“Sade was great, Rickie Boobie is a handful with tons of puppy energy, she connected with him right away, let him get acclimated. Everyday she sent me pictures and text reassuring me he was being a good boy . It was our first time and I am grateful for Sade, her husband and son for making Rickie Boobie welcome and loved. We will be contacting Sade again very soon.”

“Erin was great. Very communicative on how Zoe was doing throughout the day and also provided pictures. Highly recommended and will be using her again on my next trip”

“Melissa did an excellent job caring for my senior pup by making him feel safe and comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings. I will definitely be utilizing her services again.”

“My senior dog Tanner hasn’t been away from me for a long time and is very bonded with me, so I was concerned how it would be for him, as I’d be gone for 5 days. Miya the sitter is more than anyone could ask for in a sitter: she’s attentive and very caring, and it’s very apparent that she loves dogs. She made sure to ask how his poop should look like: when I left, she told me that I could call her if I had any concerns (never felt compelled to). And I certainly would not need to, as I would receive updates throughout the day every day: pictures and videos. She has dog amenities: beds, blankets, and she outfitted Tanner in a sweater and booties when the weather got cooler! Tanner can’t speak for himself, but I’m sure I’d want her to watch him in the future. Thank you, Miya!”

“Martha was awesome! Very attentive and caring. Kept in contact to let me know how Angel was adjusting. And sent pictures which reassured me that she is definitely an animal lover 🩷🩷🩷”

“Kazue is everything you can ever ask for in a dog sitter. Very quick communication. Sends photos of my dog every morning, midday, and evening. She even folded my dog’s blanket and washed his bowls prior to me picking up my dog. She is absolutely wonderful!”

“We couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional care provided by our dog sitter, Tamara. From the very beginning, it was clear that she genuinely loves and understands animals. Our dog felt comfortable, happy, and well cared for throughout the entire time we were away, which gave us complete peace of mind. Tamara went above and beyond in every way—maintaining routines, providing regular updates, and showing incredible attention to detail. It truly felt like our dog was being cared for as part of her own family. We returned to a happy, healthy, and relaxed pet, which says everything about the quality of her service. Reliability, professionalism, and genuine compassion are rare to find all in one, but they delivered it effortlessly. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking for trustworthy and outstanding pet care. We will absolutely be using them again in the future!”

“We are very happy with Bruno's stay with Mir. Mir is very easy going and affectionate. Bruno loved the walks and he is very comfortable with her. Thank you Mir for taking a good care of Bruno!”

“Grisel was great! We got pics of every mea/walk/ play time and our dog seemed to love every minute of it! We’ll definitely be booking with Grisel again. Thank you!!”

“I’m a repeat customer. My very active terrier comes home happy and exhausted (my favorite combination!), so I know she had lots of play time. When we returned the second time she was pulling at the leash like crazy right out of the car, excited to get into that dog-friendly yard and run around.”

“Chelsi took such great care of Levi when we took a long weekend to go camping. She’s so attentive and sent great updates. I would recommend her to anyone looking for their doggy to have a home away from home 🫶🏽”

“My fur-child did well staying overnight with Lety. It had been about 6 months since he needed boarding again. My sweet boy was taken care with much love and care as always. My mind is always at ease knowing Niko is with Lety.”

“Great communication and responsiveness. Fenced dirt backyard with 2 French Bulldogs. First time staying at Amanda’s house. He came home clean and happy with resolution of his ear canal infection (needed daily ear drops given during his stay)”

“Segolene is amazing! Had a great experience working with her! She kept me updated with multiple pics and was constantly trying to make sure my baby is happy when we were away. My dog came home happy and clearly well cared. Thank you so much, Segolene!”

About: I have been a pet owner for virtually my entire life! Cats, dogs, rabbits and even a bird! My partner and I recently lost our beloved Jack Russell Terrier “Terrie” after 14 wonderful years. While regular travel commitments make it difficult to adopt another companion of our own at this time, we would love the opportunity to care for your “best fur-iend” when we are home! My partner and I both work from home, so, rest assured, someone will always be there with your pet for playtime, potty breaks and walks. I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. The house is of a decent size and currently we are without a full-time pet of our own. Your pet will enjoy being the center of attention!
“Matt is awesome! We boarded our two dogs with him for several days, and we received constant updates and photos the entire time, which was so helpful for our separation anxiety from our pups! They definitely had a great time with him, and we'll definitely be booking again the next time we go out of town!”

“Julie was amazing! From the very first contact she asked if I was interested in a meet & greet. This is the first time someone on Rover has asked me that. From my visit and conversation, I know that Julie would take great care of my pups. This was the first time I left Benji with someone else so I was extremely nervous. Every day Julie sent an update along with pictures. My pups looked extremely happy and cared for when I picked them up. I will definitely be rebooking. Thank you again!”

“I really appreciated Jared. He sent tons of pics of my furry little family member. Love it. Kylie. I know enjoyed her stay with Jared. I so look forward to utilizing Jared again”

About: I'm a patient and dependable caregiver who understands that every cat has their own personality, boundaries, and routine. I'm comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, cleaning other messes, playtime, and simply keeping a cat company while their person is away. As an educator with a bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development, I'm used to being responsible, observant, and attentive to individual needs. I also understand how important it is to have someone you can genuinely trust in your home and caring for your pet. I've had many pets of my own over the years, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust to care for your pet and your home while you're away. While I'm not able to have a cat of my own right now, I would love the opportunity to give that same care, attention, and affection to yours. I look forward to getting to know your pet, making them feel comfortable and loved, and caring for them as if they were my own. 😺

She sent us photos and videos every few hours and our dog seemed to have enjoyed a lot. We would definitely recommend Miya and she will be our go-to sitter for sure. 5 stars. Thank you Miya for taking care of Koja and we are thankful we found you.”

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was 10. I have experience caring for senior dogs as well as puppy care! I also have experience with training. I currently work from home, so I am just hanging out with my dogs all day and taking them outside, so I thought why not have some more dogs come hangout with us! I have my own two dogs that are super sweet and friendly, and would love some more friends to play with! I take them out every 2 hours if not more and we go on walks or play in the field!
“I felt so comfortable leaving our cheyanne in jans care. Everything about this first time experience using a doggie daycare was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for taking such great care of our family during a time of need!”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc. I believe animals come into our lives to make it better and to give us unconditional love. I have trained all my puppies as well as cared for my parents elderly Bullmastiff. I am very sensitive to the needs of pets and can feel when something is wrong. My schedule is open Monday - Sunday, I am a stay at home fur mom and I can not wait to meet your fur baby. All of my cats and dogs are indoor. I believe that is the safest way to keep them healthy and protected. However, if your fur baby is outside I will make sure all gates, doors are closed, locked and secure!
About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my deep understanding of dog behavior and my genuine passion for creating a safe, fun, and loving environment for every pup I care for. I don’t just “watch” dogs—I engage with them through structured play, enrichment activities, and tailored routines based on their needs and personalities. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom. I’m already used to maintaining a structured, nurturing environment, and that translates perfectly to caring for pets. I’m home throughout the day, so I can provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my focus is always on creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment.
About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.
About: Hello there! My name is Josh, and I’m an enthusiastic dog caretaker who would love the chance to take care of your dog. At first glance, you might be unsure if this guy who looks like a pirate can reliably care for your furry friend. Rest assured, I am dedicated to meeting your dog’s needs in a safe and fun environment. I will ensure that your dog feels loved and happy. I prioritize open communication with pet owners to build trust. A little background about me: I currently have a rare brain tumor that makes it difficult for me to hold a regular job. The tumor is stable and only affects my vision in my left eye. I hope that with treatment, I will soon overcome this health challenge so I can return to school to become an MRI technician. In the meantime, I’m happy to work with Rover to save up for that goal. Taking care of your pets would mean a lot to me and would help me progress toward my aspirations. I promise to go above and beyond in my service to show my appreciation. I also have a well-behaved Belgian Malinois named Nezuko, who gets along with most dogs (check out the pictures) she really likes small dogs as she grew up with a Maltese and learned to play gentle with them, and she still loves her bigs dogs as her best friend is a massive Cane Corso who was the genlte giant that taught her how to play when she was growing up. I do Meet ups ar Natomas Meadows Park and the have dogs meet in an open and safe environment. When sitting they will have have beds to lay on, chicken feet or bones to chew on and relax and we will be watching anime most likely all day with walks and park visits in between. As I stated I am disabled so I consider this my full time job and I do my best to make sure your dogs feel cared for while they are stay with me. I am somewhat new to Rover but I've pet sitted alot over the years so feel free to ask any questions (Note: if there is a day I am not available please send me a message. Especially if I've worked with your dog before and I'll try and work something out) Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I am on permanent disability so i am available at all times. I am still very active and I walk my own dog 3-4 miles a day. I have a huge park across the street that I take my dog to every day. If your dog is not good off-leash, I have a 50 ft leash they can use if they have a compatible vest. My dog is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. She does get very excited when she sees new dogs and people, but I've never seen her be aggressive with any dog or person.
“Becky was amazing with our newly adopted fur baby! I had to reach out last minute and she was so willing to help. She took Daisy out for her walks and gave her her medicine and ointments as well as sent me updates throughout their day together ◡̈”

“Great communication and responsiveness. Fenced dirt backyard with 2 French Bulldogs. First time staying at Amanda’s house. He came home clean and happy with resolution of his ear canal infection (needed daily ear drops given during his stay)”

“Becky was great! She was happy to work with my unpredictable schedule, and was very nice and friendly! She provided frequent updates and tons of great pictures of my boy. I always knew what he was up to, what activities they'd done, and how happy he was. I'd definitely book with Becky again!”

“Bonnie provided wonderful care for my two-year old lab mix Marcie. She made her part one of her very loving family of humans and pets for the long weekend! I had adopted Marcie only two months ago--it was the first time I left her overnight--and Bonnie made me feel very comfortable with her texts and pics of Marcie having fun. Highly recommended.”

“My dog Poppy seemed to have had a great time while staying with Davis! He was very accommodating and communicative. He sent daily updates with pictures, which I enjoyed seeing. I would definitely book with him again!”

“Ajit works with his clients to cater to their needs and is very responsive to inquiries. He is also flexible with drop off times. For example, he knows how to cater to seniors dogs when caring for Tule - made sure that she has an elevated feeding spot since she is a larger dog. Thank you again! Tule loves staying with you and family!”

“Abbey was a great host for our dog Hank while we were out of town. We haven’t used Rover before and Abby made this a great experience for us and our dog. She provided regular updates throughout the day and kept us informed on what Hank had been up to. We can’t recommend Abby enough.”

“Denise was amazing! I had to book last minute, and she still made everything work perfectly. I felt completely safe dropping off my dog with her. She treated him like he was her own. Sending me updates and pictures, playing with him, and even taking him to the park so he could have some fun. It meant a lot knowing he was in such good hands. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter, and I’ll absolutely be using her services again.”

“Doh was an excellent communicator for our first time experience with Rover. Louie was in good hands with extra playmates and she treated him like he was her own dog. I would highly recommend Doh to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Markita is an absolute angel. We had a last minute booking request due to an emergency and she was able to accommodate Brownie while we were away. We are so grateful for her and our dog adores her and has so much fun. Although he was happy to go home, he made sure to tell her goodbye which he has never done with anyone else. Needless to say we will be booking her again ☺️”
