About: When your pets stay with me, they get my full attention. I'm currently freelancing and work mostly from home, besides the occasional meeting, in-person project, or event. I prefer to host one pet family at a time, so that I can give each client and crew my utmost effort, compassion, and care. I want to make sure your family members are thriving and living their best lives while you're away! I've cared for cats, dogs, and even turtles since I was a kid. I'm an avid foster with the Louisiana SPCA and have volunteered with animal welfare organizations across the state since I was a teenager. I've cared for almost every kind of dog: the chill seniors, the anxious rescues, and the gregarious goofballs. I enjoy exploring the colorful neighborhoods of New Orleans with a companion by my side. I also love teaching and learning new tricks, and I'm always down for an impromptu playtime. In my free time, I'm a passionate circus artist, so I'm usually juggling tennis balls when I'm not throwing them for fetch. I'm a lifelong New Orleanian, so I know all the coolest (literally) spots in town. Whether that's a long sniffy and shaded walk in City Park, or a breezy stroll along the lakefront, I make sure all of our adventures are catered to your pet's comfort and schedule. I'm currently freelancing, so I have ample free time to care for pets of all kinds. With enough notice, I can generally be available any day of the week at any time. I'm able to work mostly remotely, and I try to structure my days around hanging with your pets at your house or at mine. When I do have to leave pets alone, I make sure they're cozy with fresh food and water, toys, and plenty of napping space. I ask lots of questions during our meet-and-greets and our communications to ensure we're aligned on your family's needs schedule-wise, and so that I understand your pet's normal daily routine. I try to keep my calendar current, so you can see when I'm available and when I'm not, but reach out anytime! Your pet stays with me whether in your home or at my own. My flexible schedule allows me to hang out and check in often. I have reliable transportation that allows me to fetch the essentials and the luxuries, like treats. My home has a fenced yard, so there's plenty of space for secure outdoor activities. I also have a pool, so when it's hot, there's a place to cool off. If I'm boarding your pet, I'll follow your lead when it comes to swimming. If your dog loves water, we can swim together, and if they're not a swimmer, I'll make sure we stay dry. I'm always happy to share more details about our yard during our conversations or a meet-and-greet. On walks, we use the leashes and gear you provide and that your pet is familiar with. Alternatively, I can also bring my own leashes if you'd like. I follow your instructions around feeding, routine, and medications (I appreciate having your instructions written down). I refer to your preferred vet and pet hospital information. As a local New Orleanian, I'm resourceful and knowledgeable about the multitude of pet resources in town that help your pet stay healthy and happy, from clinics that offer free vaccines to local restaurants that are pup-friendly.

About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! We have a modest fenced in yard, as well as one dog and one cat of our own. Both are friendly with all species! We have ample space (spare bedrooms) to set up up a crate/kennel if desired.

About: I would be a great pet sitter because I have a genuine love for animals and experience caring for dogs. I regularly volunteer at my local animal shelter on the weekends, where I help care for and support dogs of all sizes and personalities. I have also had my own dog, Twix, a Boston Terrier, for the past five years, which has given me hands-on experience with daily care, including feeding, walking, bathing, and providing attention and comfort. I am very comfortable handling all aspects of dog care and making sure pets feel safe and loved. As a college student, I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate different needs and routines. I am responsible, dependable, and attentive, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. Being able to care for your pet would also mean a lot to me, as I miss my own dog back home. Overall, I am committed to providing reliable, caring, and high-quality care for every pet I look after. Although I am a full time college student, I have very flexible hours and I am able to walk and sit dogs with little notice. I am okay with early morning walks and I have my own transportation as well! Keeping a pet calm, comfortable, and clean are my top priorities as a pet owner and caretaker! I am not afraid to clean up after pets and give them baths and since I have my own transportation, walks around parks and other local and safe neighborhoods are also services I can provide.

About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! If I could cuddle a gator I would!!! I have also done whelping services for many family members. I have done a lot of fostering and bottle feeding both puppies and kittens. I’m currently working only for Rover. So I can dedicate all my time to your fur baby and his/her needs and the loving care and schedule you want for them. However I am instructed to. I am there to make you and your pet comfortable while away. It can be stressful for pet and pet parents when they are not together. I try to keep your pets schedule as similar to what they are used to with you. Feeding/ walking/ playing/ sleeping/ waking up will all be as close to their normal schedule as possible. Their comfort is my first priority.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 12 years old and have always had a passion for animals. For years, I cared for a family’s four Greyhounds whenever they traveled, giving me experience with multiple dogs and a variety of care needs. As a dog owner myself, I currently have a Dalmatian and understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I provide dependable, loving care and treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I am currently working full-time. About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

I have a range of experience- with puppies and kittens, administering medication, unique personalities, special needs, and more. Currently not boarding at the moment since I am moving into a new space soon. I can go home for lunch during the week and am free all evenings and weekends. Since I am in the process of moving to a new space, I am not boarding at the moment. I am usually available for boarding on weeknights after 4p and full days on the weekends. Your pet is my priority whether I am at your place or mine. When staying at your place, I will always try to leave it neater than when I came across it. Whether its replacing batteries in your ring camera or letting the service man come in, I am available to help you in anyway you need when something unexpected occurs while you're out. Any animals staying at my home are made to feel comfortable and safe; my home becomes their home!

About: I've taken care of dogs for family and friends for weekends and overnight stays when they went out town. I've walked , fed, played, and bathed them when needed. Mostly big dogs and cats but I am comfortable with small dogs as well :) I work remote so I am available all day to watch your fur children :) I am flexible with my schedule as long as I know in advance I am needed . I will have your fur children in my home or backyard (depending on your requests). They are allowed to sleep and be on my furniture .

I enjoy spending time with animals and being out in nature and I consider this arrangement to be less work and more fun. That being said, I understand the responsibility it takes to look after someone else’s pet and take great care in keeping you pets safe and happy. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! :) I’m a self employed creative and have a very flexible schedule. I do work many side jobs so it is best to let me know a couple days to a week ahead of time. I cannot provide home services at this time unfortunately. My landlord won’t permit pets at my place. I would happily dog or cat sit at your home.
