About: When your pets stay with me, they get my full attention. I'm currently freelancing and work mostly from home, besides the occasional meeting, in-person project, or event. I prefer to host one pet family at a time, so that I can give each client and crew my utmost effort, compassion, and care. I want to make sure your family members are thriving and living their best lives while you're away! I've cared for cats, dogs, and even turtles since I was a kid. I'm an avid foster with the Louisiana SPCA and have volunteered with animal welfare organizations across the state since I was a teenager. I've cared for almost every kind of dog: the chill seniors, the anxious rescues, and the gregarious goofballs. I enjoy exploring the colorful neighborhoods of New Orleans with a companion by my side. I also love teaching and learning new tricks, and I'm always down for an impromptu playtime. In my free time, I'm a passionate circus artist, so I'm usually juggling tennis balls when I'm not throwing them for fetch. I'm a lifelong New Orleanian, so I know all the coolest (literally) spots in town. Whether that's a long sniffy and shaded walk in City Park, or a breezy stroll along the lakefront, I make sure all of our adventures are catered to your pet's comfort and schedule. I'm currently freelancing, so I have ample free time to care for pets of all kinds. With enough notice, I can generally be available any day of the week at any time. I'm able to work mostly remotely, and I try to structure my days around hanging with your pets at your house or at mine. When I do have to leave pets alone, I make sure they're cozy with fresh food and water, toys, and plenty of napping space. I ask lots of questions during our meet-and-greets and our communications to ensure we're aligned on your family's needs schedule-wise, and so that I understand your pet's normal daily routine. I try to keep my calendar current, so you can see when I'm available and when I'm not, but reach out anytime! Your pet stays with me whether in your home or at my own. My flexible schedule allows me to hang out and check in often. I have reliable transportation that allows me to fetch the essentials and the luxuries, like treats. My home has a fenced yard, so there's plenty of space for secure outdoor activities. I also have a pool, so when it's hot, there's a place to cool off. If I'm boarding your pet, I'll follow your lead when it comes to swimming. If your dog loves water, we can swim together, and if they're not a swimmer, I'll make sure we stay dry. I'm always happy to share more details about our yard during our conversations or a meet-and-greet. On walks, we use the leashes and gear you provide and that your pet is familiar with. Alternatively, I can also bring my own leashes if you'd like. I follow your instructions around feeding, routine, and medications (I appreciate having your instructions written down). I refer to your preferred vet and pet hospital information. As a local New Orleanian, I'm resourceful and knowledgeable about the multitude of pet resources in town that help your pet stay healthy and happy, from clinics that offer free vaccines to local restaurants that are pup-friendly.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: Been giving my love to animals since I was a little girl. Family have trusted me with providing what is necessary for our furry friends. I'm currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule, and have enough time watching over furry family. I can do frequent house visits if needed. I don't host animals in my home but and open to pet sit and house sit if needed. I can also do house visits if needed.

About: I’ve spent my whole life taking care of my dogs. Throughout college I had many roommates with cats and grew a love for them as well. Growing up I used to make treats for animal shelters and had a dream of being a vet. Since I’ve realized how much of a dedication vet school is, this seems like a fun way to incorporate my love for animals into something part time. :) I love cardio and am always down for a morning, afternoon, and even night runs. I love to go to scenic spots and enjoy being outside. I am in between jobs right now, so I have open availability for any pet needs! I have a fenced in yard and one 14 year old West Highland Terrier. She is extremely spoiled, but loves new friends. We love to play fetch and play in the yard. The extra baths are worth our fun times outside together lol.

About: I have been around pets my whole life. I grew up taking care of two cats and one dog at the same time. I helped raise one gray tabby cat, and ,a couple years later, I also raised a black Labrador and blue healer mix puppy! I have bottle fed, cleaned litter boxes, stayed up with dogs and cats through thunder storms. I have given many baths and had to clean up various messes from both cats and dogs. Whatever the issue is, I have seen it. I am currently home for the summer from college, so I am available all day, every day to take care of your precious fur babies! I have a car so I have reliable transportation to come to your home. I know that pets are such a precious part of your family, and I will take care of them as if they were my very own.

About: I would be a great pet sitter because I have a genuine love for animals and experience caring for dogs. I regularly volunteer at my local animal shelter on the weekends, where I help care for and support dogs of all sizes and personalities. I have also had my own dog, Twix, a Boston Terrier, for the past five years, which has given me hands-on experience with daily care, including feeding, walking, bathing, and providing attention and comfort. I am very comfortable handling all aspects of dog care and making sure pets feel safe and loved. As a college student, I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate different needs and routines. I am responsible, dependable, and attentive, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. Being able to care for your pet would also mean a lot to me, as I miss my own dog back home. Overall, I am committed to providing reliable, caring, and high-quality care for every pet I look after. Although I am a full time college student, I have very flexible hours and I am able to walk and sit dogs with little notice. I am okay with early morning walks and I have my own transportation as well! Keeping a pet calm, comfortable, and clean are my top priorities as a pet owner and caretaker! I am not afraid to clean up after pets and give them baths and since I have my own transportation, walks around parks and other local and safe neighborhoods are also services I can provide.

About: I've had dogs all of my adult life. I had 6 at one time and now have 2 Chihuahuas who I adore. I love all pets and want to be your pups best friend. I regularly pet sit for my 2 kids' dogs (Frenchie, Australian shepherd and golden doodle). I've also pet sat at a good friend's house for her 3 pups and brought my 2 also. I am retired so I have a lot of free time. I can walk or visit your pups regularly. My schedule is very flexible. I can help out at any time. I have a fenced yard and it is secure. About: Hi! My name is Brion. (Bree-ahn) I’m a 32 year old female. I’ve always had some sort of pet in my life. I currently have a 1 y/o male golden doodle who is not spayed. I also have a 6 y/o daughter who absolutely adores animals. On weekends my daughter and I would love nothing more than a play buddy. We like taking walks outside and getting fresh air when needed. We live in a fenced home with a backyard, front yard, & a park. So there’s plenty of space for activities and energy. I also have a large cage of my own if needed.

About: I’ve grown to love the company of animals over people most days lol. I’m a doggy mom to a big Pitt/Hound 8 month old puppy named Cocoa & he’s about 75lbs already! I’m also a mom of 4 so I’m pretty good at multitasking. Im a chef & I also own a small cleaning business & have often times been entrusted with the tasks of pet sitting, feeding, walking & bathing of their fur babies while on jobs or just as help on days outside of cleaning jobs. I have healthy recipes for animal treats & love to watch them gobble them down once permission is granted by mom or dad of course. Animals tend to gravitate towards me & I absolutely adore the good feels I get from their pure energy & love. I would be more than happy to meet your new fur babies & take part in spoiling them a little. Im an entrepreneur so my schedule is pretty flexible outside of my kids… I usually only need a days notice of a needed appointment for smoothie sailing on both sides but I’m definitely open to being on call of sorts if ever needed in an emergency situation. I can make accommodations for pet sitting during the day or over night whenever needed but only in the clients home as my home as small kids present always. I have no issue with crating your fur babies if needed. I’m knowledgeable on how to harness a dog & I know how to restrain them if transportation is ever required. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, so I’m very familiar with all the ups and downs that come with pet care. On top of that, I have experience working as a veterinary assistant where I was in charge of boarding, walking, bathing, and cleaning after all types of animals! I currently work full-time Tuesday through Friday. However, I am completely free on those afternoons and from Friday afternoon through Monday. So if you need an afternoon dog walker or a sitter for a weekend get away, I’m the person for you! I am very open to caring for pets in the way that you would like me to. I’m comfortable with following a strict schedule or making one up for you! I assure that updates such as pictures, videos, and texts will come as often as requested.

About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! About: I’m a Tulane Law student who has pet sat for friends and neighbors for over 12 years. I have a flexible school schedule and would love to spend my extra time making sure your dogs and cats are safe, well cared for, and having fun while you’re away! I am a full-time student with flexible hours. I have no weekend school or job commitments, and during the week I’m available for walks, check-ins, etc before and after my classes (typically 10-1pm). I’m happy to discuss specifics with you and find a schedule that works best for your pets, so please feel free to reach out! I have experience with animals that are crate trained and those who are not, and am happy to fulfill whatever roles you need to ensure your pets are kept in their routines while you’re away.

About: History of dog ownership for 10+ years Experience with dog sitting for 4 years and some dog training as well, medication administration, providing daily exercise. Clients have been long time residents of my area and can recommend me for their pet care needs. Very trusting when leaving me with their pets. Always willing to do overnight stays when needed to watch the pets and their home. Provide light to moderate cleaning. Good with keeping up consistent training as requested. I'm currently working at home and have time for playful pet care. I also have a pup who's friendly and would love a friend to hang out with! I have a fenced yard and supervise all play time. In client's homes I watch closely and am always nearby to supervise. I offer light housework and pick up of any messes made by your pup.
