. I work right now at a pet food place and work Tuesdays-Sunday. I work 9:30-6:30 On Tuesday-Friday and then 9:30-4 on Saturday and then 10:30-3:00 on Sundays. Granted, I will have other days off From Monday but it always changes. So just texting and communicating! My shedule can be flexible, I'm good at communication. How I care for my pets is we have a water bowl inside and out, we feed them at very specific times to avoid them gaining to much weight and take them on occasional walks, the backyard is fenced with green grass (besides a patch of dead grass where the dogs have made a path) there’s is plenty of shade in the backyard if your dog tends to get warm easily, but most of the time we keep our dogs inside and have a huge dog bed for all three of them. If your pet requires it we do have dog bowls and I can keep out for your pet. We also have crates if this is something that you want for your pet if I ever offer overnight stay. Our three dogs are extremely playful and friendly and enjoy meeting other dogs. We also have our own grooming station in our garage that we use for our own dogs.

Before we book anything, I’d like to stop by the house and give the critter(s) a chance to get a good look/smell of me and you can give me the lay of the land. Housesitting: I’m being hired to keep the critter(s) company, and that’s what I do. Nana comes to visit and keeping the house safe and the animal(s) safe and happy is my primary duty. My habit is to bring my own supplies, so when you get home, everything is how you left it. I have a ukulele and I sing familiar covers, so I’ll mention it now in case the neighbors mention something about it. (I have yet to have a dog howl as I sang, though the huskies were very talkative.) Drop-In: Depending on our discussion during the Meet & Greet, I will swing by your house according to the schedule we’ve set up. I will make sure the water is fresh and the food bowl has plenty of food. (My job is to make sure the animal(s) know they are being cared for and that they don’t have to stress about whether or not they will starve to death - I’m thinking of cats especially here who see the bottom of the food bowl and start to panic. Not on my watch!) Walk: I’ll be at your house at the time(s) we’ve discussed, put on the collar and leash, and set out on the adventure. My habit is to sing as I walk so that any other critter has a chance to get out of sight - a lesson learned by startling a skunk. It is important that I know if the neighborhood is friendly or if folks keep to themselves. Do(es) the dog(s) visit friends on the trail? or should I keep them on their own?

I have 2+years experience as a shelter volunteer and 1 year experience as doggy daycare attendant. I have worked with dogs and cats various breeds, ages, temperaments and sizes. I've handled various behavioral problems, health problems, and even special needs (visual impairment, hearing impartment, trauma, missing or damaged limbs.)
