About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. I tend to connect well with animals that are more troubled, reactive, or unsure, and I’m often able to bring out their calmer, more trusting side. Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Growing up around breeding and long-term dog care taught me responsibility, consistency, and how much attention animals need at different stages of life. I’ve been involved in raising dogs from newborns to adulthood, and many of the dogs I’ve helped raise have gone on to become unforgettable adventure companions for their families. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. Animal care already shapes my daily routine, and I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, exercise, outdoor exposure, and rest. I’m comfortable juggling different routines and planning time and resources around an animal’s specific needs. I’m very conscientious about safety and environmental risks. I pay close attention to doors, gates, toxic plants, household hazards, interactions with unfamiliar animals, and changes in an animal’s behavior. I rely on observation and experience to distinguish between normal behavior and something that may need attention. If something seems off, I communicate clearly and directly, providing context and details without being alarmist. I also enjoy sharing updates and photos so owners feel informed and connected while they’re away. I have experience filming and taking photos of animals especially dogs and cats that don’t sit still - so you’re bound to get a good photo or two of them.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, and am currently a dog mom to my wonderful fur baby. Throughout the years I have been entrusted to go to peoples houses and care for their dogs, take care of dogs in my own home, and have even been entrusted to care for newborn puppies until they were old enough to go to their homes. I have a special place in my heart for dogs, and I absolutely love any opportunity to meet all kinds of new furry friends and personalities!

About: I have a cat and dog of my own, I’ve pet sitted for weeks at a time for family and friends over the past 5 years, nothing professional but my dog is 7 and my cat is 4. They’re living happy healthy lives I’m sure I’ll have no problems taking care of yours! I am working part time, most of my shifts are 7am to 11 no set dates but I won’t accept any offers I can’t comfortably accomplish If you have a special routine please let me know, routine aside meals and water refreshments twice a day(unless more is needed) potty breaks at least 4 times a day, walk’s enrichment of all kinds throughout the day. About: I've had animals a part of my family since I was born. Growing up it was my responsibility to take care of them - feeding, watering, walking, and cleaning up after their messes. I often looked after our neighbors' pets as well. I have experience with large and small dogs, various temperaments of cats, pets in their "baby" phase as well as older pets who need extra care and love. I am good with all breeds of dogs and cats. I like to give each pet time to get comfortable with me before entering into their space. I consider each pet I meet a new friend to bond with over play, walks, and snuggles. :) I am regularly a house cleaner who runs her own business in the local area, so this gives me the opportunity to be available to pet owners and their pet's needs. I currently care for 4 different family's pets throughout the year and have rarely come into a scheduling conflict. I like to give people the freedom they need in their life while not having to worry about their pet's needs. I do not currently have the space to care for other people's pets in my home but am willing to stay in their home overnight to accommodate their needs. I like to have the pet owners make a list of things I should know about their pets. This could be special needs, dos and don'ts, typical schedule for feeding, bedtime, etc., pet's favorite spot to lay or toy to play with. That way the pet(s) can stay closer to what they know for lower stress.

About: I have been taking care of dogs from a very young age, and I have been a professional sitter and boarder for a little over 3 years now. I recently moved to the area and am looking to rebuild my clientele. I am an animal advocate who has spent a lot of time volunteering with different agencies to help find forever homes for abandoned fur babies, and working for programs that went out and helped the homeless get the right care for their pets. I have experience with hyper pets, shy pets, large and small. I love them all the same. Let me spoil your babies while you’re away, and take comfort in knowing that they are safe and loved with me. I am currently an online student and doing a part time work from home job, so I will be home and available for them all day besides appointments or errands I have a large fenced yard that I make sure to walk the perimeter of to make sure there are no escape points. I also have a huge deck for them to lounge on and they have free roam of my home. I do have a toddler in the home, she is very shy with animals and has grown up learning the importance of being gentle and nonintrusive with them.

About: I have 5 cats of my own as well as a small dog, and I cherish all animals. I have been petsitting for family and friends since I was about 10, and am flexibly available to take care of your babies when you need. I am an incoming freshman at WCC and recently relocated to Paulsbo, I have plenty of past experience and would love to take care of a few more animals before classes start! I will have plenty of free time to devote to taking care of your animals :) I will do anything requested of me regarding caring for your pets in your home, including keeping them company, going on walks, and giving them plenty of love.
