12. Cindy O.
“Cindy has dog sitter for my wife and I many times over the last 5 years. Duration has been between a quick visit to feed and let outside to coming over multiple times a day for a week when we were out of town. Cindy is great with animals and our late Luna (dog) really loved her. I would definitely recommend Cindy to take care of your pet(s) while you’re away. Either in a pinch or a scheduled trip, she has always been reliable and extremely pet friendly.”
13. Cindy S.
“Book Cindy NOW, to have a loving, caring, careful and communicative sitter for your pet. Cindy has taken care of my dog, Basco, both in her home and in mine. Basco was not an easy baby to sit for, but Cindy's patience, attention to detail and thorough focus on my dog won him over. I only wish we were still in the same city, I would not hesitate to have Cindy look after my current dog Mac to take the stress and worry out of leaving him behind while out of town.”

About: Hi there! Thanks for checking out my Rover profile! I go by Tisha! I've been lucky to have professional experience working with dogs and cats at the Louisiana SPCA and I've been providing my pet/home care services for many years now too. I truly enjoy helping others around caring for their loved animals because I know it's difficult and our pets have needs too! I also don't have any dogs of my own right now so I appreciate the company I receive when going on walks and hanging around the town or cuddling up with them while watching a movie. I grew up surrounded by medium to large breed dogs so I am definitely comfortable with the big ones but I have experience with most breeds now even that teacup sizes and puppies. I also have personal and professional experience taking care of cats, rabbits, chickens, and rodents. I became a certified Rover member in 2019 when I started school briefly because I wasn't working at the time and I really enjoyed the opportunity to work with this company. I've had several returning clients based in Seattle and it's been great to build my clientele pretty fast in New Orleans as a new resident of Sept. 2020 then returned to Rover in April 2021. Note: * TIPS: $tishaa90 or Venmo: tishaa90 * Fully vaccinated * Work: I am partly self employed (working on establishing my own coaching business and getting my certification). I am generally pretty available to spend lots of quality time with your pets! * I do not drive. So I prefer not to travel far distances which would be outside of New Orleans Parish. I can be available to provide services at further distances with advanced notice to arrange transportation and cat sitting of my own. *If you're also looking for a reliable person to plant water, securing the property, mail/package collecting, and professional cleaning services (I am a house cleaner too) feel free to let me know and we can arrange something. References provided by request. Let me know if you have any questions and looking forward to setting up a meet and greet. Thanks! I am starting my self employed journey but other than working on that I am available as of right now since I am in between part time or full-time work. So pet care fits extremely well into my daily or weekly routine. I am excited to be more available for the fur babies! I spend quality time with all animals that I interact with when given the opportunity to help ensure that me being there is a stress free time as speration from you can be hard for them. I pay great attention to details and behaviors to ensure everything is going smoothly and they're comfortable. I also thrive in clear instructions from you in order to have the best time!
17. Leslie T.
About: I come from a family of pet lovers. We’ve had everything from hamsters to guinea pigs to chihuahuas and even a German shepherd, (I forgot the birds!) I love all animals. Recently, I’ve been pet sitting on the side of my nursing job. It makes me so happy to see a happy animal full of all the love they have! I’m currently traveling back and forth from New Orleans to San Francisco for work. I’m hoping to help people that need pet care like I do. I am open to how each client cares for their pets. I don’t crate my dog, but he can crate trained. I know feeding schedules can vary. No pet is alike. They all have a unique reason why we love them!
18. Petey P.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was young. I currently have 4 furbabies with my partner. I have 4 years of fostering experience as well. From walks, to baths, to deep cleaning the liter box and poop scooping duties I don’t mind doing it all! I am currently looking for a part time or full time job so my pet care availability is wide open and very flexible! Especially for house sitting and pet care in your home. I have a large fenced in yard full of toys, a dog splash pad and raised dog beds to keep them cooler in the heat. They will have three furbaby friends to hang with and if they need their own space we have a spare bedroom to give them privacy.
19. Kenneth D.
“As long as i've known Kenneth Dumas he's always been found to be a compassionate lover of animals, especially dogs. He's taken in big dogs like labs, medium mixed-breed dogs, and small dogs like terriers. Strays off the street and dogs people have trusted to take care of in their abscence, whether the owners were going away for a temporary summer vacation, moving to another state and the owner couldn't bring the dog with them for whatever reason, or simply a family dog that the owner, unfortunately was getting older and less mobile. Kenneth is always the go-to guy to help out in that regard. When I last saw him late last year he had adopted an adorable brown and white mid-sized dog named Bella. Bella is by all accounts a loyal, protective, and fun loving dog who Kenneth has very-well trained whether she's inside or outside chasing sticks. This isn't surprising considering who her caretaker is. Also, Kenneth has told me that one of the more personal reasons he enjoys walking and taking care of dogs is that the daily dog walks he goes on allows him to stay fit, "get his steps in" , I think is the phrase. So in conclusion, I think Kenneth Dumas would make an excellent pet caregiver to anyone who would solicit his services. He's attentive to the animals needs, has no problem taking them to parks to run out that energy, and has a demeanor that any animals that are fortunate enough to meet him immediately trusts and sense that he'll make sure they are happy and healthy. Can't recommend enough.”
20. Michelle R.
“Michelle is a sweet and fun loving friend! She has several pets herself and is a living fur momma. She’s always relaxed around my large dog, and I know she’d be good with your fur babies too!”
