About: Hi there, my name is Mercedes. I've had family dogs for my whole life and absolutely can't get enough of them - I've had experience with multiple breeds and sizes as well as ages. I love being around puppies, older dogs, and any age in between! I work full time and try to be as open/flexible as possible and keep my calendar updated. About: I have past experience in administering medicine including insulin and pills, as well as cleaning litter boxes, picking up dog poop, and feeding bearded dragons. I'm a college student working at a restaurant, but I am available throughout the day between school and work, and at nights. Overall pet sitting fits into my schedule just as well as any average person. I have a cat in my home who is vaccinated and well cared for, so if a pet is coming to my home it must be OK around cats, my cat is also used to dogs and other animals, although I would prefer to watch animals at their house. I care for them by feeding them according to their schedule, always providing fresh water, and taking them on any necessary walks, or runs, and of course cleaning up the poop or puke that occurs.

About: I grew up with dogs (mostly German shepherds with the golden retriever or terrier thrown in there). My husband is not a dog person, but I love them so I'm hoping to be able to get my dog fix by helping people who find themselves away from their fur babies for extended periods. I will play with and love on your dog while they enjoy the comfort of being in a familiar environment. I will give your dog the same level of care that I would expect for my own child. My kids are getting more independent, leaving me with lots of time during the day to play with your pups! I am an avid runner and would love to give your fur babies lots of love and exercise. I am comfortable following the instructions you leave to the letter. I am calm and friendly, letting animals decide how they feel about me in their own time. One of my highest goals is to build trust with your dog and you.

She made sure our dogs were well fed, kept their water bowls full, and took them on twice-daily walks. Most importantly, she made sure they weren’t lonely. She even squeezed in extra visits in her busy schedule just to give them more company and attention, which meant so much to us. She is also fantastic with communication. She sent us updates and pictures multiple times a day while we were gone. Our dogs absolutely loved her and always looked forward to seeing her. They would wait excitedly for her visits! It was obvious they felt comfortable and happy in her care. We came home to happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for pups. About: I've been caring for all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles and Macaws. I've also volunteered at bird reacues and animal shelters in both New Mexico and Iowa. I have experience in animal training and Im currently an at home student at CNM so I have plenty of time to entertain and care for your pet. I enjoy making pet care a full time part of my life. I have a large fenced in back yard perfect for safe running and playing. It's got a nice spacious grass lawn with pet safe plants. The inside is pet safe and proof for your animals safety.
