About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, starting from rescuing strays as a kid. I have years of hands on experience with dogs of all ages, including my own senior pup who was named Cici. She needed medication around the clock and caring for her taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to follow a strict care routine. I’m comfortable giving meds, understanding special needs, and making sure pets feel loved, safe, and understood. I would love to hang out with your fur babies and give them some extra loving! I am currently not working so I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets! Every day will be a party and I’d love to have some company! In my home, pets will have a safe, clean and comfortable space with plenty of attention, playtime and plenty of snuggles. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I will make sure they get regular leashed walks, potty breaks, and supervised outdoor time. I will stick to their usual feeding schedule, keep fresh water available at all times and follow any medication or special care routines exactly.

The fact that she was so meticulous following the wishes of the other dogs owner, made me know she was going to do same for me. Miley had some special needs during her visit (some medicine and specific food to curtail an upset stomach) and Regina didn’t mind at all. It was a little cold snap, so I brought Miley with a sweater. When I picked her up the next day, Regina had even sewn shut a hole that had been in that sweater, I was so surprised and so happy. She is so sweet and we will definitely be returning!”

I’m also a mom of 4 so I’m pretty good at multitasking. Im a chef & I also own a small cleaning business & have often times been entrusted with the tasks of pet sitting, feeding, walking & bathing of their fur babies while on jobs or just as help on days outside of cleaning jobs. I have healthy recipes for animal treats & love to watch them gobble them down once permission is granted by mom or dad of course. Animals tend to gravitate towards me & I absolutely adore the good feels I get from their pure energy & love. I would be more than happy to meet your new fur babies & take part in spoiling them a little. Im an entrepreneur so my schedule is pretty flexible outside of my kids… I usually only need a days notice of a needed appointment for smoothie sailing on both sides but I’m definitely open to being on call of sorts if ever needed in an emergency situation. I can make accommodations for pet sitting during the day or over night whenever needed but only in the clients home as my home as small kids present always. I have no issue with crating your fur babies if needed. I’m knowledgeable on how to harness a dog & I know how to restrain them if transportation is ever required. For visits in your home, everything happens on your cat's terms, in their territory: feeding, fresh water, a properly cleaned litter box, and genuine company. Whether that's play, brushing, or just quietly existing nearby, I'm happy to do whichever your cat prefers. I'm careful with the zoomers, and patient with the shy cats too. About: Mother of 5 furbabies and full-time non traditional student, caring and loving for animals is part of my daily life. I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and a lamb (Popcorn) for pets. Youth member of 4-H clubs for both sheep and rabbits. Animals and caring for them was part of my upbringing and part of my daily life. Currently, I have 5 furbabies - all rescues and ranging in size from toy Chihuahua to my big girl pit bull. I saved her from death row (so the pound told me) but the truth is, she picked me. I would have 10 more if legally allowed. My retirement goal is to own a senior dog rescue/retirement center so we can enjoy our golden years together. I'm currently a full-time student, so I have a fairly flexible schedule and I'm only in classes two days a week. I have owned all types of dog personalities and have reasons for loving all of them - from the active and playful to the calm and snuggly and to those in between. Cats share my attitude so we get along well with some kind of mutual respect for each other. I love the difference in personalities between cats and dogs - there's a lot of comedy to support this fact. I'm also a lover of New Orleans and a former tour guide - so walking for a living is not a new thing. I prefer the activity over sitting behind a desk. Most dogs love my doggie massages and I'm a worthy opponent for any tug-o-war game. I can throw a ball far, bounce a ball high, and hold my own with the frisbee. Dogs also say I'm a great conversationalist with interesting tidbits for about how old the fire hydrant they're marking is as well as keen safety information, like why dogs can't swim in the River and why I don't recommend the lake either. Dogs also like my firm but fun nature - like toddlers, dogs appreciate routine, boundaries, and to gain their respect you have to enforce them. I also do not believe in hitting animals. My dogs are just as terrified of a water spray bottle - much like most cats - and it's far less harmful than hitting/smacking/etc them. Placing your trust in a stranger for the care and love of your furchild is never an easy task. As a fellow fur (and human) mother, I get that. I am extremely prompt, love taking photos, and love walking the city. I have a reliable 4-door car as well, so whether your dog just loves R-I-D-E-S (shh! don't say that out loud) or you need me to get them to the vet while on vacation - rest assured, I can cover all bases. About: I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. I began my pet care as a child, taking home every stray dog I saw. Nursing sheep, stray cats, bunnies, you name it. I was then a vet tech, rescue foster, and sitter. As my life has changed my love for, and enjoyment of caring for pets has not. I bond well with animals, and have the experience to know when firmness is required. About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. I additionally took care of my other dog in her early months waking up multiple times nightly to calm her down. About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. About: I've had dogs all of my adult life. I had 6 at one time and now have 2 Chihuahuas who I adore. I love all pets and want to be your pups best friend. About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. About: Mother of 5 furbabies and full-time non traditional student, caring and loving for animals is part of my daily life. I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and a lamb (Popcorn) for pets. Youth member of 4-H clubs for both sheep and rabbits. I saved her from death row (so the pound told me) but the truth is, she picked me. I would have 10 more if legally allowed. My retirement goal is to own a senior dog rescue/retirement center so we can enjoy our golden years together. I'm currently a full-time student, so I have a fairly flexible schedule and I'm only in classes two days a week. I have owned all types of dog personalities and have reasons for loving all of them - from the active and playful to the calm and snuggly and to those in between. Cats share my attitude so we get along well with some kind of mutual respect for each other. I love the difference in personalities between cats and dogs - there's a lot of comedy to support this fact. I'm also a lover of New Orleans and a former tour guide - so walking for a living is not a new thing. I prefer the activity over sitting behind a desk. Most dogs love my doggie massages and I'm a worthy opponent for any tug-o-war game. I can throw a ball far, bounce a ball high, and hold my own with the frisbee. Dogs also say I'm a great conversationalist with interesting tidbits for about how old the fire hydrant they're marking is as well as keen safety information, like why dogs can't swim in the River and why I don't recommend the lake either. Dogs also like my firm but fun nature - like toddlers, dogs appreciate routine, boundaries, and to gain their respect you have to enforce them. I also do not believe in hitting animals. My dogs are just as terrified of a water spray bottle - much like most cats - and it's far less harmful than hitting/smacking/etc them. Placing your trust in a stranger for the care and love of your furchild is never an easy task. As a fellow fur (and human) mother, I get that. I am extremely prompt, love taking photos, and love walking the city. I have a reliable 4-door car as well, so whether your dog just loves R-I-D-E-S (shh! don't say that out loud) or you need me to get them to the vet while on vacation - rest assured, I can cover all bases.
