“Left my very big, very shy cat alone for the first time, and was a little anxious about finding someone to check on him. Payton was the perfect person for the job! She sent regular updates, and even sent photos of the cat under the bed! I highly recommend you hire Payton to watch your furry friend - you and your pets will be glad you did!”

About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, and I truly believe they’re one of the best parts of the world. I was a dog owner for over 10 years, and after losing my sweet girl to cancer, I really missed having furry friends around. That experience reminded me just how much joy and companionship pets bring into our lives. From dogs and cats to fish and hamsters, caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’m a family guy with a comfortable home and a safe, secure environment where your pet can feel relaxed, loved, and right at home. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your furry family member with someone else. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care. Whether your companion needs walks, drop-in visits, sitting, boarding, or simply some extra love and attention, I’m happy to help. I’ll treat your pet like part of my own family and make their safety, comfort, and happiness my top priorities. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! 🐾❤️ I work part-time in the evenings and am available during the day to spend time with and care for your pets. While I’m at work, my wife and daughter are home and will be there to care for them. Your pets will always have someone at home with them, so they won’t be left alone. You can have peace of mind knowing your pets will receive care, attention, and companionship around the clock. I have a good-sized, secure backyard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time, as well as a public walking path right behind my house for those who enjoy stretching their legs and getting some exercise. I love taking dogs for walks—it’s a great way for them to get fresh air, exercise, and enrichment while keeping them happy and comfortable. I always make sure pets are supervised, cared for, and treated like part of the family while they’re in my home.
“I do believe Cathy n Maverick are creating a bond. She is very good with him. Thank you very much for dropping in on Maverick for me. I will definitely repeat w Cathy when the need arises.”

About: I know how hard it is to leave your pet with someone else. Whether you're traveling for work, taking a vacation, or simply need help during a busy week, you're trusting someone to care for a member of your family. I understand that responsibility, and I never take it for granted. I specialize in House Sitting, Pet Boarding, and Dog Walking, providing personalized care that's tailored to each pet's unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, a curious kitten, or a senior companion who enjoys a slower pace, I take the time to understand what makes them feel comfortable, happy, and secure. I welcome pets of all breeds, sizes, and ages, including cats. From playful puppies to senior pets and those with special needs, I tailor my care to meet each pet's individual personality and routine. I also have extensive experience administering oral medications and carefully following detailed care instructions, so you can feel confident your pet's health and well-being are always my priority. I don't see pets as another booking on my calendar. I see them as family members who deserve patience, kindness, attention, and genuine affection. Every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood while their family is away. My goal isn't simply to care for your pet. It's to earn your trust and become someone you can rely on whenever you need dependable, compassionate pet care. Because I work from home and have a flexible schedule, pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Your pet will receive plenty of companionship, supervision, and love throughout the day and won't be left alone for long periods. My flexible schedule allows me to provide regular potty breaks, meals, medications, walks, playtime, cuddles, and one-on-one attention based on your pet's normal routine. I know consistency helps pets feel secure, so I do everything I can to make their day feel familiar, comfortable, and stress-free. Communication is just as important to me as the care I provide. When you book with me, you can expect: • Daily updates so you always know how your pet is doing. • Plenty of photos and videos so you can enjoy the little moments you'll miss. • Prompt, reliable communication whenever you have questions. • Honest updates about meals, walks, playtime, naps, medications, and your pet's overall well-being. My goal is for you to relax and enjoy your time away, knowing your pet is happy, safe, and receiving the same love and attention they're accustomed to at home. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is always the same: creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. For added convenience, my home is located about 15 minutes from Sacramento International Airport (SMF), making drop-off and pick-up easy for pet parents traveling for work, vacations, or weekend getaways. My home is designed with pets in mind. I have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore, along with several nearby parks and scenic walking trails that are perfect for daily walks, exercise, and outdoor adventures. Whether your pet enjoys an energetic game of fetch, exploring new scents, or a leisurely stroll, I'll make sure they get the activity, enrichment, and one-on-one attention they need. During every visit or stay, your pet receives much more than the basics. They'll enjoy companionship, playtime, enrichment, exercise, affection, and plenty of individualized attention. Whether they love chasing a ball, exploring the neighborhood, curling up on the couch, or simply relaxing beside someone they trust, I'll make sure their days are filled with comfort, fun, and genuine care. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll carefully follow their established routine, including feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, favorite activities, bedtime routines, and any special instructions you provide. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care that I give your pet. Above all, I want every pet to feel loved, every home to be respected, and every pet owner to have peace of mind knowing their furry family member is safe, comfortable, and receiving attentive care. I'd love to schedule a Meet & Greet so we can get to know each other, answer any questions you may have, and make sure we're the perfect fit. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming your furry family member with the love, care, and attention they deserve.

About: Hello there! My name is Josh, and I’m an enthusiastic dog caretaker who would love the chance to take care of your dog. At first glance, you might be unsure if this guy who looks like a pirate can reliably care for your furry friend. Rest assured, I am dedicated to meeting your dog’s needs in a safe and fun environment. I will ensure that your dog feels loved and happy. I prioritize open communication with pet owners to build trust. A little background about me: I currently have a rare brain tumor that makes it difficult for me to hold a regular job. The tumor is stable and only affects my vision in my left eye. I hope that with treatment, I will soon overcome this health challenge so I can return to school to become an MRI technician. In the meantime, I’m happy to work with Rover to save up for that goal. Taking care of your pets would mean a lot to me and would help me progress toward my aspirations. I promise to go above and beyond in my service to show my appreciation. I also have a well-behaved Belgian Malinois named Nezuko, who gets along with most dogs (check out the pictures) she really likes small dogs as she grew up with a Maltese and learned to play gentle with them, and she still loves her bigs dogs as her best friend is a massive Cane Corso who was the genlte giant that taught her how to play when she was growing up. I do Meet ups ar Natomas Meadows Park and the have dogs meet in an open and safe environment. When sitting they will have have beds to lay on, chicken feet or bones to chew on and relax and we will be watching anime most likely all day with walks and park visits in between. As I stated I am disabled so I consider this my full time job and I do my best to make sure your dogs feel cared for while they are stay with me. I am somewhat new to Rover but I've pet sitted alot over the years so feel free to ask any questions (Note: if there is a day I am not available please send me a message. Especially if I've worked with your dog before and I'll try and work something out) Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I am on permanent disability so i am available at all times. I am still very active and I walk my own dog 3-4 miles a day. I have a huge park across the street that I take my dog to every day. If your dog is not good off-leash, I have a 50 ft leash they can use if they have a compatible vest. My dog is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. She does get very excited when she sees new dogs and people, but I've never seen her be aggressive with any dog or person.
“My cats adore Sarah. She's been my sitter multiple times and I always come home to happy cats, fresh food, and clean litter boxes. She is also very communicative if there are behavior changes or things that seem off.”

Bao did a great job taking care of our cats while we were away! She came over to feed them, play with them, and scoop their litter, and we felt very comfortable knowing they were being well cared for. Her communication was great throughout our trip, and we really appreciated all the pictures and updates she sent us. We would definitely trust Bao to watch our cats again and highly recommend her!

One of the best dog sitters for the hard to reach dog. Our pup is up there as the toughest customer ( fearful anxious ) & we appreciate Kelcya's calm, steady approach to providing care, meds & feeding. Even when the dog refuses all attempts to eat his meds/food a good chunk of the time, Kelcya keeps on trying. It's means a lot when your miles away, just knowing your pups are safe & cared for by a professional. Thank you!
