“Would recommend August to anyone looking for help with their pets. They are caring and professional and can work with those "tricky" pets. One of our dogs is more skittish when meeting new people and they were able to make him feel comfortable. They are also very communicative and provide lots of information so you know your pets are in good hands”

About: I grew up on a farm with multiple dogs and cats, as well as your typical farm animals like horses, cows, pics, sheep etc. I especially love dogs and helped to train our dogs on the farm, as well as my current little Dachshund Obi who is the sweetest little boy. My most recent elderly dog sitting was a 3-week in-home visit that required a lot of physical assistance, as well as administering medications. I also find joy in taking care of animals and making both them and their owners comfortable. I'm a retired circus performer that currently directs, choreographs and teaches. Because this is part-time work, I have lots of free time to be available for your pets. When I'm in town, I'm available almost any day of the week and can easily work around my part-time work. I'm currently offering in-home visits, dog walking, and overnight care in your home. I always make sure to proactively communicate with my clients so that I'm fully informed as to how to make your pet to still feel at home, even with you away. Making sure they're healthy, happy and comfortable are my main concerns.

“Cerah went above and beyond taking care of my shy Chickpea! They became friends almost immediately and even played together! I was away for 2 weeks and was worried before leaving my young cat alone at home for such a long time. Cerah made me feel like she was in good hands right away. She sent updates for every visit and I got back home to a happy kitty!”

About: My first income job was from pet sitting neighborhood dogs and other animals. I'm avaliable for quick walks, long runs, or even an all day hike. I enjoy sitting, grooming, and occasionally making fresh food by hand, if necessary. I'm incredibly flexible with my schedule and willing to work out a plan that suits all parties involved. I understand that things come up last minute and that can all be handled on a case by case basis. I have a fenced yard and cameras at every entrance/ exit. My pets are groomed regularly, so allergens are low. Hand feeding has been done when necessary. I'm totally comfortable distributing medication.
“This is my first time using this service. I didn’t know what to expect. I had reach out to others and either never heard back or they just didn’t explain the process clearly. Finally I found Candice. Candice explained everything from the beginning to the end. We had a meet and great with Candice. She is a very sweet and loving person. I feel like we struck gold with her. She stayed in communication with us the entire time she was sitting out dog. She sent us pictures and even went above and beyond. In the pictures we can tell our dog was happy and comfortable with Candice. We are so grateful for her. We definitely recommend her and will be using her again. Thank you Candice!!”

Laura is a sweetheart of a person and super dependable. She went above and beyond with my two dogs, and did more than expected and also took care of them when they had tummy issues. I am so fortunate to have found her. Will definitely repeat and I am sure my dogs already miss her. Thank you Laura for your kindness and sweetness.

Kristen is absolutely exceptional—we wouldn’t trust anyone else with our dogs. From the very first visit, it was clear how naturally she connects with animals. Our dogs adore her, and that peace of mind is everything to us. She goes above and beyond during every drop-in, always sending thoughtful updates and photos so we can see how happy and well cared for they are. It’s obvious she treats them like her own. What truly sets Kristen apart is her flexibility and reliability. No matter how hectic or last-minute our schedule gets, she is always accommodating and professional. That level of consistency is rare. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, communicative, and genuinely loves dogs, Kristen is it. We’re incredibly grateful to have found her and won’t be using anyone else.
