About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. I additionally took care of my other dog in her early months waking up multiple times nightly to calm her down. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy or a senior pet needing extra care, I’m confident in handling all kinds of needs. I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week, so I’m able to care for pets whenever needed. About: I love caring for cats and keeping them company. I have house/cat sitted in New York, San Juan, Santo Domingo, Rome, Copenhagen and Los Angeles. I am a freelance musician and I currently work part time doing deliveries mostly at night so my schedule is flexible to accommodate any needs. Most of my free time is during the day and then after 10pm. I take time to get to know your pets and discuss if they have special needs. I like to meet them when the owner is present, so they feel safe and we can talk about the interactions.

About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs since my early childhood. I currently operate a small dog walking business servicing the new orleans area. I currently plan on Pet walking and sitting on weekends and after 4pm on weekdays. I work full time and get off at 4pm which is right on time for walks, food and enrichment activities. I am a Rover sitter and use Rover for sitters for my own pets when I’m out of town, so I personally understand the significance of trusting a sitter with your animals. It’s never easy to leave the fur babies at home, and so I do everything I can to make them comfortable and loved till you’re reunited. I’m good at juggling responsibilities and remembering small details, which makes my care attentive to the unique needs and personality of each pet. I choose to do pet sitting and walking because I can’t have as many of my own pets as my heart desires. I’ve been helping our community and saving the lives of animals for about 6 years now. Being an experienced animal control officer has given me skills, knowledge, compassion and understanding for not just our pets but also our pet owners. During my time as an officer I have taken care of so many animals from fostering them through my shelter or pet sitting through family , friends and clients. I have taken care of all age ranges of dogs and cats. I’ve given daily medication to pets as needed and I also have experience with rehabilitating animals. About: I've been caring for dogs ever since I could walk. I had my first dog at 2 and ever since then I've had a lot of other dogs from all various breeds and sizes. My Wife and I have a Golden Doodle now and she takes so much pampering and care. We've been caring for Animals ever since my youth and I love doing it. I work a part-time job so I have more then enough time to care for your pup and help with anything you need for your furry family member.! We have a small Golden Doodle who loves company and also we have a huge yard for the dogs to run around and play until they can't. We walk to the doggy park and we keep our dog inside as well as we would with any of our clients

About: Throughout my life I have pet sat dogs, cats, rats, bunnies, and reptiles such as bearded dragons and currently work at a doggy daycare/vet. Not only do I have experience caring for animals in a home but I also have experience caring for animals at work and feeding and bathing/exercising them. I am a pretty busy gal but I still have time for your pets! I work Sunday through Monday either 8:30-5, 7:30-4 or 7-3:30. Im off on Feidays and Saturdays. I usually can provide services for your animal in the evenings/late afternoons and weekends. I enjoy providing daily exercise and snuggles. I have a fenced front yard, long concrete driveway perfect for running, and a fenced in backyard with a deck for animals that like to be outside but also need to be monitored. I also have 2 dog friendly dogs and a cat and 3 rats.

About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.

About: I have been around a variety of animals including reptiles my entire life. I worked as a veterinary technician for a year. I am trained to react quickly and have a decent amount of medical training. I am also experienced with handling senior animals including those with special needs. I have handled animals that are paralyzed, post operative, and medication dependent. I have no other job at the moment. This gives me constant availability. I have my own transportation as well as the ability to create my own schedule. I do constantly supervise my animals. I am easily able to redirect an animal before any problems can arise. I have fast reflexes from my time as a veterinary technician.

About: I’ve taken care my dogs my who life. They were always played with, well feed, taken on walks, and groomed to perfection. I love taking care and spending time with animals. I’m available some weekends before 3pm and during the week days I am in school so I have more free time on my hands from working. I have had dogs and cats in my life. My last pet was a female Siamese Cat her name was Nala and I had dog named Bacchus years before her and some one stole them both. But, they stayed with shot updates, vet updates, toys, stocked on food, treats, clothes, love and much entertainment from me. I also believe outside time is very important, it gives them a sense of calmness.

About: Hi! I have had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. My father has been an K-9 offices for years, so I have been around and handled powerful, athletic dogs all my life. I have always had big dogs, and have taken care of neighbor’s dogs as a side job when I was in high school. I am now in school to be a Veterinary Technician and own a pit bull and a tripod cat! I can give your pet a wonderful stay wether they are active or more of a couch potato. I can’t wait to meet your babies. I am currently working full time, but I do have a set schedule so it will be easy for me to keep a steady schedule with clients. I am available all day on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while being able to board on Wednesday and Friday. I have a fenced in yard and a pit bull who is very very friendly and loves all types of dogs, cats, and people. They will have tons of toys to play with and are allowed on furniture to relax with me if they choose.
