“Brigit stayed with my cat, Minnie Muusah, for one night this week and everything seemed to go very well. Minnie is not exactly a social cat. She was traumatized as a kitten and although she has bonded with me, she is not too keen on having anyone else pet her. Brigit was not put off by this and was flexible when I had to make a small change to my travel plans. I'll invite her back the next time I need to leave town. About: Since a kid I've been surrounded by dogs. I was taught young how to care for and interact with them. Since then I've always had pets and made sure they lived the best lives they possibly could. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and temperament, from tiny lap dogs to a 90-pound Labrador, and from bouncy puppies to dogs in their older years. Experience: My deepest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs. My Labrador had a series of health challenges, including three separate leg surgeries. I nursed him through every recovery, which meant walking him with a support sling until he was back on his feet. When he was later diagnosed with cancer, I cared for him through hospice at home — giving his daily medications and keeping him comfortable and loved right to the end. So if your older dog needs medication, a little mobility help, or just extra patience and gentleness, that’s something I genuinely know how to do. I’m just as comfortable with high-energy dogs. That same Labrador was a handful in his younger years, so I know what it takes to keep a strong, active dog happy and well-exercised. I also love puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need. About: Growing up, I had 5 dogs, 2 cats, a couple parakeets, and a bunch of chickens. I started dog walking and sitting in 2014, just helping out my friends and neighbors. Since then, I’ve taken care of dozens of animals, from dogs and cats to lizards and birds. It’s because of this experience that I know you and your pet are unique; reach out today and see if we’re a good fit! Right now I’m getting my Master’s, so am free part-time. I am available during the day Mon/Wed/Fri and the weekends for housesitting. Since I am available for walking/sitting, I will follow your lead on how to approach your home. About: I have taken care of many rescues and have housed many dogs and cats. I have always been the go to when it comes to watching people’s pets! I also enjoy long walks to the park! I am currently on break from school, and I only work part time in my day job! I am free in the mornings and at nights to assist with animal care! I can stay all day on the weekends and come see them for an early morning walk and be back by 4pm for another walk and some cuddles! I have three senior dogs! They all have arthritis and are very old so I’m not able to take them out for long walks, but I do push them in a wagon so they can get fresh air! One of my senior citizens is blind and deaf so having another dog around him might spook him, but I can watch the home and pet for you!😆❤️

All 3 of my dogs have some type of health issue that requires daily medication, they’re on an annoyingly specific diet because my geriatric dog needs the extra inventive to eat regularly, and although they’re sweet they’re a bit wild.
