“This was my second time booking with Martha, and she was wonderful once again. She was very flexible with drop-off and pick-up, provided regular updates, and took great care of my dog while I was away. I felt completely at ease and would definitely book with Martha again!”

“I wanted to send a big thank you to you for watching Moose. I am often hesitant about leaving him with someone else, but I truly feel I left him with the right person. I really appreciate how responsive, sweet, and respectful you were throughout the stay. Your knowledge about dogs is clear, and it was wonderful that you could take him on walks and spend time with him while working from home and sending daily updates. I would definitely like to book with you again for my next trip. You are a 10/10 for me :) Thanks again!”

“Geisel was wonderful with Milo. She was accommodating and professional. I really appreciated all the cute photos. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Kazue is everything you can ever ask for in a dog sitter. Very quick communication. Sends photos of my dog every morning, midday, and evening. She even folded my dog’s blanket and washed his bowls prior to me picking up my dog. She is absolutely wonderful!”

“If you're looking for someone who will treat your furry friend like family while you're away, look no further than Miya! From the moment I dropped off my fur babies I knew they were in good hands. Miya has a genuine love for dogs, and it shows in the way she interact with both of my dogs. The cozy atmosphere of her home made my dogs feel right at home with multiple beds and even a staircase, and sent me so many videos and photos during my vacation which always made my day! I highly recommend Miya to anyone in need of a caring and reliable pet sitter :)”

“As usually Erin did a superb job watching our fur baby! She loves staying at Erin’s and Erin goes above and beyond to take good care of our fur baby while we are away!”

“My fur-child did well staying overnight with Lety. It had been about 6 months since he needed boarding again. My sweet boy was taken care with much love and care as always. My mind is always at ease knowing Niko is with Lety.”

About: Hello there! My name is Josh, and I’m an enthusiastic dog caretaker who would love the chance to take care of your dog. At first glance, you might be unsure if this guy who looks like a pirate can reliably care for your furry friend. Rest assured, I am dedicated to meeting your dog’s needs in a safe and fun environment. I will ensure that your dog feels loved and happy. I prioritize open communication with pet owners to build trust. A little background about me: I currently have a rare brain tumor that makes it difficult for me to hold a regular job. The tumor is stable and only affects my vision in my left eye. I hope that with treatment, I will soon overcome this health challenge so I can return to school to become an MRI technician. In the meantime, I’m happy to work with Rover to save up for that goal. Taking care of your pets would mean a lot to me and would help me progress toward my aspirations. I promise to go above and beyond in my service to show my appreciation. I also have a well-behaved Belgian Malinois named Nezuko, who gets along with all dogs. If you’d like, we can arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand—I’d be happy to do so. If you'd like to see my pup. Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I am on permanent disability so i am available at all times. I am still very active and I walk my own dog 3-4 miles a day. I have a huge park across the street that I take my dog to every day. If your dog is not good off-leash, I have a 50 ft leash they can use if they have a compatible vest. My dog is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. She does get very excited when she sees new dogs and people, but I've never seen her be aggressive with any dog or person.
“Danielle was a fantastic host. She is a good communicator, very accommodating and overall just a delightful person. Cersei felt 100% comfortable staying with Danielle and had fun playing with her own pups as well.”

“Achara has been amazing. We’ve used her 3 times now and every single experience has been great. She sends us pictures every day of our pup playing in the backyard with her dogs, which gives us a ton of peace of mind when we’re away. The biggest sign of all is that every time he sees her, he gets so excited he literally pees himself. He absolutely loves her, and it’s obvious she takes great care of him. Couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Mir and her family were great with Cookie. She did check in and let me know how cookie was doing over the 3 days and sent pictures. We will definitely use her again should Cookie need a sitter.”

“I can't say enough about how positive the experience was. Melissa and her family are super sweet and caring. We arranged to have our dogs meet in advance, which was great, and Melissa took the time to make that happen. My dog took some time to socialize with their other dogs, but Melissa was accommodating and helpful to make sure that process went smoothly. She also sent pictures and video while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Matt gave outstanding care and attention to my dog. Thorough in his updates and careful to follow my requested care instructions. His pet dog was easy for mine to get along with.”

“Just wanted to say a big thank you for doing such a great job taking care of Odin! It’s such a relief knowing they’re in good hands. I can tell they’re happy and well-loved while I’m away, and that means the world to me. Thanks again for being so reliable and caring — we both appreciate you!”

“We booked Roy because our previous sitter canceled and Roy was quick to respond and very willing to take care of Rudy. Rudy is a Doby in his teenage phase so he has a lot of energy and Roy was ready to take that on. He gave Rudy lots of attention and play time and Rudy had a blast. We felt so relaxed on our trip because we knew Rudy was in good hands. Highly recommend Roy for your sitter!”

“Wish I could give 6 out of 5 stars! Jared is a likeable friendly guy who cares about the animals he's watching. My pug was a little nervous at the meet & greet but quickly decided he liked it there. I had no problem with drop off because my dog was excited to be there again. I got regular updates with adorable pictures. At pickup time my pug was excited and happy to see me, but maybe a little sad to be leaving his new friends.”

“Left my very big, very shy cat alone for the first time, and was a little anxious about finding someone to check on him. Payton was the perfect person for the job! She sent regular updates, and even sent photos of the cat under the bed! I highly recommend you hire Payton to watch your furry friend - you and your pets will be glad you did!”

“Jazmine is such a life saver! We’re out of town for a weekend and I noticed on our pet cam that one of our auto feeders wasn’t running so I was panicking about our cats not having enough food. Jazmine accommodated a last minute same day booking request responding early in the morning and heading over to our place on a short notice. She went above and beyond what I even requested because I really just needed to make sure the cats had food, but she cleaned out their entire water fountain (which is a lot of work!), scooped all their litter and left the place super clean, and also spent time playing with them. We have a new cat that is in isolation right now and I provided very sparse direction but Jazmine knew exactly what to do with almost no direction, bringing her up another portion of wet food, changing out her water bowl for fresh water, and scooping her litter even though I didn’t even get a chance to tell Jazmine where we had placed the litterbox. I know whenever Jazmine is over our kitties and house are in good hands, and it’s a huge weight off my shoulders having a super reliable, professional, and responsible cat sitter who takes amazing care of my cats! Thanks a bunch Jazmine!”

“Jenna was great for checking in on my pup while I was at work! She took lots of photos and a video of their time at the park. It’s easy to tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of pets and spending time with them. I’ll definitely continue having her take care of my pets!”

“Mindi did such a wonderful job of making sure my cat was well-cared for while I was gone. He gets really anxious when I’m away, and I could tell that she did a great job playing with him because he was calmer than normal once I came back. She also made sure he had water and a clean litter box everyday. I really recommend Mindi if you’re looking for someone to take care of your pet!”

“Outstanding pet sitters! They went above and beyond to care for my cats—ensuring fresh food and water, clean litter, and a clean environment. They gave the beasts plenty of love, attention, and brushing. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets.”

“From the very first visit, I knew my four cats were in the best hands. Anita has this incredible way of putting you at ease; she jumped right in, effortlessly managing their individual diets and medications. It was amazing to see my usually shy cats instantly warm up to her! The daily updates and photos were the highlight of my day, and her communication is top-notch. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely dedicated to providing such loving care. Anita is officially my go-to sitter!”

“She was absolutely AMAZING with our son! Since it was our first time using Rover, we were a bit nervous, but we are so satisfied. She was incredibly considerate and always willing to help with anything we needed. Thank you so much!!”

“Samantha was fantastic! My cat seemed to really enjoy hanging with her and she was very responsive and a great photographer too. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of my co-workers cats when she goes on vacation. I feed the cats 3 times a day and play with them. I would visit for about an hour or so and make sure that their kitty litter is clean.
“Whitney was great with our two shy cats. She provided very helpful updates and photos for every drop in visit and also went above and beyond by cleaning up some messes that the cats had left. Would definitely recommend and trust for future bookings.”

“Becca is great! She went above & beyond when watching Zoe and I’d definitely recommend and rebook with her. She’s trustworthy, responsible, asked great questions, sent cute pictures, and was patient ???”

About: Cats have always held a special place in my heart. I love their unique personalities, their quirky habits, and the trust they give when they feel safe and comfortable. I know that every cat is different, and I genuinely enjoy taking the time to get to know each one for who they are. When caring for your cat, I don't just stop by to feed them and clean the litter box. I spend time with them, learn their routine, and make sure they feel cared for while you're gone. Whether your cat is playful and outgoing, shy and reserved, or somewhere in between, I'll meet them where they are and provide the attention and care that makes them feel most comfortable. I understand how hard it can be to leave your cat behind, even for a short trip. As a pet owner myself, I know the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone is treating your pet with genuine kindness and care. That's why I make it a priority to keep you updated with photos and messages so you can see how your cat is doing and know they're in good hands. Some cats want lots of playtime and affection. Others simply want a calm, friendly presence and someone who respects their space. Whatever your cat needs, I'm happy to provide it. My goal is to make their time without you as comfortable and stress free as possible. I treat every cat as if they were my own with patience, love, and plenty of attention. It would be a privilege to care for your furry family member and earn both your trust and theirs.

About: I have experience caring for cats with different personalities and needs. I’m comfortable with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playing, and making sure cats feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that some cats love attention while others prefer space, and I always try to follow their normal routine to keep them happy and stress-free.
“Erin did an absolute amazing job taking care of my kitties while I was away. She did everything I asked and more, I will definitely be using her services again! Wonderful job!”
About: I grew up on a ranch with animals and very loved pets of all shapes and sizes. This taught me to be responsible, resourceful, and reliable. :) I currently work from home full time looking to spend my free time loving and caring for your kiddos when you aren’t able to be there. I’m Available 5pm and after on weekdays and flexible on weekends. Please contact me more on deets! Pets tend to love me as much as I love to love on them but I am very aware of when to give them space and can crate them if needed or if it makes them more comfortable. I’m also hyperaware of dietary and medical requirements if any. I just went through around the clock care for my furbaby so I understand any concerns you may have and will make sure your baby is well taken care of and comfortable. <3
About: I’ve always loved animals when I was young, i grew up taking care of my friends pets and farm animals but now I am also working at Animal Den Pet Resort and have some professional experience in giving care to dogs and cats. I’m open to adjusting the prices. I’m pretty much free all day for a while. I’m also a runner so I can take them on some good runs! The only times that are busy are Sunday’s and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings I actually cannot have any dogs in my home so my care would mostly be dog waking and house sitting. I believe I may have made a mistake in my settings for this option

About: I have lived with and cared for my own and family cats most of my life. I have learned many ways to give cats oral medications and I have given my cat subcutaneous vitamin B12 injections. I volunteered with a cat rescue where I fostered kittens and adult cats … some with health issues and some with behavioral issues. I have also volunteered cat sitting for friends in the past.

“We’ve booked Grisel several times and will continue to rebook! She has gone above and beyond to provide exemplary care for my Otter boy (lending him a doggy sweater when it’s cold outside and successfully flushing his eyes with his eye wash during allergy flare-ups). I can rest easy knowing that he is in her care.”

“Cedric was amazing!!! Hands down the best doggy care one could ask for. He consistently kept me updated about what they had done for the day. Thank you again Cedric!!”

“Happy I found Martha to take care of Niko. She responds in a timely manner & very flexible with my last minute requests. She ask all the important questions to assure she provides the best care for your fur-child. My shy Niko and her sweet pup Misty got along really well hanging out for the first time. Niko enjoyed his stay with Martha & her family!”

About: I started volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter in the 4th grade. Since then I have volunteered at numerous shelters and rescues, including the emergency animal shelter in Oroville after the Camp Fire. I'm Disaster Animal Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) trained, animal CPR and first aid certified, and have years of TNR experience. I have had many exotics as pets, including a reef tank at one time. I have no issue feeding crickets and worms, but I can't feed snakes rodents. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, so that would traumatize me. Lol. I also love rodents, and currently have 2 rescue guinea pigs. Animal care and nutrition are a passion of mine. I'm also an expert teeth brusher! I brush my cats and dogs teeth every night and some of my pet sits as well. I'm very experienced giving medication, even pills to cats and my recently adopted cat Ricky is diabetic. Two of my regular cats I sit take meds, and one gets insulin injections, so I'm very comfortable with both and also know how to check blood glucose. Animals are allowed on the furniture in my home, even the bed. A couple of dogs I regularly sit sleep in the bed with me and my dogs. I treat other people's furbabies the way I would want my furbabies treated. I'm a helicopter pet parent so I totally understand how hard it is to trust someone with the ones you love. If I ever thought something was wrong with your pet I would notify you asap, and I have no issue taking an animal to the vet. I have a rescue dog who has occasional seizures and a rescue kitty with kidney disease that I give sub-q fluids to every day, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to pet care. I actually have a pet thermometer and carry a microchip reader in my truck with an extra leash. You'd be surprised how many times I've used that chip reader! Being a helicopter pet parent I NEVER EVER leave an animal outside alone, not even in my fenced in yard. I don't take chances. I'm also obsessively clean, so your litter box will not be a hot mess when you return, and if your dog uses a potty pad no problem. I also have waterproof vinyl plank flooring so accidents and kitty puke is easy to clean up. :-D. When I board animals it is very much mi casa esu casa! I'm also more than happy to water plants when I do drop-ins as well, since I have them myself and am also a gardener. :-) I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 days I come home for lunch since the office is only 2.5 miles from my house. I'm home most weekends as well. I follow the care instructions to the letter. If your pup requires a crate it must be brought with them, since mine are not crated. I am comfortable giving medication and supplements, measuring food, following a raw food diet, feeding exotics, etc. I'm also comfortable grooming for an extra fee, but will never ignore a mat in their fur or charge extra for daily grooming like toothbrushing.
“Sade responded very quick on a Saturday night for a Sunday morning booking. My shy pup was well taken care , safe and sound! Sade updated me with photos of her settling in throughout the day. Sade and her family are a responsible, loving pet haven. We will be back!”

“Becky was amazing with our newly adopted fur baby! I had to reach out last minute and she was so willing to help. She took Daisy out for her walks and gave her her medicine and ointments as well as sent me updates throughout their day together ◡̈”

“Tanisha was fantastic with my dog Morty. My dog is reactive and nervous around new dogs, and she was willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he would feel comfortable with her and her dog. We did a meet and greet, followed by a test overnight board and test daycare. It was incredible to see how well my dog settled in with her. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs she watches. I got a lot of pictures and videos of my dog while he was with Tanisha (more than I've ever gotten from a sitter). I highly recommend Tanisha!”

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for children, animals and houses. I have a wonderful sense of humor, am playful, and will go the extra mile to tend to your animal and house-sitting needs. I am currently working full-time, so I can do drop-in animal care at lunch-time or in the evenings, and can work remotely from your house if needed for house-sitting. I will aim to treat your animals and home with love and care. I will follow the instructions you leave and will aim to make it seem like you would never even know I was there, because things will be so clean and tidy.

“Miya is incredible! She took the time to research my dog’s breed and focused on acclimating my dog to her home and surroundings. I appreciate the fact that she cared enough to take the time to observe whether our dog was a good fit for her and vice versa.”

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my deep understanding of dog behavior and my genuine passion for creating a safe, fun, and loving environment for every pup I care for. I don’t just “watch” dogs—I engage with them through structured play, enrichment activities, and tailored routines based on their needs and personalities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my focus is always on creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment.
“This was Mitzi’s first time staying with Matt, and it went really well. She was a little nervous at first, but Matt was patient and made her feel comfortable. He communicated regularly and sent photo updates, which I really appreciated. By the end of the stay, she seemed relaxed and happy. I’d definitely book with Matt again. Thanks for taking such great care of Mitzi!”

“I felt so comfortable leaving our cheyanne in jans care. Everything about this first time experience using a doggie daycare was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for taking such great care of our family during a time of need!”

“Today was Bruno’s second day with Kazue and he ran right up to her front door and was ready to play with her. She sends great pics and videos of him and he’s seemed to gotten very comfortable with her. Thank you Kazue for taking good care of my baby.”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc. I believe animals come into our lives to make it better and to give us unconditional love. I have trained all my puppies as well as cared for my parents elderly Bullmastiff. I am very sensitive to the needs of pets and can feel when something is wrong. My schedule is open Monday - Sunday, I am a stay at home fur mom and I can not wait to meet your fur baby. All of my cats and dogs are indoor. I believe that is the safest way to keep them healthy and protected. However, if your fur baby is outside I will make sure all gates, doors are closed, locked and secure!

About: Hi, my name is Jacky! 👋🏽 I’m a dedicated and experienced pet sitter who truly treats every pet like my own. I’ve fostered dogs in the past, which means I’m comfortable working with a wide range of personalities—including shy, energetic, or more sensitive pups who need extra patience and care. At home, I have three dogs—a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix, a Poodle/Maltese mix, and a Shiba/Husky mix—so I’m very familiar with different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Whether your pet loves playtime, long walks, or just relaxing and cuddling, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always provide updates, photos, and clear communication for peace of mind. My goal is to make your time away stress-free—for both you and your pet! I maintain a consistent routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and regular potty breaks. I do work, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and care, along with regular updates. “Shang was amazing with my dogs. She was always on time and communicated when she arrived at my house. One of my dogs requires more time to get comfortable with and Shang was very patient with him. She understood their own comfortability levels which allowed them to trust her. I can tell that the dogs are fond of her from the smiles in the photos she sends me! Shang is reliable, caring and I would recommend her to anyone looking for help with the pups!”

“Payton was so good with my dog, Davis! She walked him for an hour, and took lots of photos. He came back happy and tired. Will definitely book again. Thank you!!”

“He watched our dog while we were out of town for four days and he was reliable and communicated with us during each visit. He sent photos of our pup on each visit and also fed and filled his water bowl. We will definitely be booking him again in the future. Thank you, Cedric.”

“As first-time Rover users, we chose Alexandra and all we can say is Alexandra is the best! She is extremely prompt & communicative and was eager to help us navigate the app and Rover support when we realized we were being charged holiday fee outside of the holiday period. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she cares for while the owners are away. Thanks Alex!”

“Matt gave outstanding care and attention to my dog. Thorough in his updates and careful to follow my requested care instructions. His pet dog was easy for mine to get along with.”

“Doh is an excellent sitter. We left our dog Bailey for the first time with a stranger but Doh was nothing but great to him, she sent us pictures and we were so happy that he got to play with other canine friends”

“Becky did an amazing job watching our Husky, Cleo. She constantly kept us updated on how Cleo was doing and sent a ton of pictures throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend her for dog sitting!”

“Absolutely Wonderful Dog Sitter! We couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing care our dog Chewy received. From the start, it was clear that she genuinely cared about his well-being. Chewy was feeling down and wasn’t eating much, which had us worried. Not only did she keep us updated with regular photos and messages, but she also went the extra mile by asking if she could cook him some liver to mix with his food to help encourage him to eat. Thanks to her kindness and attentiveness, Chewy perked up by the third day—he was running around and playing again! It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in such loving and capable hands. We felt like she treated Chewy as if he were her own dog. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who truly goes above and beyond!”

“Kristen was absolutely wonderful! She was flexible and accommodating when needed. She sent pictures of play time and how Milo was doing throughout the stay. I will definitely use her services again!”

“Needed a last minute sitter for a week while we were away, and couldn’t be happier with Amanda! We have a really anxious dog but he settled in fairly quickly and had a playmate with Amanda’s daughter. In fact when picking Simon up, her daughter was carrying Simon … it was so sweet. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Amanda.”

“Our family is newer to Sacramento and are so happy to have a great home for Theo to be in while we travel! Jeffrey and Jennifer were very accommodating and communicative and gave Theo great care. Theo is very happy to have Hennessy as a new play mate too!”
“Cathy was awesome with our fur baby Penny! Penny was all smiles when I picked her up at the end of her visit and moped around for a whole day missing Cathy and Lilo. Thanks Cathy!!!”

“Adilene and Rhoda took such great care of our Frenchie, Whiskey. He always has a wonderful time with them, and we appreciate how attentive and loving they are. They keep us updated with photos and messages, and we know he’s in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“It was our first time using Rover and I was a little nervous. Michael eased my mind and I knew Cooper would be in great hands. From the meet n greet I knew Michael was going to give my boy plenty of attention and then once we dropped him off I saw them on a walk right away. I got plenty of updates of them on walks and pictures of him on their adventures and him pooped out afterwards. Cooper enjoyed his stay and we will definitely be booking a stay with Michael again!”
