About: I've owned pets for over 25 years. I have experience with both dogs and cats. I consider my pets as my family and will do the same for yours as well. I have owned and cared for dogs of all sizes ranging from small Shih Tzu's to my current dog who is a 75 lb Border Collie and German Shepherd mix. I have experience caring for puppies and senior dogs as well. I also have a 12 year old cat, and have lived with/owned several other cats in the past. My wife and I have also cared for many shelter kittens over the years as well. I am available primarily in the evenings for drop-ins and weekends all day for drop-ins or boarding. I also board during the week. My wife works from home so someone is always at home. When caring for pets in my home, I ensure a safe and welcoming environment by pet-proofing all areas, providing plenty of comfortable spaces, and maintaining a routine that includes regular feeding, exercise, and playtime. Dogs will have a playmate with unlimited energy (border collie) who is very friendly and will keep your dog very busy. For dogs: We have a large, fenced in backyard your dog will have access to full time. I will also provide frequent potty breaks as well. I keep a close eye on each pet's behavior and health, offering lots of affection and attention to make them feel at home. In my client's home, I follow any specific instructions provided to maintain their pet's routine. I respect the client's space, ensuring cleanliness and safety while offering the same level of care and attention. I make sure to provide regular updates, including photos and messages, to keep the pet owner informed and reassured about their pet's well-being. Whether at my place or theirs, I strive to create a stress-free, loving experience for every pet.
