About: I taken care of family and friends dogs which range from small to decently large dogs. While I was in the U.S. Army I worked and trained with German Shepherds. I have three cats and had the oldest for eight years now. I also have watch my family and friends cats so I sit both. If they are active pets, I can keep up with their energy. I will take care of your babies with no assistance except from the instructions of the parents(owners). I'm currently open and have a flexible schedule, so I'm happy to work around your pet's unique needs whether it's regular visits or last-minute plans. Your pet's comfort and routine always come first. If your pet needs medication or has a strict schedule, please let me know in your booking request so I can make sure I can accommodate their needs. I do require an in-person meet and greet before confirming any new booking. This helps ensure your pet feels comfortable and we're a great fit! As a proud cat dad, I care for my cats with a lot of love, patience, and attention to detail. Each of them has their own personality and needs, so I make sure their routines are consistent, their environment feels safe, and they get both playtime and quiet comfort. I was a dog owner for over 10 years, and after losing my sweet girl to cancer, I really missed having furry friends around. I have a good-sized, secure backyard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time, as well as a public walking path right behind my house for those who enjoy stretching their legs and getting some exercise. About: I am a passionate animal lover and a Biology major on a Pre-Veterinary path. I have lifetime experience with cats and over 4 years of experience in dog care, with dogs of different breeds and temperaments. I am well-versed in walking, cleaning-up, feeding, play, and obedience. As a devoted animal lover, I care deeply for each animal that comes my way. I recently completed an Animal Behavior and Training course (with an A+) and am knowledgeable in reading an animal's needs, as well as with Classical and Operant Conditioning. My scientific knowledge of dogs' needs and behaviors gives me a specialized insight into their care and allows me to truly connect with each animal. I also volunteer weekly at the SPCA taking the vitals of cats and dogs coming out of anesthesia. As a college student, I am pretty flexible in my availability. I am unable to conduct visits or walks on Thursdays, but any other day of the week I am certainly able to care for your pet. About: My name is Marissa and I'm am excited to return to Rover! My love for animals has been around since I was a child but blossomed during my time volunteering for an animal shelter. In addition to my volunteer work, I had an English Springer Spaniel for 11 years and a cat for 8 years, so I have quite a bit of experience caring for dogs and cats. I have administered oral medication, washed and walked dogs, helped train dogs, and brushed their teeth. I'm very patient with all cats and dogs and give them my full attention. I'm available most weekends and some weekdays, especially with advanced notice. Any specific requests? Let me know and I'll be happy to accommodate! I am currently working M-F from 8:00-5:00, but can accommodate weekday drop-in visits with additional notice. My main availability is on weekends and holidays. I take great care to ensure my clients’ homes are respected. I always offer to water any plants or do any small chores in addition to pet sitting.

I prioritize open communication with pet owners to build trust. A little background about me: I currently have a rare brain tumor that makes it difficult for me to hold a regular job. The tumor is stable and only affects my vision in my left eye. I hope that with treatment, I will soon overcome this health challenge so I can return to school to become an MRI technician. In the meantime, I’m happy to work with Rover to save up for that goal. Taking care of your pets would mean a lot to me and would help me progress toward my aspirations. I also have a well-behaved Belgian Malinois named Nezuko, who gets along with most dogs (check out the pictures) she really likes small dogs as she grew up with a Maltese and learned to play gentle with them, and she still loves her bigs dogs as her best friend is a massive Cane Corso who was the genlte giant that taught her how to play when she was growing up. I do Meet ups ar Natomas Meadows Park and the have dogs meet in an open and safe environment. When sitting they will have have beds to lay on, chicken feet or bones to chew on and relax and we will be watching anime most likely all day with walks and park visits in between. As I stated I am disabled so I consider this my full time job and I do my best to make sure your dogs feel cared for while they are stay with me. I am somewhat new to Rover but I've pet sitted alot over the years so feel free to ask any questions (Note: if there is a day I am not available please send me a message. I am on permanent disability so i am available at all times. I am still very active and I walk my own dog 3-4 miles a day. I have a huge park across the street that I take my dog to every day. If your dog is not good off-leash, I have a 50 ft leash they can use if they have a compatible vest. My dog is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. She does get very excited when she sees new dogs and people, but I've never seen her be aggressive with any dog or person.

I am one that is very scepticle on who looks after my animals; because i know that noone will ever take care or love my animals the way my fiance and I do.
