“Kenneth watched my dog nova for a day and overnight when I went to a Mardi Gras parade and I can’t be more pleased. First off it was last minute and during Mardi Gras nonetheless so it was very challenging to find someone, Kenneth made it easy and responded to my request almost immediately. I was able to drop nova off and felt like I left her in good hands. Kenneth sent me lots of videos and photos during his time with nova which was also super appreciated. And finally when I was an hour late picking her up because I lost my keys and had to wait on a locksmith, he didn’t mind. “Upon our initial Meet & Greet with Adam, my partner and I immediately felt good about working with them. Adam’s sensitivity, attunement, and ability to relate to animals was present from the moment they were introduced to our cat, Gonzi. Adam spent two weeks house/cat-siting while we were abroad and took care of him with an attentiveness and affection equaling our own. We received regular video and photo updates during our vacation. (Adam is a filmmaker, so the videos were extra special). In the videos Gonzi was purring, and had clearly developed a close bond with Adam, something that is quite unusual for Gonzi. Adam’s messages and videos made clear that they are conscientious and thoughtful about how important such updates are for pet owners. As well as being very prompt in communication, Adam was also flexible. Our flight was late, and they kindly made an extra visit that evening after the stay had officially ended. Upon our return, Gonzi was happy and healthy, and had clearly been very well taken care of. Our home was very clean and tidy as well. Adam was a perfect cat sitter for us. About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, starting from rescuing strays as a kid. I have years of hands on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including my own senior pup who was named Cici. She needed medication around the clock and caring for her taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to follow a strict care routine. I’m comfortable giving meds, understanding special needs, and making sure pets feel loved, safe, and understood. A year after Cici passed, I adopted a dog named Betty who taught me how to love again. I didn’t realize that it was possible to have more than one soul dogs. Unfortunately, she passed away from heartworms 3 months after I adopted her (she already previously had heartworms from the place I adopted her from and was on medicine). So after that, yeah I’m not doing that again haha. My heart can’t take it. However, I would love to hang out with your fur babies and give them some extra loving and hopefully mend my broken heart. I promise I’ll treat them how I would’ve treated Cici and Betty!!!! The pain of losing them was so great only because the love I had for them was even greater. And I have an abundance of love to give! I am currently not working so I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets! Every day will be a party and I’d love to have some company! In my home, pets will have a safe, clean and comfortable space with plenty of attention, playtime and plenty of snuggles. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I will make sure they get regular leashed walks, potty breaks, and supervised outdoor time. I will stick to their usual feeding schedule, keep fresh water available at all times and follow any medication or special care routines exactly.

About: I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. I began my pet care as a child, taking home every stray dog I saw. Nursing sheep, stray cats, bunnies, you name it. I was then a vet tech, rescue foster, and sitter. My schedule allows plenty of time for walks, feeding, playtime, medication if needed, and quality one-on-one attention, so your pet will never feel rushed or overlooked while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, feeding, fresh water, medication if needed, and lots of affection. With my veterinary clinic experience, I’m also attentive to any changes in behavior or health, giving pet parents added peace of mind while they’re away.
About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! We have a modest fenced in yard, as well as one dog and one cat of our own. Both are friendly with all species! We have ample space (spare bedrooms) to set up up a crate/kennel if desired.

About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.

First off it was last minute and during Mardi Gras nonetheless so it was very challenging to find someone, Kenneth made it easy and responded to my request almost immediately. I was able to drop nova off and felt like I left her in good hands. Kenneth sent me lots of videos and photos during his time with nova which was also super appreciated. And finally when I was an hour late picking her up because I lost my keys and had to wait on a locksmith, he didn’t mind.
